As a business, we order frequently from Vintage Cafe. As of late, for the past several orders, something is always wrong. Normally, an error is not a big deal, but to have it occur consistently, is. Also, when we call our order in and identify ourselves, they ask if it's a big order. Like, it's about the same as we always do, around $100. We are a frequent customer. And now, to make matters worse, prices have jumped significantly. A popular order is their Vintage Salad. It was 9.25 and now is $12. Another dish is the Turkey club for $11. Made with processed Turkey? No thanks. Sad to say our orders will decrease significantly. read more

Great place to grab a bite to eat. Reasonable prices. Right size portions. Food is homemade.

Driving through town, we saw the sign for Vintage Cafe and decided to have lunch. Walked in and the place was packed! Only had to wait a couple of minutes for a table to free up and we were seated at a cheerful table complete with Halloween- themed tablecloth. The service was friendly and prompt, the food tasty and very reasonably priced and the chocolate jumbos are definitely worth trying. Vintage Cafe is owned by Linda Joseph and two of her sisters also work there. Linda also bakes the chocolate jumbos... Be sure to stop by next time you're in the area - and come hungry! read more

Breakfast at 8:30am on a Friday morning was hopping. A stuffed berry french toast special was ordered by two in our party...and it received rave reviews from both. An egg sandwich with cheese and tavern ham on rye was good and reasonably priced. Credit card reader was down...which we found out at check out....forcing us to send one of our diners on a bank run for cash...which was very inconvenient. Had a simple sausage egg and cheese sandwich and coffee. As I finished my second cup of coffee I was told the cook was starting my sandwich. It took over 30 min to get the sandwich which was average at best. Place was not busy either. Ridiculous! read more

We ordered 1 grilled cheese sandwich and the Shephard's Pie special (which I assume is pre-made and reheated upon ordering). The waitress came by and gave us menus and we mentioned we knew what we were going to order, but she put her finger up at us to signal we should wait and never said a word. When she came back, we placed our order. Over a half an hour went by and our food had yet to come out, although 2 tables that came in after we had were served. When I stopped the waitress to ask her if she had placed our order, she was very rude and seemed bothered by the question. She said it would be out soon, but kept walking right by us. This is NOT the first time we've had this experience, particularly with this waitress. We returned a few times to give it another try, but now we will NEVER return. Ever. It was the worst service I've ever had. We actually walked out before the meals came. read more
