I am disappointed with both the quality of the pool liner and the response I received from the owner following my concerns\. After approximately five years of use, the liner began developing holes in an area that receives direct sunlight\. The affected area does not appear to be sun\-damaged or "sun burnt" in appearance\. When I raised this issue, I was informed that any portion of the liner exposed to direct sunlight must be kept shaded, as prolonged exposure would cause the material to dry out and eventually develop holes\. I was also advised that the only remedy would be a repair costing over $500, along with the requirement to keep the area shaded moving forward\. I do not consider this to be a reasonable expectation\. A pool liner installed in an outdoor environment should be made of materials suitable to withstand normal sun exposure\. In my view, the issue is more likely related to the quality or suitability of the material used rather than sunlight exposure alone\. I also have concerns that the liner may have been installed too tightly, potentially placing unnecessary stress on the material over time\. Additionally, at the time of installation, we observed that the liner appeared to be significantly stretched, which further raised concerns regarding the quality of the installation work\. (Was also told this by the Coordinador Lupe) Given that I paid for a professional installation, I expected the liner to last significantly longer than five years under normal conditions\. Being asked to pay an additional $500\+ for repairs, along with ongoing requirements to shade the area, is not a satisfactory resolution\. Based on my experience, I am not satisfied with either the product quality or the customer service provided\.
