We got a gift card for Christmas and finally used it. I know they have a building now, but when it was the truck they were only open certain days and the few times we tried to order they were out of pizza. Now at the building they seem to have more pizzas we got the pepperoni pizza and margarita pizza and some pepperoni bites. All very good. The marina sauce was delicious. I go to nyc several times a year and it was similar to NYC pizza. Service was fast as well. read more

Vinnie's Pies feels like those retro pizza joints I used to go to when I was a kid. As soon as we walked in, we smelled that nostalgic pizza oven aroma. And the pies didn't disappoint. It was authentic, thin, savory pizza pretty similar to what I've gotten in New York. They even have the square style which is common in NYC (Vinnie's calls it "grandma style"). And it's one of the few places in Fort Smith with a solid vegan option, which some people in my party needed. I recommend the lunch special )one slice with a side salad) since the pies are pretty large. Our server was super nice- almost a little too attentive to our needs- but she made sure we were happy with everything. Only downside was they have no menu on Facebook and no website I could find. Definitely need to work on their online presence, but otherwise I'd gladly come back for more pizza. read more

Ignore the negative reviews. The pizza here is FANTASTIC and is very similar to what you get in New York(I am from Queens). The owners are friendly and the atmosphere is great. The bartenders are very fun and the coctail menu is modern and different. The desserts are great(especially the cheesecake) and the mini bagels are EXACTLY what you would want from a new york bagel. We were so hyped to try a new pie. Said it was New York Style. I'm from the East Coast, so yes! Waited an hour for a table, Not bad. It was Friday night. Once we were seated, waited another ten to be acknowledged. The side salad is Uber small. The pie was overcooked and the toppings were skimpy. The crust was as hard as a brick. We were bummed. My wife and I went here for a date night after a lot of hype. We enjoy other Arkansas pizza staples such as Ruby in Johnson or DeLuca's in Hot Springs, so we were stoked at the prospect of an NY-inspired joint to arrive in the RV. We ordered the upside down pie (menu cites it's a tomato pie, one slices of their plain cheese, and the mozzarella sticks. The mozz sticks were huge and delicious-looking only. They were wholly uneven in seasoning. It tasted like a brick of flavorless, stringy breading and nothing more. The slice of plain cheese had good flavor in the cheese and sauce choices alone. The crust, however, is terrible. It's a brick and clearly over-kneaded. There's no chew or air left in the dough to make it a decent experience. Now, if you take the pizza home and let it sit in the fridge overnight and reheat, the dough will have some moisture and the chew it needs to make it a decent slice. But no pizza joint that prides itself on their product should brag if it's a mediocre one. As for the service, I can't complain. Our waitress was nice and courteous, but it was weird to hear them and their coworker discuss how they planned to split the tip pools while on the floor. It seems like the place is very poorly managed and is trying to hang by on "vibes." In short, if you want good pizza in this area, travel a bit to Ruby in Johnson. Join the waitlist and enjoy what a good pizzeria experience should be for anyone. read more

Extremely poor service !!!, ordered "Fort Smith special 16 inch pizza". Very expensive $28. One or two small chucks bacon and sausage, mostly a plain pepperoni pizza. Very thin crust, anybody's pizza would be better. Nice building, if atmosphere is all you want. read more
