Alfredo Accosta ripped me off. He is a scam artist. He never gave me an estimate & I never signed anything prior to him doing work on my car, violating the motor vehicle repairs act. He refused to give me a receipt for work he said he did to repair my car. In fact he told me he would do the labor but would not put it in writing. He claimed he could only sell me parts at his cost and would pretend he didn't install them so he wouldn't warranty his work. In other words he pretended not to have installed the parts or do any labor to my vehicle at all. And therefore he said he would not warranty the labor. He ordered parts for my vehicle and installed them without giving me a receipt or warranty. He also claimed he was selling me the parts at his cost but I was able to find out where he ordered the parts from and exactly how much he paid. He completely lied, triple charged me, price gouging me and the repair ended up costing me more than my own reputable Volkswagen dealership would have charged and they would have warranted their work & actually repaired my car. When I drove out of Broward Bimmers my car still had the same exact coolant leak that I came in with. Of course Alfredo verbally claimed to have fixed it and harassed reprimanding me harshly me for asking reasonable questions about my vehicle. He told me he was the professional and I needed to leave him to his work and shut my mouth. He never did a pressure test on the system to see where the coolant was leaking from. He just ordered a random part and replaced it without even knowing if that part was Where the coolant was leaking from it IF it was also leaking from other parts as well. It was & he never bothered to check Never repairing the leak. After replacing the coolant pipe he never pressure tested the system to see if I still had a coolant leak and I drove out of there with the same exact same leak that I paid him $200 to fix. He made a huge profit and barely spent any money on parts lying to me about selling me parts at his cost. I asked him many questions so I could educate myself, But being that I'm a woman or simply because he wanted to rip me off he became extremely agitated and angry at me for questioning him, telling me that he was the professional and I didn't need to know aa a woman. He was extremely agitated and annoyed for the questions I asked and told me to shut up. He wanted to be respected and not questioned. He also forced physical affection upon me, telling me he was attracted to me and wanted more but would settle for groping me inappropriately in his shop office. He made me feel if I didn't continue to be friendly towards him that he would not finish my car & I was afraid I was going to be left with parts hanging off my car. It was such a hateful experience. He refused to let me use a credit card to pay So that I could prove I paid. He would only let me pay cash telling me he wanted to do the work under the table for this supposed amazing discount he was giving to me which was actually more than my own Volkswagen dealership would have charged me for this repair and therefore he refused to give me a receipt because he said he was not going to warranty the Labor he did. Further he told me he would deny having done the labor at all which is why I ended up taking pictures of him working on my car so that I could have proof since he would not provide me any or warranty the work and of course his work was horrible. He never pressure tested the system for coolant leaks otherwise he would have known it was still leaking when I drove out. He never even checked the coolant level! Instead He asked me if I had checked it and so he never bothered to do any of the testing. He also used the coolant that I had brought because he was too cheap to use the coolant he had in his shop telling me it was "very expensive". I ended up just throwing away $200 cash in the garbage for the repair that was not done properly. Unecessary parts were replaced and/or the parts that WERE leaking were never assessed or fixed So there was still a leak. When I contacted him to tell him he had not repaired the damage he told me to basically go F myself. He did not care. He told me to go ahead and report him and said he didn't care. Do yourself a favor and go to a reputable shop that follows the laws, gives written estimates, warranties their work, treats women with respect, charges fairly, will happily educate the customer and doesn't try to grope women.. offering fake groping discounts while you're actually being overcharged. read more
