I didn't have much time to peruse the store's offerings but I loved the vibe and am looking forward to returning to shop. I didn't have an appointment but was welcomed anyway, I dropped off my records to be assessed and was told I'd hear from the owner. Only a few hours later I got a text from Doug with an offer! I purchased and paid for a vintaged toy trucks lot from Dawson Reynolds on Facebook Market Place…read moreand never received them. I contacted him and he claimed they where shipped to an eBay customer by mistake and that the package was in route to his home. He told me that he would ship them right back out to me. Once again, not receiving the vintage trucks, I reached back out to Dawson Vintage. It took some time but when he did reach back out to me, he told me that "his father had passed away and he was out of town making funeral arrangements". He promised that he would ship the trucks out as soon as he returned home, even claiming he would video tape the whole process. He also said that he would send additional pieces for my trouble. Stating, "I don't know if I would've been so understanding" To wrap it up, I never received the trucks nor a refund of my hard earned $250 and he stopped responding to me on Facebook Market Place. Not a person/business you can trust. Its truly a shame.

A great little shop crammed full of vintage and antique goodies. Only reason for 4 stars versus 5 is no air conditioning, so building gets hot at times. Unfortunately they are going out of business due to the property being sold, which is a shame. From the moment you walk in, your eyes will be amazed, bye all the vintage goodies they have here! When we first walked in, we saw all the different collectibles from vintage Gretzky dolls, to a huge vintage Star Wars section, Marvel like Thor, Captain America, Black Panther,, DC comic toys, Batman, and Wonder Woman, they also had vintage Bugs Bunny collectables like cookie jars, Vintage Barbie dolls, vintage comic books, vintage Pokémon cards. I was so excited to find vintage Disney toys and collectibles and Muppet stuff, so cool! Also Funko pop. They also have new toys and toys for all ages. And then I kept walking and I saw very old vintage toys, including snap guns and vintage hot wheel cars, the old tin metal toys from like the 40s and 50s brought back so many memories. My dad had those toys when he was a kid so cool. And then I turned the corner and all of a sudden I see Lego toys all type of vintage ones. Also vintage lunchboxes. We had a wonderful experience. We had a nice long talk with the owner sons. They were so kind and funny. They made us feel so welcome and they helped us a lot. They have a toy museum in the back which is separate from the store, but didn't get to view the museum yet, just saw a little sneak peek and it looks so cool! And the prices here are really reasonable. They really care about the customers and we can see that they had life long customers that come in. There's parking right in front of the store, and access to bathrooms with no problem. We definitely will be back our new favorite store in Sarasota!
