I also appreciated the care that was taken to ensure the safety of my cat. The refinishing involved some chemicals with pretty intense fumes and odor, and I was given notice so I could take the cat into another room. Cestaro refinished a 5 piece 1940s solid wood bedroom set for me and the result was spectacular!…read more Ann, the owner, came to my home to give an estimate--she was friendly and efficient and gave me a fair price on the spot. We arranged for the furniture to be picked up for refinishing and I later went to the facility in Woodland Park (look at the map at the entrance to the complex to find the exact building where they are located) to pick out a stain. Ann showed me the stripped furniture and then stained the front of a small drawer to show me exactly what the stain would look like on my furniture. The work took about 2 weeks in total to complete and the furniture was delivered looking brand new. Due to the extremely dirty condition of the furniture from being in a home with a heavy smoker, I was afraid it would not be saved but I am ecstatic with the result. Some other plusses: The delivery men were great and took great care with the pieces; payment was not due until the time of delivery even though I asked about leaving a deposit; all of my phone calls were answered immediately--I never had to leave a message--which was an added benefit. This was a great experience and my husband and I are considering having some other work done. I would definitely recommend Cestaro Furniture Finishing.

He also can identify good furniture and explains what you can expect when the piece is refinished. If you have an heirloom piece of furniture that you love they will surely bring it back to life. The tables that I had restored at Heirloom Refinishing had original leather tops. The leather could not be restored, but Carlos came up with a lovely alternative in the staining process once the leather was removed. All the tables were checked for damage and repaired, stripped, stained and the hardware refurbished. When the pieces were finished they delivered them, which was included in the charge. I believe they will pick up also. It took quite a few months and is expensive, but it was worth it. My tables probably look very much as they did when they were in my grandparents' and parents' homes years and years ago. I appreciate their knowledge and impeccable work. EOK designed us a U-shaped kitchen with a sink, ice maker, 2 drawer fridge, alfresco 65K power burner, memphis pro 26 inch pellet smoker, alfresco 42 inch NG grill, and a awesome NG griddle. Will, the owner designed the most perfect layout of drawers for storage making this kitchen super functional. The team of pros built the project off site and delivered and installed in in a flash. The team worked tirelessly in the rain and long hours to complete the project in record time. The griddle EOK offers is very durable, reliable and gets piping hot. We use the griddle for smash burgers, cheese steaks, hibachi night, sausage and peppers and of course breakfast. The NG alfresco grill cranks to do direct cooks like hamburgers hotdogs, lamb chops, and the direct portion of reverse searing steaks. Our Memphis pellet grill is used as an oven with a wood smoked kiss flavor. With one button we set the temp and walk away. so wonderful! Favorite uses are to reverse sear bone in pork chops, ribeyes, smoked wings, ribs, and of course anything you would normally put in an oven as it reaches north of 600 degrees. Lately we have been doing pizzas on a steel at 550 and they have been coming out perfect. Will added a warmong drawer which is wonderful at parties to keep our rolls warm and also to throw the hot dips in or leftovers until we are ready for them at parties. Highly recommend the two drawer fridge which has plenty of room to keep your outdoor supplies like meat etc in the bottom drawer and we use the top drawer for drinks and condiments. Will found us our requested lovely black mist honed granite out of Virgina which really completes the modern look. EOK flawlessly installed a vertical cladding on the exterior which we painted with a tricorn black Sherman Williams color giving it a modern flair. Looks dope! EOK advice on everything including the layout , height, width, installation advice on electrical needs and plumbing was all totally on point and made this kitchen a comfortable place to cook. Just this weekend I cooked for 14 of my sons baseball friends and it was a breeze due to the recommendations EOK made. While we have had good experiences with Doug's Rug before, our most recent installation has been…read morenothing but frustrating. The caret pad we specified and were quoted was replaced with a lower grade pad with a less comprehensive warranty. Within 3 months of installation the seams are showing and edges of the carpet that interface with other flooring are failing. We have called multiple times to have Doug's come out to inspect and repair. They do not return calls and when we do reach them they give vague promises to schedule a visit. Over 5 months later nothing. This is in stark contrast to the irritating persistence of the woman who runs the showroom , schedules and collects payment. In our opinion, she is unrelenting and irritating when collecting money during the deposit and installation, and unreachable when there is a problem. After multiple broken promises to fix the issues we've experienced, we recently visited the showroom in Flanders. The state of the store says everything. It is a catastrophe. Messy, unwelcoming and dirty with the woman mentioned before ensconced at a messy desk in the rear not even deigning to greet a customer walking through the front door, but rather staring with an irritated "why are you bothering me" look until we engaged her. Even the face to face promise made to fix remains broken a month later. No follow up, nothing At this time we recommend avoiding Doug's Rugs at all costs. This is a huge disappointment as we strive to support small local businesses whenever we have a choice.
