After months of "surgery," it was time to send that 2016 Home Depot special to the big laundromat in the sky. Fought traffic, made it to the Henderson store around 5:30, missed my aunt (who I recently learned works there) by minutes, but found the exact washer/dryer tower I'd been eyeing--and it was on sale. Score. Mike in the showroom was great--friendly, helpful, easy to work with. Turns out they had exactly one electric unit available at the Craig warehouse. Even better. Paid up, grabbed my free basket, and was told I could pick it up before 7. So I battled rush hour across town... only to arrive at 6:15 and find the place closed at 6, with a freshly taped sign saying so. Not ideal. That said, the warehouse team came through. I walked to another door with humans behind it and explained the situation--that I was just passing through and not coming back anytime soon--and they helped get me loaded up anyway. Got a "for future reference..." (fair enough), but I appreciated them making it happen. Overall: great showroom experience, solid customer service when it counted, and I got a good deal at the perfect time. A hiccup in communication, but a good ending--and a story to go with it.

Located right off Stephanie Street. You can easily find this place and there is plenty of parking. Upon entering the store within moments, somebody approached us and introduce themselves. Sofa sectional, and they had plenty to choose from. We picked one out, and the deal was made. Honestly? It was quick and painless. Plus their 5-year warranty sounds amazing. This would be the second time we have purchased from Bob's overall, and have never been disappointed. They have plenty of finance options, and their delivery has been second to none. I would highly recommend this place. Bottom line? If you are looking for a great place to buy some furniture, and want to go a few clicks higher than Ikea, this would definitely be a place for you to check out. We also purchased the warranty for the cushions. Within 6 months the cushions began to split when people sat on it. The material was cheap and obviously not for outdoor use. I just want to add that we kept the furniture covered when not in use. We called on the warranty to get the cushions fixed and it was DENIED! After going around and around with them for months we finally called the store to buy new cushions for that set. But surprise surprise it was discontinued! We had to take them to an outside source to get reupholster which cost us another $1,500 out of our pockets, on top of the $3000 we paid for them in the first place. Very disappointed with our experience at Bob's Discount Furniture. I wish we had just driven past this store and bought patio furniture from a reputable place. Never again. We were on the verge of buying one, but decided it couldn't hurt to first drive over to this Half Price Mattress store that was only about 5 miles away, just to compare the mattresses and prices there. The name of the store had us feeling skeptical, but I had taken note of a highly positive review for them here on Yelp! -- so off we went. We are very glad that we came to this store. We were assisted by Cristina, who was friendly and informative, offering us details about the benefits and differences of the Queen mattresses she had in stock or could order for delivery within a week. We both ended up liking a particular mattress from a company we had not previously heard of, for which the price was about $4K less than the one we had nearly bought at that other store! Completing the purchase was quick and easy, and to our surprise the 3rd-party delivery driver brought it to our house only about 2 hours later that same day, and laid it atop the Ikea bed. All in all, a good experience: a very pleasant interaction with Cristina, and that evening we had our new mattress, plus we had saved a nice chunk of money. I would absolutely recommend making sure that you pay a visit to Cristina at this store when you are comparing mattress comfort levels and prices.

We attended The Oddities and Curiosities Expo in 2024 and most recently we went to the Totally Rad Vintage Fest. Both shows were huge and we found lots of great items at these shows. Lots of vendors selling their products and there is a small food court. There was an admission charge to get in, but parking was covered and free.
