Customer service was great. The shop is very busy but service is great. I brought my car asking for brakes and an oil change. The mechanic was honest enough to let me know I didn't need brakes instead of just doing unnecessary work and charging me for it. Took my vehicle in to replace the driver's side motor mount. VIP called and told me my vehicle was ready. Took my vehicle home to inspect the work. Crawled underneath my truck. First thing I noticed were two nuts, one on each side of the truck frame, appeared to be bolts they had to remove for the mount replacement. These nuts were shredded, if you have proper tools the nut should never be torn up. Then I looked up at the motor mount, the heat shield on the mount was missing, this is an important part of the motor mount. Plus I paid $200 for a complete motor mount. This shield would have to be cut off or ripped away from the rivets that hold the shield to the mount. I called VIP and they told me to bring the vehicle back to see if they can put the shield back on, this is not possible, the shield was removed from the rivets. Then I was told that the mechanic took the shield off because it made it it easier to access the bolts to the engine. What mechanic would ever take a heat shield off a motor mount then think you can put it back on. VIP AUTO. Then give the vehicle back to the customer. So they replaced it with a new motor mount. When I got home I noticed the heat shield was on but only being held on with the top two rivets, the side of the shield was pulled away from the rivet. Over the past several days I noticed my steering wheel had a lot of play. I know one of the ways to get at the motor mount from the engine bay is to remove the steering shaft. Sure enough I look at the steering shaft and see VIP signature torn up nuts on the steering shaft. Also a bracket on one of the bolts was upside down and the other bolt was put in the wrong way. So there is no doubt they removed my steering shaft, possibly causing damage that I will have pay to repair. Not to mention possible safety issues. I know this for a fact because I have before and after pictures of my engine bay. I can not believe a repair shop would ever do this to a customer. Now I have to go to another mechanic to see what the problem is with my steering. This is totally unacceptable. I see a lot of five star ratings. My advice is to check their work, also go somewhere else. I have zero confidence in their work. read more

Being a young Woman driving a high end performance Jaguar XJL many times I've had the experience of being taken advantage of when getting a simple oil change or even my tire repaired or replaced. Several weeks ago I went to VIP auto care to get my driver door motor replaced and I can say for the first time I had a wonderful experience getting my car serviced. The business is family opened and operated and the two young brothers running the front were very informative in explaining what was needed and why detail. I felt informed & more importantly I felt safe in trusting their expertise. Today as I was driving in the pouring rain, my tire blew and I immediately drove straight to VIP auto care at 3 mph on a prayer. They took me in right away and I was able to meet Walter who I believe is the owner and the father of the two younger brothers running the front. I can tell Walter is the skilled automotive professional running the service part of the actual facility. Once again I had a great experience as I explained to Walter I wanted to watch him put on my spare so I could learn how to change the tire myself in case of a future emergency... he then began explaining to me how trying to change my tire on my own on the side of the road would require special tools because of my custom tires rims aka wheels. Once the the spare tire was put on Walter made the recommendation that I do not do too much driving as it is not safe to drive too far or too long with a spare tire on. I can say with much gratitude I felt like a family member was telling me to be cautious and careful. VIP auto care definitely stands behind their integrity and exceeding your customer service expectations. I appreciate the time that they took with me as well as the sincerity in making sure my safety was a concern. Mat connected my car to the computer and was able to reset the warning ( Gas cap not properly secure ) and I was able to drive out within minutes. This family run business is an honest, quick and no BS type of auto care mechanical. In the past these guys have helped with technical issues, simple oil changes and small body repairs. While most mechanics give you the run around, make up issues with your car, overcharge and prey on customers who don't know what they are talking about VIP Auto Care is more concerned with getting your problem solved and solving it quickly. Even when they are super busy and packed they still manages to get me in for a quick oil change and also changed a filter for a very good 20 bucks (I bring my own oil). The first time I brought my g37 to them he told me I didn't need to do anything for 6 months, most macanics would "have some problem that had to be fixed right away" lol .. not them they said I was good and sent me on way and to stop back in 6 months. Single mom, Looking for a great mechanic, Read the reviews, decided to give them a try. Car was brought in with a specific issue.... white smoke. First impression, they were nice, attentive to my complaints. However, the issue was not diagnosed properly and made to be a minimal repair , 3-4 visits later over 3 months complaining about the same issue and spending over $400.....the transmission is bad on the car and not worth the repair. Sorry, Im not an expert on cars but I would figure a diagnostic could have provided a code and gave insight on the issue the 1st or 2nd visit. Have not returned and will never recommend. read more

Return customer-- see remarks (7/6/20). I took a 2008 Honda in for engine work. As per usual a quality fair priced product resulted. I asked if they did body work. They didn't, but worked with a company they recommend highly. They also work with a towing company and perhaps other companies. Be sure to inquire as your needs arise. My 2008 Honda with only 30,000 miles had numerous rust spots, rubber molding around the windshield that was breaking up, the spare tire well had heavy rust from a leak they found coming from the car antenna and headlights that were foggy. I got back a freshly painted spectacularly looking car with no rust, new windshield molding, sparkling headlights that were wet sanded, a spare tire well that was remade and in general a car brought back to life for a very fair price and first rate work by a first rate staff. VIP Auto Care is now about 100-200 yards west of where they were for years. They have twice the space, So plenty of space to handle your auto needs now or in the future. I've always found them to be honest, fairly price jobs and provide quality results. read more

I can't tell you what a great experience we had at VIP auto care. I came across a flyer in one of my local hometown magazines and it just so happen to have the coupons for what I was looking for. I needed my air-conditioning fixed an oil change I also had some dash lights on that I didn't know what was going on with them. They excepted the coupons graciously fix the AC with no problem changed the oil and fixed my lights all at the coupon prices and very reasonable. Great service great customer service. I walked into VIP Auto Care for a bulb for a brake light. Even though I am a handy gal, I am always apprehensive as to how I will be treated. These gentlemen not only gave, yes, gave me the bulb, but when I showed them the rubber around the light cover and asked how I should put it back on, they siliconed it for me and showed me exactly what to do. Honestly I haven't seen this kind of courtesy in a very long time. There is hope for humanity!
