I personally do not write any reviews but I felt that Vinyl Ink needed my review to help others who may be considering their services. I decided to gift myself an itasha this holiday and began a custom design. The preferred installer from the designer was located in southern California and I did not want to drive my car to install the partial wrap. Jeanine and her team was very responsive and even provided quotes for different finishes. Her team was able to provide a mock up test print for color verification and provided suggestions during the measuring phase. They were able to walk me through where the wrap should start and end for the perfect installation. They were also open to providing progress photos! The overall cost was the lowest of all three installers I've talked through this entire process. Knowing that they've done vinyl work for so long, they can provide the best install! My car's been wrapped for a month and a half with no issues with the heat waves and rainy weather! read more

Vinyl Ink was amazing. My first time using their service. They did not disappoint. Everyone was professional and quick to respond. Tin and Jeanine helped me out a lot. The team was super flexible on times. I brought in my Supra (bought used) and I wanted to get PPF done. I can get a little OCD when it comes to new toys, but I could tell the PPF job done was top notch. The previous PPF done on the Supra had random cuts that were just a little lazy. Vinyl Ink's had the ppf all the way to the edge and even the splitter. So they definitely put time in for the job. The Supra's front end is not easy with the sharp lines and enormous hood. I am super happy with the PPF. It looks so good! And for the money it was definitely worth it. I cannot recommend Vinyl Ink enough. I am lucky enough to own a beautiful Tesla Model S. Although the factory dark gray color looked good, I wanted a change. My favorite colors have always been turquoise, teal, deep greens, and blues. I took my car to a Paint shop and asked them to give me a quote for the shade Key West or Tiffany blue with multi-colored flames. The price was shocking, and the shop really preferred not to work on Tesla's. Instead the shop suggested I get a wrap. I had never heard of such a thing. After looking at exotic cars with wraps, and visiting a few shops that talked about how busy they were and didn't seem to be interested in my business, I came across Vinyl Ink in Fremont. I became a customer of Vinyl Ink in 2014 and I am pleased to say I'm still a highly satisfied customer in 2021. They wrapped two of my cars, including the white matte E46 M3 you see on their website! I'm happy to say that after almost 7 years, with great care and the protection of indoor parking, the wrap on my M3 still looks fresh. On my other car (Mini Cooper), Vinyl Ink wrapped the roof and side mirrors in 2016 to give it a custom touch. I only have room in the garage for one car so the Mini is exposed to the elements 24/7/365. That wrap lasted 5+ years, which is longer than expected. I came here back in 2016 to get white vinyl racing stripes on my blue Mustang GT and they did a really good job! It's been 1.5 years since and the vinyl is still white - no discoloration and the stripes are still holding strong. It's September 2018. Stripes still look just as sexy as the day they were installed! I do keep my car garaged, but the vinyl is still holding up great! It's been 2.5 years now. At this point I'm running an experiment to see how long they'll last. I know vinyl isn't permanent but I am impressed with them. Month's before I took delivery of the car, I reached out to the shop to begin a quote. Jeanine immediately responded with a detailed quote and overview of the work they would do. As Tesla tends to do, my delivery date got pushed back and back. To my surprise, some months later she reached out to me regarding a special they were running. Professional, timely, and excellent service. I got a full vehicle wrap done with Vinyl Ink and it came out beautifully. Lots of interest from potential customers already. What's even more impressive is that they stand by their work 100%. A case in point: During the design process, I was not told that the lettering on the back of my car would be decals (individually printed and pasted block letters), rather than printed directly on the vinyl itself. This concerned me because the letters could potentially get damaged by the rain and car washes, since the adhesive could wear out and start to peel off. When I told them my concerns, they offered to provide new decals on the house if they should ever fall off. Now that's standing by your products! Case #2: About 3 months into driving the newly wrapped car, a part on the front of the vehicle started de-laminating, causing dirt to get under it. When I called, they checked it out, printed a new panel to match the original background color, and rewrapped the area. They took 2 hours out of their busy day to do it solid. I think that's top shelf service. To be fair, I think these things can happen with any car wrap process. But what distinguishes Vinyl Ink is their level of after-service to make sure that you are satisfied. So if you are looking to get your car wrapped, I would go straight to Vinyl Ink. They are serious about what they do, and I know I'll be back in the future. read more

Awesome service from Chris and Jeanine! I was trying to find a place in the Bay Area that wraps cranial helmets and was so happy to find an old Yelp photo from Vinyl Ink showing a baby's helmet that was wrapped! I loved it and quickly got on the phone to see if my son's helmet could be done. From that first phone call inquiring about it, they have been nothing but great! They kindly asked that I check with my son's orthotist to see if it was okay for me to have his helmet wrapped and after getting that green light from the orthotist, I went in with a design in mind (they make custom designs). I envisioned a design from the UP Movie with aviator goggles and I wanted Mickey shaped balloons incorporated with the house. It took them 2 weeks to put my design into fruition and I loved it. They took all of my ideas into mind and created something that was more than I expected. For the design and installation, we paid $250. It was worth it, especially since tiny helmets are not the easiest to wrap. Overall, they take great pride in their work and it shows in the final product. They've made one little boy very happy! I called Vinyl Ink with an idea for a NASCAR themed wrap for a Lemons Rally. They asked for my rough idea and I provided a few pic for a reference. They killed it. I wasn't sure exactly what to expect honestly but when I rounded the turn and saw our car all done I knew I picked the right place to have the graphics done. Yeah I signed off on the digital rendering but their work was way way better than any rendering could show. The graphics are just temporary for the rally but I'm going to feel bad taking them off when the car goes back to daily duty.
