We are very happy we chose ANDERSON POOL AND SPA to remodel our pool. Our pool is 21 years old. There were some rust spots that had developed, and there were some cracks that had formed in the tiles and coping. We had several companies come out to give us estimates, but Mike from Andersen instilled the most confidence. Mikes price wasn't the lowest, or highest - it was very competitive, but like I said: he instilled confidence by coming across very honest and trustworthy. He had a good understanding of what was happening to our pool, and how to reasonably fix it. Andersen's workers always showed up when they said they would, they were friendly, polite, professional and always cleaned up after themselves each day. My wife and I contacted several pool companies in hopes of finding the right company to remodel our 50 year old pool and eyesore of a backyard. With the expense we were about to shell out, along with the construction horror stories we've all heard, major paranoia and anxiety had taken over. From day 1 Mike helped put us at ease with a no pressure sales approach. And after all the phone calls and meetings held at our home, we felt very comfortable moving forward with Mike. Mike and his crew ran a very regimented schedule: If they said demo would be 2 days; demo took 2 days. Work was done daily. There was no, "We'll be back in a few days" business here. So much in fact, the overall job was completed ahead of schedule. About 2 months. **Side note: we have a neighbor down the street who is also putting in a pool. Their company started before us and still has not finished. Costs were what has estimated, and never met with additional expenses that we did not induce ourselves. Yes, Mike is busy. You will have to understand you are not his only customer, and if he doesn't answer your phone call....He will get back to you! We found that text was a faster response, but would also end in a phone call when available. In the end, our backyard was transformed from an old dingy neglected motel pool into an inviting oasis. We added a spa, raised the pool depth from 8.5 to 5'. We went with Aqua blue micro pebble, 3 LED lights in the pool and 1 in the spa, a baja step with an umbrella slot/opening, new concrete with drainage which was something I was super excited about as I've peaked into my middle aged man homeowner stage. Needless to say, I am glad construction is over and I am glad to have my house back to myself, but I am also glad my wife and I made the right choice with Mike and his company. Had our pool and half our backyard remodeled by Mike and the team a little over a year ago. Everything was great throughout most of the process, even when we had an issue with the slide once they were completed. Had to have his crew come out a few times to fix the slide as it had a couple rough spots and would scrape your butt or legs on the way down.
