I bought a series of lymphatic stimulation massages. I originally wanted Ofelia to perform the services due to all the positive reviews on her, but she is on vacation so I scheduled with Savannah (as per the recommendation of Ofelia). I was a little late to my first appointment but Savannah still provided me with a full hour of massage! And let me tell you, that was the best massage EVER!! I have never fallen asleep during a massage before, but while under the care of Savannah I woke myself up from my snoring numerous times. This lady is so polite, professional and remarkable. At the end of our first session, I hurriedly booked the second. I will definitely be a repeat customer. This is a big deal for me, because of the 4 or 5 times I have had a massage in the past, I have enjoyed none of them. But after my experience with Savannah I now know why people love to get massages. Updated review: Upon arriving, I thought it was weird that there are no signs to point you where the Muscle Relaxers are. Instead, it's her brothers Accupunture practice. The message was just ok. If you have a lot of knots and a really tense neck/upper shoulders, don't expect to have all knots taken out even after it being communicated. At one point I wasn't sure if she was going to do any pressure I liked as she was lightly spreading my skin so to speak. I had to ask if she was going to get into something more. She explained she was doing a new technique to help my fascia... As far as relaxation the techniques are good and one really great thing I did like is that I felt she made it a point to really mentally and spiritually connect with my body and energy in a healing way. That to me was pretty awesome. I was so relaxed that a Radom animal appeared as in my closed eye vision as if I were meant to tell her about it. So I think she unblocked some chackra because thats never happened before. Although I left still needing another massage. I was glad to get that relaxed for the time being. To the owner: My review is for this was 3 stars only due to the fact that although I was relaxed, I had many knots that were not taken out. This is exactly what I needed for the chronic pain in my left leg including knee, hip, and IT band pain. Though the place was a little tricky to find, it is spa like once you get there. Just look for the buckhead acupuncture suite; they share the same office. I saw Ofelia but hear good reviews on the other therapists too. She focused on exactly the needed sore spots I had and used a variety of techniques including stretching the IT band quite a bit. I felt much better after the session and pain was lessened significantly. She also provided stretches for me to do on a consistent basis. I highly recommend Muscle Relaxers! read more

Ofelia's thai yoga massage is the best. You keep your close on and lay on a mat on the floor while she manipulates your joints and muscles every way possible. My voice is even different! I do the 75 minute and my daughter does the 90. You will not regret treating yourself to this. read more

2.5 out 5 5 stars for ofelia - husband loved it- was totally relaxed. 1/5 for Gwen- she might be good at Swedish type massage but not at deep tissue. I felt too much poking not any gliding it felt too choppy . I feel almost same or little more worse than I walked in. I had 5 things that I asked her t focus on- nope she didn't she's super rough as well. Once it was clear - even ofelia noticed I wasn't relaxed- she charged me full price and offered discount to the next. Ofelia is a miracle worker !! I have had a back spasm around my shoulder blade area for nearly 3 weeks as a result of my scoliosis. I saw that the Ofelia was trained in Neuromuscular therapy (which I had never tried) but I thought I would give it a shot. Normally, when I have a back spasm I go get a deep tissue massage, which helps, but only temporarily. The spasm will usually come back in 2-3 months. I was able to book an appointment online for the next day. In doing so, I left a short description about the pain I was having. Within 15 minutes, Ofelia wrote me back to say that because it sounded like I was in so much pain, she could fit me in at 6:45pm THAT DAY if I wanted - which could not be more ideal for my busy work schedule. I obviously jumped on her offer. Ofelia's technique is not only soothing, but takes a scientific approach to working on the other areas of your body that affect that particular muscle area with the overall goal of creating more long term balance. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the body and all of its muscles, tissues, and pressure points and can help you release tension by simply pressing two of her fingers in a single spot. You can tell she is passionate about her work which is what makes her so good at it. I've already scheduled my next appointment and plan to see her regularly. Each session she will continue working to get my body in alignment so hopefully I can avoid any more back spasms in the future. Additionally, the facility feels very much like a spa (calming music, dim lighting, essential oils) but without the spa price tag. So whether you have chronic back pain or are just looking to have a relaxing massage, I could not recommend the Muscle Relaxers more highly. Ofelia is your girl! You are taken out of the city completely and put into a beautiful state of mind just by walking in the door. The massage I received has been so effective for me that it's benefits have ranged from relaxed muscles and no headaches to deeper sleeps and an overall happier self. Ofelia is literally a goddess by the hands! I was on tour and we had a day off in Atlanta, I called Ofelia (same day) to see if she had an opening and she did! She even worked around my schedule when something came up. I was a little nervous because I'd never had a deep tissue but when I got there she talked to me and made me feel so comfortable. This review is loooong overdue! I went to see Ophelia recently when my sad sore muscles couldn't take any more abuse. My neck back and shoulders had had enough and she is my go to person when I am in such a tender state. Come to think of it I need to send my boss an invoice for this but I digress. She's highly skilled and used a really wide range of techniques. She's very strong and was able to really dig in on some problem spots (in a good way), but was very clear upfront that I shouldn't hesitate to speak up and she would adjust to my comfort level.
