It was discovered that my 12 year old cat Pippin had a belly full of cancer. They did everything they could to prop him up to try to give me a few more days with him. When it came time to say good bye, as difficult as the entire process was, they treated it as a very solemn occasion, ushering us into a room as soon as we entered the door. They're on point when it comes to wellness as well. Staff are knowledgeable (I was there and heard one on the phone with an owner whose dog went into heat for the 1st time and needed to be talked off the ledge) and compassionate. I don't expect to be a pet owner for a number of years, but thank you, Dr. Alina, for being SO kind and gracious to Pippin as well as myself. I'm happy for you that you're moving on. This practice, very fortunately, has other amazing vets but you WILL be missed.

Of course, because of the pandemic we had to stay in our car. That was when a staff member came out and said they had an emergency come in and that our dog couldn't be seen. When we told them ours was an emergency as well they told us to come back in two days... HE HADN'T PEED IN 24 HOURS!! Luckily we took them to a vet in Central Square as the vet there said he would have died if we waited. Being vets they should have known better and been able to handle more than one emergency. On a side note that Trump Review seems like a total jerk and I'm sorry you had to go threw that. While I am no longer fond of this clinic we are all still human and shouldn't be treated like that.

Well now he has retired and a new company has taken over. On my first visit with the new company, i brought my Himalayan cat, Yoshi, in for a grooming, I've brought him in several times over the last two years for grooming and I've never had an issue. Well this time was different. I pick him up and pay for the service (he is in his crate) and I proceed home. As soon as I get him home I notice something wrong with his eyes and he is acting lame. I immediately call them and ask if he was given a sedative or anything for the grooming. I am told they didnt and he is just stressed and to give it 24 hours to go away. 24 hours later its still an issue so I bring him back in. The new vet there takes one look at him and says "Oh dear, he has a concussion"... I immediately ask him what could have caused this during a standard grooming and he tells me he isnt sure but that he will talk to the groomer and review security cameras. A week goes by before i get any call back only to be told that there are no cameras in the grooming room and the groomer said nothing happened. Well obviously something had happened, he has never had a concussion before this. They then proceed to monitor him (at no charge) and even pay another vet to look at him as he is recovering. I then talk to the office manager who tells me there is nothing they can do and the new vet, Dr. Honeyset, has the nerve to look at me in the face and say "well you have no proof we did anything wrong here." Obviously I will never be taking any animal back to this place for any reason but I strongly encourage anyone who still uses their services to keep an eye on your pet. At the moment I cant remember the groomers name but the fact that she hasnt been removed after allowing an animal under her care to have trauma to the brain, for whatever reason, is completely unacceptable. On top of all that for a vet to look at me in the face and say, well we dont have cameras set up so you have no proof, is disgusting. With service like this, I cant imagine they will have the same success Dr. Davis had when he ran the business. The picture I posted is of Yoshi when I got him home and noticed the issue.

Took our Rhodesian Ridgeback there forever. The last two years we complained that he had lumps on…read morehis body asking what they were from. Then he developed a severe limp and they put him on gabapentin, again we called and repeatedly brought him in for exams and consistently called about him having a problem with the drug not helping him. At this point I insisted on xrays and ultrasound be done, they had us do bloodwork and told us if we paid an extra $89 for an official pancreatitis test that would be definitive diagnosis that would give us the result that we needed. They could not perform an ultrasound so we had to take him to the emergency vet on Bridge Street in a Syracuse. Come to find out our dog did not have pancreatitis as the vet said the blood test revealed but had full pledge lymphoma, (his neck and jaw presented with hard nodules by the ex vet) and we had to put him down. The emergency vet said the blood test that Stacks office gave us for pancreatitis was not a definitive test for that. So which is it? So disgusted with the lack of concern given toward our dog. It wasn't until i insisted on testing because I was concerned of cancer that a closer look was finally given by the Stack Vet. Extremely upset that we had to put our dog down. Think twice about going there. They gouge you for pricing and never addressed his health until i threatened legal action.

Even when they are booked for traditional appointments, they do offer drop offs meaning you drop off your pet in the morning and then the vet sees them between appointments and they give you a call when they are ready to be picked up.
