I have a regular vape shop that I usually go to. However my dad offered to pick up a flavor for a friend of his who doesn't live near this place but likes one of their vapor flavors. So I offered to go along. This is a nice place with friendly people. They have a decent selection of flavors, but I tend to prefer places that make up my solution to order while I wait. Some may prefer a shop with all the bottles and flavors already made up, that's down to personal choice. I've been wanting to get some new hardware, so I did do some browsing and eventually ended up deciding to pick up a new vapor battery and tank. The girl who helped us was very knowledgeable about the equipment and what they had to offer. ***WORD OF WARNING THOUGH*** I offer you a word of warning. Be careful and make sure you pay attention if they offer to set up your hardware for you. I know many people might not care, but I'm pretty germaphobic. And I didn't realize that the girl asked me if she could prime the tank I was buying. Before I realized what she's asked, she had my new tank in her mouth. Again, this may just be me. But I find the very idea of doing that disgusting. I brought home the tank and bathed the metal pieces in alcohol. Not that the girl wasn't nice or whatever. She was friendly and is probably the very picture of healthy living. But I don't know her. For all I know she hits a crack pipe on her coffee breaks. And I don't care how nice you are, I'm not going to drink after, or vape after, a total stranger. Capital "G", GROSS. I'm going to assume some of the blame on that one though. She did ask, but she asked quickly and I didn't exactly understand what she was asking until it was too late. Just know that if you are as neurotic as I am, you may end up with a tank you need to clean if you buy from Violet. Other than that, the experience here was all positive and friendly. Despite my one issue, I'd still recommend this shop to anyone and it's set up like a lounge rather than just a store. The atmosphere was as nice as the staff. Okay, first things first: I actually went to the Burleson location, but since this is the only Violet Vapor listed on Yelp, this is where I'm putting my review. My experience was 100% positive. From the minute I walked through the door, the staff were friendly and welcoming. They never rushed me, encouraged me to take my time and even offered to refill their sampler tanks if I wanted to take more than the usual half dozen or so puffs on the testers. My only gripe is that some of their flavor names are a little random, give no indication of what the flavor will actually be, but when I told them the flavor profiles I like they were able to make several spot-on recommendations. Side note: if you like richer flavors, Jack's Cracker and Donut Shop are awesome! In addition to wanting to try some new flavors, I also needed a new battery. Olivia took the time to really listen to what I wanted and what I didn't want, and she picked a great one for me. She got everything set up, explained what she was doing as she did it, and made sure to tell me that I could come back if I had any questions or problems in the future. I LOVE THESE PEOPLE! The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and their selection is perfect for me (not too many juices so it's not overwhelming in my opinion). I'm also an Uber driver around the TCU area and I'm always suggesting this place to anyone who asks where I get my vapeing (is that how you spell it?) supplies from. The store is also very clean and inviting. I'll pass up every other vape shop just to get to these folks. In my opinion, this is probably the best vape shop in Fort Worth. No knock-offs, the prices are similar or lower than other DFW shops, and if you join their mailing list, they offer great specials all the time. They have three different bars set up to test flavors at your leisure, which are all well-stocked with sanitary equipment and feature delicious, well-made liquids. From what I understand, they can also provide vape stations for parties, too; I'm not sure how that works or the details on that, but the idea in general sounds pretty cool. The walls are adorned with local art, all available for sale. It's also family-run, as far as I can tell, and every employee there is friendly, helpful, passionate about the shop, and knowledgeable of the products. Violet has been my go to for over a year now, and I've consistently been pleased with the quality of product, prices (I've snagged some good clearance deals), and especially the service. I usually end up in some off topic convo with the employees after they've successfully answered all my questions & net all my needs if they aren't busy, and it's never the forced or awkward kind where you feel trapped, because the employees are legitimately cool, personable people. This is my "home" vape shop and I owe them so much for starting me on my way to being smoke free! Over the past year and a half, tho, Violet Vape has turned into a clouded , foggy vape "bar" where the smokier the better clientele have made this a place to not try out flavors and help or advice from the staff....but to puff non stop on their powerful smoke throwers to the point that once you walk in, you can not even find the sales counter....it has gotten ridiculous...too bad, was a great vape shop! read more

There is something in their juice that is poison....this is the closest shop to my home so only buy from them in "emergency" situations....but at first I thought I had gotten into some poison ivy or poison oak....my head broke out in whelps....had to treat with medicine type shampoo...several months later, , not realizing it was the violet vapor juice causing this reaction I purchased another bottle of juice...the now cleared up reaction returned within days.....still not realizing it was the juice, I went thru the samr treatment to clear this reaction up......after about 4 months without buying from them, all was well. But the 3rd time I purchased their juice....the rash came back with a vengeance ,,,,it has been about 6 months since purchasing and can say without a doubt, the violet vapor juice was causing the rash. I give this place 0 stars....the service was terrible...they underminded me because i didnt have some fancy vape...80% of the testers didnt work so they said i could try the flavors by tasting them on my finger...they lied to my pregnant wife about the nicotine content just to make a sale...she was looking for 0 nictine and the told her that none of the testers had nicotine. That they were just the flavor...they poisoned my unborn child. My husband just returned from buying fluids at Violet Vapor. I was extremely concerned when he informed me that one of the employees told him to TASTE the fluid when he asked if he could put a drop on his mod to try it out. When he told her no that it wasn't safe, she assured him that all the ingredients were natural and nothing would happen. Thank God my husband is not an idiot, because nicotine when ingested can cause heart attacks. What's more is people take their children in there. An adult will know that if they are going to risk ingesting the fluid, to only try a tiny drop, a child won't. All it takes is for a child to see one adult do that for them to try it as well, especially since they would have heard people saying things like "That tastes good!" Or for some teenager wondering if they can get high from drinking a bottle. With the employees saying things like "It's perfectly safe. All natural ingredients. It's things like this that give anti-vaping organizations ammunition for their campaigns. Worst vapor store I've ever been in!!!!! I went into Violet Vapor yesterday for the first time. The employees are rude, not helpful at all and do not listen. I specifically told them I wanted premium juice, when I asked about a certain product line, they told me they didn't carry it and suggested a house blend. Once again I told them I wanted premium juice, the employee handed me a Rolodex of flavors, told me to flip thru that and walked off. When I asked about two flavors in the Rolodex, they told me they didn't carry those???? The entire time, they crossed their arms and tapped their feet as if they had more important things to do. I asked the employees their names and they laughed and asked me why I wanted to know? I left feeling disrespected. Of all the stores I have been too, this is the worst, by far.
