The person who came out to assess our situation was Adel, and he was easy to connect to and trust. His answers were always knowledgeable and had reasons. He assessed that two of the windows I was replacing were incorrectly installed in the first place, which did not surprise me because whoever lived here in the 90s was a real do-it-yourselfer with more ambition than skills. So those two needed a "rebuild," but our bay windows were fine with a less expensive "replace." Once I signed the contract, the next person to come out was Kevin and he took very specific measurements and also rang with credibility. I was pleased to learn that many of the Window Guild employees have been with them a long time, which speaks well of the organization even if it was sold once. On install day, some new guys came out to get started, and they were also pleasant and professional. Kevin came out a few hours later to provide senior supervision, so this was not at all like having the senior guy sell the work but have nothing to do with getting it done. As it turned out, they needed a second day because we didn't know if my second rebuild was going to need some dryrot work (because it had been leaking) and they didn't want to start that late in the day. They came back in a week and it was just fine. The windows are beautiful to look through and we can already tell they are so much better insulated than our old ones. They are Milgard windows and come with their lifetime warranty, which is better than what Andersen Windows gave us when we used them for other ones.

You can tell they take pride in their work. The installation was clean, precise, and handled with real care given the age of the structure. What stood out most was the follow-through. Vito came back afterward to swap in black hinges to match the look we wanted, no hassle. Overall, great experience from start to finish. We originally contacted them about a patio slider and they provided the best quote, focusing on quality and what we wanted, and service. We asked them for additional help with another project that we were doing ourselves. They helped us resolve the issues we had with a different leaking window and door. They caught several problems with the advice and plans we'd been given, which saved us from long-term issues, so we ended up expanding the scope from just the patio to a door and window with them. They cleaned up all of shattered glass from deck and surrounding areas. The installation went smooth with no problems. Sergio & Chris replaced (2) Living Room window. However due to some measurement issues, there were some challenges on obtaining correct sizes. The issue escalated to Katie & Dee which made situation 'right'. Brad is a very nice guy, informative and prompt to arrive to measure. Was told possibly 2 weeks to have them fabricated. No update for another 3 weeks until I called him, was told another week or so to complete fabrication. So just like the other negative reviews I felt that it would be the same story for me, another week and so on. This negative review is in no way a criticism of the quality of Brad's work, no doubt he does good work according to the positive reviews, just needs to communicate better, shouldn't be too much trouble to keep customers up to date on a job status.
