I just so happen to be passing by and stopped in. If you are in the area and are looking for a nice variety of pieces to choose from, this is your place. While most things are vintage, everything looks to be gently used and in great condition. I saw an entire sink and mirror set. Bigger than it looks, fantastic vintage and consignment store in Seminole Heights. Truly something for everyone with a mix of vintage, modern, used, and new items. Vintage Post is great because it's laid out well, both in terms of walkability through the store, and displays that are pleasing to look at. The two ladies at the counter were helpful and fun to talk to. Though I wanted to buy more, I ended up purchasing Danish stainless steel candleholders, and a bar of handmade soap. I was traveling by plane and not able to safely transport the ceramic planter that was calling to me. If you live in this area, it's definitely worth a stop in! read more

Tried to park in the handicapped parking spot with my handicapped parking tag & the owner walked out and told me i cant park here & then she started calling the tow company. I feel so sorry that a company i have patronized in the past has this little sympathy for the disabled people in her community especially when the parking lot was completely empty. Place has bad ownership and is bad for the neighborhood. They make money on towing locals and lock people in the back parking lot. They are in a dispute with every local business around them. We need more cooperation here not division. read more

Consignment stores can really stow some hidden and unexpected gems in the form of furniture, knick knacks or other. And Vintage Post is by far one of the nicest consignments I've been to yet. I was beyond impressed. Everything here was really high quality. They take good care of the items in the store and it's a lot more boho/ uncommon pieces than most you see in a standard store. In this way it made it really fun to just walk around and see what all they have. The workers were also extremely friendly, and I did see that they deliver if you need or want it. I'd be curious to see how far they'd deliver items, as I live about 40 minutes away. But if you want to find some cool and different furniture for much lower prices I'd highly recommend this place! read more

visited this past week, it's a cute place with a pretty equal selection of modern and vintage furniture and items. we're newly in the market for home furnishings and wanted to check out the local stores. definitely expect to pay vintage store prices, not thrifting prices if you're gonna stop in. the store itself is spacious and has a lot to look at, it's mostly home stuff but there's little sections for clothing and jewelry too. they had a small selection of vintage drawer and door hardware too, which is what i'd most go back for if anything. unrelated to the store, a lady backed into my car with a u-haul in the parking lot and the employee who rang us up gave me a little music box i wanted to buy for free. they even tried yelling at her to stop while i was on the other side of the shop. i'd have to disagree with everyone saying bad customer service on here, lol. read more

I have just moved to Tampa this month and I was in search of a small night stand that was in my price range of $25 and I was hesitant at first to expect to find something, but I found the perfect night stand for my bed at $20. I then went and purchased an adorable nutcracker (their Christmas items are 50% off). The staff is very kind and they have so many good quality items there. This place is for the lover of all things unique whose not afraid of being bold and making statements. It's a much larger space on the inside than you'd assume from the outside. Each room I walked thru, I would exclaim "wow" at pieces I saw and loved. While all of the items and very clearly secondhand, don't expect the prices to reflect that. Nowhere in Tampa has ever made me feel like this store did yesterday. Visiting for the first time on a whim after grabbing some libations from Spaddy's next door, I had below average expectations. I mean, it says it's a "vintage" shop, but we all know that either means "junk" or "overpriced junk." Not the case here. Hubs and I were greeted warmly and told to feel free to ask the staff any questions. Normal experience so far. Then I turned the corner and saw the coolest collection of furniture and knickknacks that looked straight out of my grandparents' house. The nostalgia was real as I weaved my way through studded armchairs and sofas, charming wooden end tables, and so many other things that had definitely seen better days but could probably tell you some amazing stories if they could talk. There are some pretty worn-out pieces and many things I'd classify as junk, don't get me wrong. But to the right person, it could be a treasure. A dozen times, I stopped dead and wished I had the space to sand down and repaint a few desks, tables, and dressers, and reupholster some truly unique chairs. You just can't go to Macy's and find gems like these anymore. To my surprise, there was another huge room in the back. This one had some new pieces mixed among the old, and even they were, I thought, reasonably priced. Bars, dining room sets, mirrors, art, coffee tables, hutches, it's all there. I love a good consignment store and this place has an eclectic collection of furniture, decor, pictures and other items. I found and purchased a beautiful hutch that was still in great shape. We repainted it and it looks good as new. Some items are priced to sell and others are a bit high. It just depends on what you're looking for. They are genuinely interested in what they do and the consignment process - they were friendly the whole shopping trip and wrapped up our treasures with great care. Furniture - 5/5 for sure Clothes/accessories - 3/5 I look forward to many visits for unique homeware finds especially furniture like lamps, I wouldn't consider it a fashion resale destination. The stylish purple haired female walked near me multiple times, yet never once looked up to acknowledge this customer. Not good. HOWEVER, this vintage shop is worthy of five stars because it far exceeds all others in the Hillsborough/Pasco areas w/ regard to merchandise-- just an incredible variety of quality antiques, reproductions & other more modern items. It's truly a beautiful & festive shoppe. It's also clean, well organized & the merchandise is beautifully arranged. (Someone w/ an eye for interior design must have a hand in this shoppe coming into its own; it's found its niche.) It would be easy to walk out w/ all the necessities to fashionably fill an entire living room. And prices are reasonable. There are two showrooms filled w/ vintage home decor, furniture, lamps, clocks, paintings, prints, typewriters, clothing (limited now), jewelry, & especially mid century finds. Also available are some one-of-a-kind upscale signed paintings priced upward of $8,000. Whatever your budget is, there's probably something here for you. (Today I drooled over the truly early 1970's tall plush off white vinyl bar w/ padded back bar stools; if only I had room for the set. Sigh...) As you browse, you'll be treated to some excellent alternative music. Today City & Colour filled the store. If you've ever listened to Northern Wind, you'll know why I chose to remain in the store longer:) Just a comfortable, no pressure shopping experience. I shop at antique stores all over the state (often in the company of two former antique dealers); this store is high on my list of excellent shops. Why 5 stars? Because they have great stuff at FAIR prices! --- --- --- You know how you go into thrift/consignment shops with cool, retro furniture and decor... and you're like - wow, I could decorate my whole house with this stuff! And then, you discover the absolute lunacy of the prices. It doesn't take too long before the fun of being in the store shifts from, "Look at this great stuff!" -to- "Guess how much this 12" jewelry chest ? $439!!! What the hell is going on here??" Well, Vintage Post is NOT that! We walked all throughout the store and never once did we feel like something was priced unfairly. It's all just... normal. And it's really cool stuff too! I bought a giant, old, rustic @ sign to put on the wall in my office. I'm obsessed with it! It's perfectly themed for what I do. Who wouldn't want an @ symbol in their office? I am re-doing some things in my house, so I'm not sure where everything is going yet, but once I'm all settled, I'm definitely going back to Vintage Post for some more great stuff! What a great addition to Seminole Heights! Vintage Post Marketplace is located in the old post office on Florida Avenue, and they have utilized every last bit of space to offer unique and interesting merchandise. Because the space is so large, they have everything spread out in an organized manner so it is easy to get a good look at all the goods. I think Marketplace is such a perfect name for what they have to offer. There is a great mixture of new items and old items. The store is divided into many different vignettes, so it is easy to transition from one section to the next. There is a wonderful section of new, steampunk style jewelry. There is a good-sized section of gently used clothing, with plenty of options for both men and women. There is restored old furniture, upcycled furniture, and recycled furniture. Lots of options for home decorating. I fell in love with a gorgeous butterfly armchair, and some adorable Lenox china spice shakers - both of which I have never seen before in any store. One of the things I love about this store is the price markdown system - for every month something is there, it is marked down a certain percentage. And it shows on the tag, so it takes away all the guesswork. They have rented space out to vendors, so that should keep the flow of new items changing rapidly. This is the kind of store that every month will have completely new merchandise to browse, I imagine. Tip - make sure you wander into the back rooms - it's easy to miss those, and they have a ton of merchandise in that area. I'm afraid this store is going to be a danger zone for my wallet - I can't imagine shopping here and not leaving with something! read more

If you are looking for antique/vintage goods, and are in Seminole Heights, you will find a nice handful of stores. This is one of them. You will find jewelry, house decs, furniture, clothes, and collectibles. It is a good size store, and even has a back room filled with furniture. There's gotta be something for everyone. The prices are different depending on how long they have been sitting in the store. There is also an area for groups to paint, kind of like the other places where they have paint and sip. They have some great pieces but their customer service is nonexistent, shady even, so we won't be back. We loved it here and are extremely disappointed. We've bought several pieces of furniture, etc here. Recently, my wife decided on a cabinet, and after she paid the in-store price, she found that they had posted the same piece online for $75 cheaper! So when she called up to find out what the deal was, they were unhelpful and even rude. They would not make good on their error and weren't nice about it. My wife and I have worked in the service industry/retail basically all of our adult lives, and I cannot think of one instance where we did not honor a mistake on our end, at any company we've worked for. We ended up with the piece and were begrudgingly offered $20 off, which just went to the delivery guys anyway, as they certainly deserved it. If you want honesty, friendliness or decent customer service, there are PLENTY of other vintage/antique markets within 30min drive. read more

The store associates were so kind and were so willing to help. I was really interested in looking for a typewriter in decent condition and found one in almost perfect condition for less than $55!! I am not normally in Seminole heights, nor do I usually go to vintage stores. However, both happened after we left Generation Food Court. Vintage Post Marketplace is one among several stores and restaurants in that small area. Upon walking in I was surprised that the store was pretty large. I guess I was expecting a small-time shop. I was immediately drawn to the vintage jewelry. There were so many cool, pretty pieces. The prices seemed reasonable, but still slightly high for my budget. There were so many other cool trinkets and doodads. They had furniture, Edison bulbs, pictures, photos, clothes, shoes, dishes, and a backroom of just big furniture pieces. They also have a section for a wine and canvas-type setup (not sure if there is wine though). It was nice to see all those cool antiques, and some I recognized from my grandmother's era or even my early days. I would suggest trying it out if you are in the area. As far as buying anything, I only considered a necklace, and had more fun perusing the items. read more

This is my new favorite place to shop for unique furniture/houseware! I went here for the first time recently after visiting another event nearby. They also have a sip and paint venue at this location where you can learn to paint artwork on a canvas in a classroom setting towards the side of the store. That I have not experienced here yet. I mostly window shopped and ended up buying something eventually. The furniture selections are amazing and unique. Many of the household items feature repurposed items built together by local artists. For example, look up at the light fixture above the front cashiers counter (I regret not taking a photo of this). These are definitely conversation pieces for your home. The style of most of their items is very trendy. Some of them are on the vintage side also if that's your style. The photos featured on this site speaks for themselves. It's absolutely worth the visit. Even if you're just here to window shop like I did. read more

Such a fun unique store with an all around amazing and sweet staff. Highly recommend, they have pieces for everyone you won't leave empty handed! My personal favorite is always mid century modern and one of their co-signers pretty much brings solely that. If you're a fan of vinyls they have a nice selection to look through.
