I'm typically not a whisky drinker, but when I heard "flight", I was instantly into it. These are three mini carefully crafted cocktails. I have never seen such attention to detail of miniature cocktails. The first one is "Don't Be So Bitter", this one is a bit bitter, but so tasty. I enjoy bitter fruits. The fresh lime juice and the orange peel are contributors to the bitterness here. The next one was "Cardy Days" here we have the cranberry juice, Cardamom Syrup, Spiced Cocoa Bitters, topped with Star Anise. This one was pretty sweet, but delicious nonetheless. The final cocktail was "Assam Nights", this one was my favorite! This one was super flavorful. Here you've got, assam black tea, ginger beer, gin, peach bitters and candied ginger. Assam nights came with a straw so you could reach the liquified ginger! The space is so fun inside. They had groups of people meeting for happy hour, and playing card games. The best part? They handcraft their gin, brandy and whisky in house! You can also buy local honey and maple syrup! I loved my time at Catoctin Creek Distilling Company! They make the tastiest cocktails, that may have converted me into a whisky fan. And they have the kindest people working there! When I'm back in town I'll be sure to stop by again!
