It was disappointing as we need a suit for an upcoming wedding. But I understand the policy. This the warning to try it on in the store! You'll find formal wear, street wear, sweaters and hoodies, t-shirts, jackets and coats, jeans and pants and slacks, shoes, belts and accessories here. The shop is well curated, and all you'll see on the racks are straight-up hits. I visited with hoodies in mind. I was shopping for my teenage son. I really didn't know what to expect from this consignment store, but I found way more than I imagined! My son wears a man's size in sweatshirts, so I found a large variety of hoodies and sweatshirts that he might like. Keep in mind that this is a store for adults, so sizes start at adult small, which is actually pretty big. There are no children's clothing sizes here. I walked away with three hoodies, and because they were gifts, I obviously didn't try them on. Although, if I wanted to, there are changing rooms in the store. Be aware that all purchases are final. No returns! The service is top-notch. The people who work here are friendly and ready to help, but will also hang back and let you do your thing if you don't need them. When it came time to check out, they neatly folded my clothing as if it was their own. They have a no-bag policy, so be prepared to carry your clothing out sans bag. When I paid, her first comment was along the lines of how "barely anyone pays with cash anymore." Already, the vibe was off. Then, she asked where I was from. After I informed her I grew up in the local area, she immediately started rambling about her neighbors from India. It was completely inappropriate, micro-aggressive, and made me wonder if she subjects all people of color to this kind of treatment. To make matters worse, I had to return to the store because I was shorted an item due to a system error. The store was nearly empty, but I could immediately tell she was heated and just wanted me gone. I brought an item to exchange and asked about stock for a few others, which is a standard request for a store employee. Instead of helping, her tone got meaner and her voice grew so loud that it felt like I was being reprimanded just for asking questions. She literally started yelling at me. I could see the hate in her eyes, and it took everything in me not to react disrespectfully back to her. Out of pure exhaustion, I gave up and only exchanged half the value of my item. This was hands-down the worst shopping experience I've ever had. If you're looking for similar items but prefer a classy environment where the staff actually welcomes you, I highly recommend going to Charles Mayer & Company instead.

My 15 year old was able to find a couple dresses that she liked and a bodysuit. She was on a mission to find something in yellow, but she did not like the floral prints that kept popping up. My 11 year old, whose style is much different than her older sister, did not really find anything that grabbed her attention. She found herself browsing the more professional looking area of the store with me, but only left with a couple of button-up sleeveless blouses that were on clearance near the window of the store. Oddly enough, I purchased two of those blouses for work as well! They were only $4, so I couldn't resist. I've worn them both to work and they are perfect for a business-casual setting in the height of an Indiana Summer (which is hot and humid!). I also purchased some costume jewelry, most of which was deeply discounted, which is very good because some of it has already begun turning colors from minimal wear. I don't think I'll purchase jewelry there again. All and all, considering that this is a "fast fashion" store, the prices were decent and the staff with friendly. We will return to shop here again.
