The kabob was tender, moist chicken breast with nice flavour. The salad dressing appeared to be scratch made, somewhat like a 1000 Island. I couldn't get through half the meal. This is not like a standard lunch joint in an industrial area. Nicely decorated, bright and colourful, this place could be in a mall. If I needed to slip out to a place for a quick lunch with a business associate, this would be a top choice. They also serve breakfast, but opening at 9AM is a bit of a problem.

Service was ok but at the end of the night when we asked for the check, we were surprised that they had added "live band" fees in there which was 15 dollars per person. all and all, we had to pay for two meals and "live band" fees for two people and HST for the two of us. You can imagine for a half ass meal and all the charges worked out to be over 100 dollars. COMPLETELY OUTREGOUS. BE AWARE OF HIDDEN FEES "LIVE BAND" charges. never going back there again.

Finally, an excellent pizza place north of the city!…read more I finally got around to trying Molisana and I think we've ended our search for great pizza in Aurora/Newmarket. After working in Woodbridge for a few years, I was spoiled with a lot of good pizza options and sadly I had such a hard time finding really good pizza. This is really good pizza! You walk in and the delicious smell of pizza and tomato sauce fills your nose. It's a real treat. The space itself is clean and spacious. Last I went the seating area was closed off, I'm not sure if that has changed now that indoor dining is permitted again, but I'd say this is mostly a take-out type of place. The first time we went we ordered a slice of pizza and a veal sandwich. The pizza was reheated in the oven and it was crispy on the bottom and chewy and cheesy on the top. The sauce was a bit sweet, tart and fresh tasting which is how I like it. It was an excellent slice of pizza. The veal sandwich was also great, it comes with all the toppings except cheese which is a $1 and some change extra. We always opt for cheese but it was nice that the extras like mushrooms and peppers are included in the price. Again, this was tasty, smothered in that same tomato sauce in a nice crusty but soft bun. The second and third time we came, we called them directly to order a party sized pizza and we also tried a rosé pasta. The pizza is massive and it was only $24 + tax plus it comes with pepperoni. Additional toppings are extra. It could truly feed a party, we had leftovers for days! The rosé pasta was SO good. So rich and creamy, it was from their hot plate selection so don't expect Al Dente noodles but it was so yummy, I cleaned the dish. Again, this was reasonable for around $10-$11 and it was a large portion. Service is prompt, I've ordered twice over the phone and they've been friendly and my order was always ready and hot when I arrived to pick it up. The store also stocks a few Italian groceries and frozen items like lasagnas, pastas, and sauces. Prices seem decent considering the brands they stock, they seem to all be imported or made in house items. Overall I'm so happy to have found our new pizza place. I'm also looking forward to trying some other items like their deli sandwiches and dinner plates. As a pizza snob, this is the best we've found in the Aurora/Newmarket area and we'll keep coming back for more!

The curry chicken roll was like a large spring roll, thin wrap exterior lightly fried with small bread crumbs. The inside was a mix of potatos, curry and chicken. It was delicious and the sauce they had for the roll only augmented the flavour. Sampling the chicken roll has made us want to try the restaurant if we are ever in the area. The reviews also reflect this and looking forward to try their foods!

We were visiting Toronto for the Thanksgiving Holiday and we asked friends for a nice lunch…read morerecommendation and they recommended Romy's. This place is absolutely a gem. * Reservations: The restaurant is small so definitely make a reservation if you can. They are open only for lunch, they have take out during the day and since they are not open for dinner they have fresh prepared dishes that can be picked up for dinner with instructions on how to warm them and serve at home. * Ambiance: The restaurant is very clean and has an outstanding ambiance. * Service: The staff is extremely courteous and helpful in picking out the dishes and talking through their specials. The Chef even spent time with us. Him and his wife run the restaurant and they are a lovely couple; it is obvious they have poured their life and soul in this restaurant. * Food: The menu speaks for itself (see pic). I went there with my family and I swear I wanted to order a few dishes to try but settled on one for now. I can guarantee you that I will be back. Here is what we ordered: Appetizers - We ordered fries and the Casava Croquettes. They were absolutely to die for. For the table they brought in homemade plantain chips and casava chips. The sauce that came with the Casava Croquettes was very unique and super tasty. Mains - Peppercorn Steak Sandwich: I ordered this sandwich and I have to say it was the perfect size (not too big and not too small). The Swiss cheese was high quality and the beef was cut in bite sized chunks that complemented the sandwich perfectly. The chef had some crispy fried onions on the top which was a nice accent to the sandwich...each bite was incredible. I got the salad for my side which was tossed with a vinaigrette dressing and it was very tasty. - Halloumi Grilled Cheese: My wife ordered this with a side of salad and she thoroughly enjoyed the sandwich. - Penne with Cream Sauce (added Chicken): My 7 year old ordered this (added chicken) from the adult menu and there was only one bite left at the end. I tried the alfredo sauce and it was a PERFECT sauce - not too heavy or cheesy but very rich and tasty. - Grilled Striploin: My 14 year ordered this. The strip was not fatty and perfectly seasoned. The vegetables that came with it were crunchy and lightly seasoned (perfect amount of salt and taste) - cauliflower, broccoli, green beans, and carrots. I had to try them b/c they looked like they were cooked almost perfectly (not over done and had a great shine that they were just perfect). Desert - Apple Crumble: My kids ordered this and we tried it. It was very fresh and not overpoweringly sweet; it was great. Coffee - My wife and I ordered the cappuccino and the presentation was just outstanding I would HIGHLY recommend you try this restaurant; I know the next time we are in town we will be visiting Romy's again. A few things of note: 1) The price of the meal was totally affordable which was shocking given the quality of the meal, the ambiance, and the service. 2) This place is kid friendly; the kid's menu is attached. 3) The restaurant offers catering services for private parties. We will likely take them up on this service.

We ordered a smash burger, shrimp po' boy, fries and the potato salad. They take credit card which is great and the prices are super reasonable, all that food was $30. Definitely competitive. Your order through the back, it seems like a garage but it's a full service kitchen. The guys working there are really nice and welcoming. We waited about 10 minutes for our food, the gentleman taking our order kept letting us know our food was coming out shortly. I think they cook everything to order which is great! We ate a couple of fries in the car and they were amazing. Super fresh, piping hot, perfectly salted. Just like a fry truck. Definitely 10/10. The potato salad is also unreal, a mix of different types of potatoes, including sweet potatoes and a nice dilly, creamy dressing. Super unique but also surprisingly delicious. My shrimp po' boy was awesome also, shrimp were cooked nicely, perfect snap when I bit into them, I loved the remoulade sauce, fresh tomatoes and lettuce and the bun was nice and soft, definitely a solid sandwich. My husband got the smash burger which was juicy and messy, after a few bites though he noticed it was super raw and mushy towards the middle so he had to microwave it for a minute. We thought maybe they cook their burgers to medium but the texture was mushy and didn't seem right so we nuked it to be safe. This was a bit of a bummer to an otherwise amazing meal. We would try this again for sure, I'm not sure if the burger was meant to be like this or if it was a one-off, but after microwaving it, it was still really yummy. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family, prices are good, kind of like a food truck experience with elevated food choices. Flavours we're spot on for us, other than the burger being raw, it was super tasty.
