I came here for a prenatal massage during my pregnancy a few months ago, which was good, but not exceptional. I can't remember the name of the girl who did it. However, they were having a sale recently and I just gave birth a few weeks ago so I figured why not give it another shot and try someone new. I just went back for a post natal massage with Tasha yesterday (3 weeks postpartum) and oh my, I have to say this was hands down the best massage I have ever had! I don't see how I could even take a chance on going to anyone else after this. She was amazing, professional, warm and made me feel so comfortable and amazing. She really took her time to work on all the areas I needed. She genuinely enjoys what she does and cares for her clients and it shows! She specializes in prenatal and postnatal massages and I will definitely use her for both moving forward, as well as anytime I need a full body massage because she's the best masseuse I've ever had! In addition to my amazing massage, other things I love about this place are the easy and free parking lot with plentiful parking right in front, the nice, laid back and professional front desk staff, the cleanliness of the rooms, linens and bathroom, and the pricing is fair and competitive with other places in the area. I wanted to give this place a good review but honestly, it might have been one of the worst massages I've ever had. After a really stressful week at work, I needed to relax. I wanted to get off the table after the first 5 minutes. The flow of the massage was lacking big time, the pressure was inconsistent and jarring, the cupping was painful when it should have been therapeutic. As a therapist myself, I really wanted to give this place a good rating as it's close to my house but unfortunately I won't be going back. read more

Honest review: This place is fine, it'll do, I don't prefer it. The service provided was adequate, not good, and the experience was seriously lacking, for a few reasons 1) despite the pandemic being over and the CDC (and my Dr ofc) no longer requiring masks, this place will make you wear one 2) blaringly, jarringly loud 'white noise' - in the hallways and treatment rooms - that made it impossible to hear any of the staff members much less my own thoughts - not very relaxing 3) nowhere to change before your service 4) seriously thin linens that don't exude a luxurious experience but more importantly don't fit the bed, making it risky to flip over without falling off 5) instead of using bolsters to apply heat to your neck they use hot, wet, rolled up towels. Perfect experience from start to finish! For starters, mask up up before entering. If you don't own a mask, the lovely lady at the front desk will gladly provide one for you as she gets you checked in... she was such a doll and very hospitable! She also offered me a drink before I was seated: a hot cup tea or iced water. The Indian herbal tea with the honey stick was a nice touch! The ambience was very relaxing, with spa sounds and aromatic scents floating about. My wait was minimal; Seth was calling me back just as I finished the last sip of my tea. I was allowed to undress and position myself on the massage table privately. When Seth returned to the room shortly after. He allowed me to choose which aromatic scent I preferred. I was going for Eucalyptus, but after asking to test the Orange scent, I had to go with the Orange! And to whomever is reading from management: Seth deserves a raise. OMGEEEE! I don't know what the pay is, but he definitely deserves another $20/hr on top of it because BABY... Whatever heavenly land Chick-fil-A came from, that's where Seth was found. This fella rubbed me every way but wrong! I had knots and kinks in my cracks and crevices that I did not know existed. During the entire massage my tolerance of massage pressure was assessed. I had no complaints! And when I tell you, he tenderized me like a prized piece of Sunday meat! He did just that, and still offered me treats upon my departure. The caramel chocolate was just what I needed to say no to sleep after this eventful evening. My experience was far better than sex or garlic butter escargot. And I will be returning. As a matter of fact, I booked my next visit before leaving. This will be a monthly treat to myself for being so daggone amazing! You should definitely give them a try. This was a simply amazing experience on a Friday afternoon during my vacation! I booked a 60-minute massage. From start to finish, it was an immensely relaxing experience. Even though they are located in a busy office park, you can't even tell it with the way the place is set up. They are in the heart of Vinings near the Vinings Jubilee dining and shopping area--just across the street actually. I had Chantal as my LMT, and she was truly knowledgeable and understanding of my personal needs given the muscle tension and tightness in my shoulders, lumbosacral spine, and calf muscles. She paid close attention to detail and even selected the type of oil I prefer, which is the Eucalyptus version because it helps to open up my sinuses. She recommended ways to prevent further muscle tension at home and provided expertise as to how frequently to obtain an massage. I'm new to the massage thing so it was all very helpful. No wonder they are one of the best of the best in Smyrna/Vinings, and I echo that sentiment. Why go any place else? Great experience. It smells wonderful as soon as you step inside. I really enjoyed the ambience, and the staff were really attentive and friendly. As soon as I walked in they asked me if I would like some water and it was in a cute little mason jar. I really love those details! The massage I had was with Erin. Wow! I can't say enough about this place! I booked same day on a fluke and took a later time. I needed some relief being 39 weeks pregnant and boy did I get it! It was a little difficult to find just because of all the other businesses in the area. However, I just called and they were able to direct me to the spot. I went after dark, which was also a little scary, but once I was inside... Wow. It's a very tranquil and serene atmosphere. The intake process was quick. Kathryn (GM, I hope that's right) was so considerate and notably productive. She made sure I was ok, got me chamomile tea and was still buzzing around doing her job! I was super relaxed before Ann came to get me! Ann came to get me and she had a really friendly and warm smile. I was a little hesitant being so late in my pregnancy, never having been here, and not having a great massage at the last place I had been to, but boy was this different. They have a legit pregnant massage pillow, which ALONE was pregnant. WHAT?! I haven't been able to sleep or rest on my stomach in MONTHS. This with the music, essential oil, towels and Ann's magic hands gave me some much needed relief! I could hardly walk when I came in and moved much better after!! I recently had a 60 minute Signature Massage at Vinings Massage & Wellness and had a great experience. Elaine was my massage therapist and she was great! Before the session, we sat and spoke about any ailments I may have had, trouble areas, etc. Then even after the session she and I sat and talked about how the session went. It was refreshing to have that opportunity to chat post massage instead of being hurried out for the next appointment (which I have experienced at other massage facilities). I wrote a short one for google but this is the review. When you walk in they seem very organized and together. The overall theme is relaxing and it's really nice. I was hopeful I had found a nice place to get massages. Seth who was actually recommend on this page as a good masseuse led me to my room. It started off pretty good I told him my focal points upper back and shoulders. He said cool, I told him an asian man had rubbed my back and he said I had a lot of knots. He confirmed that he understood that. Seth left the room while I got undressed. While he was gone somewhere along the way Seth decided my lower body must be in great pain. I assume after asking me what I did for a living he decided I must be confused about pain and spent 45 minutes of my 60 minute massage working on my lower body. Oh yes Seth put an elbow on butt and just kept rubbing my lower back on both sides. Then rubbed my legs intensely for some reason. I kept squirming because keeping the face down position with a sore back kinda hurts when its not being paid attention to. After seth had his lower body marathon I said my backs hurts it really tight. He said I'm getting to that roll over on your back I was like okay??? As he put his hands under my back to give me all the pressure a napkin from a child's birthday party could tolerate he said why are you so tense and I said because I need back massage. He jiggled my head around and stretched it a bit and said he was done. I got maybe 10-15 minutes of an actual upper back massage. He left to go talk to his coworkers before I got out, you know to get ahead of everything. They never asked me if the massage was good. What could have been done differently. They didn't even ask if I liked it , it was already decided the customer was the problem. What did they offer after their own employee told them I was not pleased and leaving in pain?? Pay for another Massage oh they will had you a card to pay for another massage. I gave the cards back. They immediately called in their masseur that was on call to see if she would be able to accommodate me & within 5mins,she called me back to let me know that she could. They have such a welcoming & warm personality as well. Kerri was the masseur I used & she was AMAZING! She really took the time out to talk to me before the massage so that she could understand what my desires were for this massage. This week was my first visit to Vinings Massage & Wellness, after multiple recommendations from friends for a great massage in the Vinings area. I am 8 months pregnant and although I have had previous prenatal massages during this pregnancy, none of them seemed to bring me much relief. While they were relaxing, I was still in just as much pain after, so I wasn't expecting a ton. I have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised Vinings Massage! I booked with Teri, who came highly recommended as having a ton of prenatal experience. The entire session was wonderful. In addition to working out my hips and sciatica (where the majority of my pregnancy-related complaints were concentrated), she did a fantastic deep massage on my neck and shoulders. I left feeling absolutely wonderful, and the intense pain I was feeling all over my body hasn't returned. Plus Teri was super personable and fun to talk to during the session. It has taken me a couple of days to get around to writing this but WOW! I had a 90 minute massage last Wednesday with Sarah Rose and it was phenomenal. Not only soothing and relaxing but also incredibly therapeutic. She has an incredibly intuitive touch. I requested work on my shoulders/neck/upper back and left feeling much more relaxed through that area. Not only did she manage to work out knots there, but also paid attention to the rest of my body. I am a massage therapist in asheville NC and work with extremely talented therapists on a daily basis and Sarah's work was on par with what they're doing. I have long-term issues with my SI joint which i have chiropractic work done on regularly. But the muscles stay tended around it esp after traveling. So had the focus/attention be on low back. This place is truly wonderful. I injured a neck muscle at the gym and had blinding headaches for several days. Nothing was working so I decided to try massage therapy. Vinings Massage & Wellness just happened to have availability that same day. Online they offer various massage packages, but I called and explained my situation- that I was looking for relief more than relaxation -and they were happy to work with me. The waiting area was pleasant and quiet. I was offered tea or water while I filled out a few papers. I had the pleasure of having Dria as my therapist. She spent the entire hour on my shoulders, neck, and head- where I held all of my tension. She really focused on the muscles that needed it most and recommended some things I could do at home to prevent injury in the future. She always made sure I was comfortable while rolling out some really painful knots. As soon as I got off the table I realized my headache was gone for the first time in 4 days! The aromatherapy probably helped as well. But Dria has the magical touch! I recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing massage or for relief from tight muscles. I came to this location for 2 acupuncture treatments with Jennifer in the past month. I can't recommend her enough! This was my first experience with this type of treatment and I wasn't sure what to expect, but Jen set the bar very high with her excellent bedside manner, and calm, caring demeanor. My first appointment was 90 minutes. This consisted of a 30 minute chat with Jen to go over my history, and discuss anything I want to focus on during the session. The last 60 minutes consisted of her doing the actual acupuncture treatment. Needless to say, I felt great after the session, but looked forward to our next meeting to see if I could keep this up. My second session was shorter, 60 minutes. This consisted of a quick chat for her to see what had been going on in my life since she last saw me, and for her to assess what points needed to be treated during that session. I felt like a whole new person after our second session. I felt grounded and calm, and amazed at how these tiny needles can make you feel so great. I plan to see Jennifer at least once every month to continue our sessions. I think that acupuncture is a great addition to a healthy lifestyle and would recommend this place (and Jennifer) to anyone that isn't sure how they feel about Accu, but want to try it out for the first time! The baby place was very nice, clean and it smelled amazing. My massage was not all that, I asked for him to go deeper but he barely did. I was lost so I arrived about 2:37 for my hour massage, we started about 2:45 and it was o we at exactly 3:30. So I paid for an hour but barely got 45min. They informed me that he was pretty booked up and since I was late I wouldn't receive my full hour. Which I could have been told that at the desk and they could told me that I would only be able to get a 30min. So now I feel like it was waisted money and time! read more
