And since you didn't take Medicare or my insurance I would have been glad to pay the out of pocket expense Like I did twice. My first Drs. appointment I though was great you put me on a taper down steroid and then a muscle relaxer For joints and nerves and I thought finally a Dr that understands and cares and that's willing to work with me and second appointment should be better. Only thing before I could come back I ended up in hospital in Janesville with cellulitis for three days and got out only to go in two days later with bacteria infection to Deans Clinic Janesville's so had to cut open drain. Hurt like hell. So not thrilled with Deans clinic(nurses are great) So I visited the Milwaukee clinic today since it was scheduled after and from my first visit in March. I was really looking forward to my appointment today and was rather disappointed. So i explained the muscle relaxers really aren't helping but the steroids did but my immune system got weak from them and then I developed Cellulits. I've had this like 5 times before in legs and knee. So I received a prescription for the infection in arm by hand Today from you and that was it. I did mention last time about anxiety and did let you know today that my mother was dying from cancer and may have two months to live and that I would need to be on the top of my game health wise to help out!! I don't know what the girls name was that was attending me, but it was the two younger girls who are Latina and have the windows as soon as you enter.. they just made everything feel like we were unwelcome. Then when we were called to the back, they had to take my husband's vitals before we headed into the room. It looked like a playground back there ... to be very honest with you. I don't think half of the people working back. There are even certified. The physician his self was an OK doctor, but it seemed like he was in a rush he didn't know my husband, and it was his first time with him, but he didn't ask many questions. He just prescribed him a whole bunch of medication's. We wanted to be heard, instead of throwing all these drugs at. Then on the way out, we had to make a follow up appointment and again with the same two little girls. Was not a good experience then as well. It is just very unprofessional here. However, the pharmacy in that building is pretty quick pretty fast and the girls at the register are nicer. I've been seeing Dr. Oosterbaan for a few years and after my last visit I'll never return. Over the…read morelast two years, my weight gain has been a huge pain point for me. Last year, when Dr. Oosterbaan brought it up during my annual appt, she was fairly understanding and made some good recommendations. Fast forward to this year and my weight came up again and she basically encouraged me to develop an eating disorder if I wanted to lose weight... She suggested I skip breakfast, eat three hard boiled eggs for lunch, and have plain grilled chicken on top of a bed of plain lettuce for dinner. And if I wanted a snack at all during the day to have a cheese stick. She also said that peanut butter and nuts are too caloric, and that I should never eat those. And forget about carbs! She said pasta and bread are a huge no no (even in moderation) and that she never eats carbs. What was I supposed to say? Congratulations on depriving yourself of tasty foods? She was also super abrasive and rude when she said she wouldn't write me a prescription for Ozempic (which, I never asked for one and wasn't planning on asking for it!) She brought it up on her own. I've never left an appointment feeling so horrible about myself, but there's a first time for everything and thanks to Dr. Oosterbaan, that's exactly how I felt. If this is how she treats someone who isn't considered "overweight", I'm scared to imagine how she treats someone who is. Two and a half weeks later and I'm still disgusted by this conversation. I'll find someone else who treats their patients with respect and understanding, which you won't get with her.
