Planet fitness, zx fitness to name a few. I have tried various diets and weightlifting programs, but none of them ever seemed to produce great results. Recently I decided to consider personal training to see if it would help me finally achieve my fitness goals. I called up JustFit and spoke with Alan and decided to come in for a free fitness evaluation. When I arrived at JustFit I didn't quite know what to expect, but I was very impressed with everything. His training facility is impeccable, clean and well organized. His training staff are professional and courteous. The equipment is in excellent condition and the environment is very conducive to getting a great workout. What impressed me the most though was the fact that they really listened and cared about helping me set a goal for myself and also helped to put together a customized plan to help me get there.. I hadn't worked out in over 2 years, I ate pizza for breakfast and worked at an office job.... Being mobile really wasn't my thing. After getting a physical where my blood pressure and cholesterol put me at risk for some health issues, I decided to make a change. I didn't know where to start but I decided to try Charlotte RIPS. Right away, Vito was very knowledgable and helped me feel comfortable by walking me through the process of what to expect and what was expected of me to see results. I've never been a gym rat but this is a place that I truly enjoy. It's only been about a month but already my overall health has improved and I'm starting to see results. If you want to be in a workout environment that strives to empower you to work towards your goals whatever they may be, as well as start your journey towards a healthier lifestyle then I would recommend this place. I have…read moretried just about every type of workout imaginable (running, crossfit, yoga, kickboxing, pilates, barre, spin, bootcamp, etc etc), in dozens of cities in the U.S. and internationally. The coaching and programming at MINT is second to none, and Kristen and Jay have created an incredibly warm, encouraging atmosphere at MINT. I always struggled with double-unders, never able to get more than two unbroken or do singles between the doubles for more than a year. I literally had one PT session with Kristen, and after practicing the drills she showed me for a couple of days, I was able to do 15 unbroken. The list goes on and on--she also coached me to my first true kipping pull-ups, and working with her on deficit handstand push-ups on a box got me from two ab mats to being able to RX hand-stand push-ups against a wall within a few weeks. She is so perceptive to the needs of individual athletes, and has an in-depth understanding of body movement. Every single training session is incredibly fulfilling, valuable, and just plain fun! The instructors are great, the workout is hard, but what makes it so hard to love this place is the owner. Instead of caring about his members and their enjoyment of the gym, all he focuses his time on is scamming his high-paying members on late charges. So if I add myself to a waitlist, and someone drops out at midnight, and now I've made other plans - thinking I can't get in this class - he CHARGES YOU! Get this, you're next in line... you actually go and fill the spot, HE STILL CHARGES ME! #MoneyGrab The owner's waitlist policy is disgusting, it's cheap and it's disgraceful. I've contacted my credit card company and the BBB as this is the 3rd time I've attempted to reason with him on this fraud. He couldn't care less and enjoying milking his members for all their worth. $22 is charged to you if you're on a waitlist and even say NO I can no longer attempt!
