This was a big deal to me because I had done enough research to know what I needed and about how much it would cost to repair. I don't like paying a service fee for a visit because I want to meet the people doing the work and have a conversation first, which is a waste of money if I am charged and don't feel confident in their approach or ability. Harry was the installer, and he was fantastic. He clearly communicated his suggestions, discussed options with me, and worked efficiently. I about hit the floor and called him out but he said that's the cost. So I wouldn't get the cops called on me, I paid it, and was going to call the manager to get it squared away. I ended up speaking to Robert who is the owner of the Ashland branch and explained to him that I was expecting a $70 quote not a $600 bill and the garage door was still not working. He said I signed a contract, but I called him out on that because I never signed anything and he admitted to the tech drawing line through my signature spot. Fraud? He then even agreed that I should've got a quote first, and even told me I should've refused paying and called him directly ( impossible to get a hold of anybody at that company as they use a third-party ). I requested half of a refund which I thought was generous. He strung me along for a month and I could never get in touch with him. I had to even fake a tech call from my wife's phone number to actually get a call from him. In the end, he blamed the company owner on not giving me any sort of refund. Absolutely horrible service and borderline illegal. I've submitted a formal complaint to the Better Business Bureau of Virginia to have them handle it.

Brian is a nice guy and I hate to review him like this but his work is horrible. First off…read moreinstalling went off schedule because of the supply house which I would understand but not with the other circumstances. It took a month longer to install then originally planned. There was always something that came up. I was understanding because I'm not in a hurry but I would have to call him, he never called me. He installed the wind braces crooked which I mentioned on the walk thru but besides drilling more holes in the door my options were limited. Then I have been trying to get him back here to fix the hinge he missed(shown in picture) the wheel that is in the wrong hole(shown in picture) and extend the outside trim down. He was supposed to show up multiple times and has never shown up. While doing a detailed audit of the install I noticed he installed old hinges on my new door. That is not what I payed for. Do not use this company.
