The waiting area has plenty of seating for clients waiting and there are two restrooms as well as an open sink area for clients and guests to use. My only critique would be that the music was a bit loud but I also could have been sitting close to a speaker. The spa scored major points for having a parking lot. This allowed for easy access and in this part of town that can be challenging to come by. The desk staff are very nice and helpful. Someone came in 30+ minutes early for their appointment and instead of making it a big deal they offered them the use of the sauna. I thought this was really great and showcased that the spa really does prioritize guest experience. The level of communication pre appointment was great and supportive. I was on a wait list for my service and was texted about an earlier opening. My actual procedure was also a great experience. The esthetician was incredibly knowledgeable and provided great insight around aftercare and follow-up. Shout out to Kristin(en) she was great and it was also her birthday. Despite arriving early for my appointment, I waited for 15 minutes past my scheduled start time before even being checked in. Then 15 minutes later, once I approached the front desk they checked with the clinical area to bring me back, the delay extended another 15 minutes once in the room waiting for the doctor. When I addressed the wait time, I was told directly that my appointment was not a priority compared to other patients and that this wasn't a cosmetic space --an unacceptable statement to make to any client -- which I was aware of. After waiting, I requested to speak with management. The ensuing interaction lacked any proactive acknowledgment of the situation but was followed up later with an apology after I explained my disappointment with the lack of expectations when it comes to waiting times. After we discussed the breakdown in customer service and I agreed to proceed with the appointment, I was informed minutes later that the doctor had moved on to another patient and I had been passed over and would have to wait another 30 minutes to be seen. In any aesthetic or medical practice, the client experience should be built on clear expectations and mutual respect. This experience was dismissive and disorganized. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
