This photo was taken after the second attempt. Needless to say, I left that salon and immediately went elsewhere to have them removed and re-applied. Again, maybe they were just having an off day. I've been getting my nails done professionally for more than 15 years and don't expect perfection. But when you're paying for a salon service, the end product should look a whole lot better than that.

You can have a complimentary glass of wine if you request it. I usually don't care for what they have on television and think they would do better to just play some calming jazz or something contemporary instead of the tv chatter. The techs are pretty consistent as well. I have maybe had 1 or 2 visits in memory that I wasn't completely comfortable with a tech or felt that the final product didn't meet expectations. I have never stuck with a nail place as long as this though and I don't intend on shopping around as long as I stay living in Sanger. Price point is normal if even a bit cheaper than competitors. Hours are also good and they are open later hours as well which has saved me once or twice as I work long hours too.

Despite having an appointment, I sat in the chair for 20 minutes before anyone even started my service. I had already explained that I was on a time constraint, yet the appointment ended up taking 2.5 hours. Because of the delay, I missed the important event I had scheduled after my appointment. The entire reason I made an appointment was to avoid this exact situation. When I explained how disappointed I was and how their lack of respect for appointment times caused me to miss my event, the only resolution they offered was a $5 gift card. It felt less like they cared about making things right and more like they wanted me to stop bringing up the issue. What was even more disappointing was that the owner refused to speak with me directly. The employee told me, "I know you'd like to talk with him, but he is refusing." As a customer, that was incredibly unprofessional and showed a lack of accountability. Appointments should mean something. If a business cannot honor appointment times, they should communicate delays honestly or avoid booking customers so closely together. My time is just as valuable as theirs. Unfortunately, this experience made me feel that customer service and respect for customers' time are not priorities here. There are many other nail salons that value their customers and their time, and I would recommend choosing one of those instead.

She made sure I liked the color and shape throughout the process and my nails turned out fantastic! Vivian did my pedicure and was wonderful as well and did a great job. My mom also had a pedicure with Lynn and she had the same great experience. They were so fun, singing, getting to know us and making it a great experience. After adding the fake nail, he clipped them while rushing and several times nearly cut my skin because of how fast he was going. In the middle of applying the acrylic, he stopped my service to help other customers who walked in. I understand helping other clients, but I had to wait about 15 minutes for him to come back and finish my toes. When he returned, he didn't fully file off the excess acrylic. There is still a noticeable blob of acrylic on the underside of my pinky toe. The entire time he seemed visibly annoyed to even be doing my feet. Keep in mind I paid $55 for this service. At the end, he washed my feet with extremely hot water and then had me sit at the drying lamp. I was there for about 15 minutes and no one told me when the drying time was up, so I eventually just left. Shortly after, the nail polish chipped. Had my first trip to Fancy Nails today and was extremely happy with the entire visit…read more I was immediately greeted when I walked in and The attendant, Nancy, didn't speak very much, if any, English, but she was very polite all the same. She spent almost an hour on my feet and calves and was very thorough but gentle. She didn't make me feel like she was in a rush. Nancy also did a gel manicure, and was also very thorough and did not rush - she re-checked my nails several times to make sure they looked good and checked with me several times to ensure that I was happy with the quality. Also, I had a very sore spot where I had ripped my cuticle and she was extremely careful around the area and was very gentle. As a previous review stated, the only real negative I found here was that they don't have a very extensive selection of polish and a lot of them are old. Also, I had a previous coat of gel polish on that needed to be removed and while receiving my pedi, I was told to soak my fingertips in a bowl of acetone. Maybe this is common to do, but I'm used to the nail tech placing acetone-soaked cotton balls on my nails and then wrapping them in foil and letting it sit. This way, you aren't soaking your entire fingertips in acetone which makes them very, very dry. I had my hands in the acetone for around 40 minutes, but they seem fine now. I just found it odd. I highly recommend Fancy Nails if you are looking for an inexpensive mani/pedi with employees who are attentive and talented.

I got there at 12:50 and they told me to pick a nail polish. I waited for 30 mins before anyone even said anything to me. They proceeded to move me to get my pedicure done. 30 mins later at 2pm I'm still waiting, my gunfire nails are not done. At this point I'm late for class and frustrated because they are attending 2 white girls that I came before. I was very patient because I didn't want to cause a scene. At 2:30 a guy that works there tells me he's doing my nails, keep in mind I requested for Mimi but I have spent too much time in there already so I just ignored it and sat down. He starts doing my nails and ask me if I like the length and I told him it was too long so he cuts it down. From a coffin shape to a square so I told him to shape it back to a coffin and he said alright he will later. 5 mins into putting the acrylic on he asked me if I like the shape, keep in mind he still hasn't filed it.. I told him not really to be polite and he starts cutting them down . I'm sitting there thinking he's redoing them but he tells me " we are not good enough for you, you should go somewhere else' and he kicked me out leaving my nails like this (pic). I asked for the manager and she ignored me and I have never been disrespected like this and it made me cry all the way home. I did nothing but come get my nails done and I will never come here again and I will make sure I let everyone know about my experience.
