The rental agreement is really good too. If we like it we keep it at used prices not like the other box stops. I think really the browsing and talking about the different finds with each other is so much fun. Walking and talking to other people is Awesome! All the staff are super helpful and if they don't have what your looking for they will find it for you. The lines are fast so your not waiting long. Also they buff disc prior to you leaving the store. Date night, family time and just checking out what's new is where it's at here at the House of the Used!

There's a bunch of old dudes there talking to the owner about the good ol' days so that's entertaining at least. There's not much newer music to choose from unless it's stuff that a crack head just brought in. I did find a great album I had been looking for so it's not a complete waste of time.

The guy who runs this store is very helpful and really nice. His customer service is impeccable and he goes above and beyond to help music and pop culture fans out! I'm old and can't see well so before going there, about 30 miles 1 way in traffic, I decided to send an email asking if they would be interested in buying. 4 days later no response. I guess they're not interested. no response, not even, we're not buying at this time, but thanks for contacting us. Nothing. My 515 records are worth over $4000.00 but I'll sell for pennies on the dollar, all or some. If a customer isn't worth a 2-minute email response, this isn't a business I would consider reliable, trustworthy, or even shopping at.

Records are moderately priced however; they do have a 'grail' wall with a rotating selection of hard to find releases. They primarily sell vinyl, but they do have a CD section. Malcolm, Jen or Audrey will always greet you when you walk in. They'll be happy to help you find whatever record you're looking for. I have yet to be disappointed with a purchase.

I always feel like they give a really fair amount in trade credit, and somehow we always find new treasures to bring home. I especially love the board game section. It's packed with great options, though I do wish it was organized a bit more because there's so much to dig through. The kids area is wonderful too. On our last visit my daughter spent a ton of time browsing the young adult aisles and discovering new books. I only wish there was a location a little closer to us because we'd probably go even more often. No employee interacted with us while shopping or when we walked in even though there were several standing behind the counter.
