Many unique treasures to discover in the greenhouse, outer statuary, and inside the novelty store. Major standouts are the Corinthian chimes which are enormous and sound just like church bells. The proprietor reminded me a lot of my late/great father and it was comforting to hear him talk about plants and windchimes (two of my Dad's favorite things in life). My husband and I were looking for a few potted plants today and are thrilled with our finds. My kitchen window sill, living groom piano corner, and little outdoor flower bed all got an upgrade today. (See pics of what we brought home; repotting is happening later). We were amazed at how reasonably priced everything was and feel we got a fantastic deal at $33 for a hefty (unique) potted plant, some cute annuals and a couple pretty little succulents. I highly recommend Sunnyside nursery, and I personally look forward to getting back there when the need arises.

Meadow farms did not carry it as well. Pine strawreally dresses up your beds much better and I believe it keeps the weeds down better than pine bark mulch. Bobby was extremely helpful and I was impressed with the quality of the pine straw. The price was a whole lot cheaper that I had already priced out elsewhere . I had asked about Japanese beetle infestation, and how to prevent it. Bobby took my phone number down and later Jim called me.I could not believe how knowledgeable he was about the Beatles as well as roses. This is definitely now going to be my go to nursery! 5 STARS!

Once again - what's not to love about this little place! We consistently visit every year during…read morethe Culpeper Harvest Days Farm tour, & this year was no exception. Beautiful gardens, the two same friendly dogs still in residence, lots of herbs & native plants for sale, & informed owners more than willing to share their knowledge. Came away with a lovely native aster & a culinary sage this time. Last year's purchased native aster morphed from a one-footer when planted last fall into a 3-foot tall x 4-foot spread gorgeous cloud of tiny lavender blossoms a couple of weeks ago (& still going strong!), so am looking forward to planting another slightly different variety next to it for an additional show next fall. And the six different columbines I purchased last year also put on a glorious show this past spring, & their reseeded seedlings are popping up everywhere, which I love to see. All in all, a lovely little spot to pick up nice native or culturally-positive-to-the-area plants, as well as enthusiasm from the owners.

The plants had expired & we gambled and attempted to return them 10 days past the warranty. The young lady took the plants back and assisted us and advised us in terms of our options moving forward. I additionally contacted the owner Jo in reference to some landscaping work and he advised me that he is booked until next month. By booked he meant unavailable to give an estimate until next month. If there is a knock against Heaven's Garden their plants will be a little smaller than you'd fine in a "Non" Organic Nursery. Last year when they were less busy, Jo walked us around and gave us useful tips on how to plant our brush. The young lady this time explained that even when you do everything right factors like wind, soil acidity, mulching, and fertilizer deficiency can play a part in failure.

Running short on time, it was suggested I try Heavens Garden, as it was much closer to home. I called, and was given directions and told the lady what I needed, i.e. compost, gloves, and most importantly on this trip, Peonies!! I told her i would be right down. When I arrived I was met at my truck by this very friendly woman, who said, "you must be the Peonie lady!" lol! As she was walking me to the "Peonies" I was looking around..very well kept grounds, and all areas of interest were clearly marked with signs telling you what type of plants could be found there. They even had areas marked, "Sun Loving", "Shade Loving" ect.. I was particularly impressed with the ornamental trees...all trees, and plants were extremely healthy and robust. I was told they grow all their wares on the farm just next door, and that it was a family operation. I was really happy with the knowledge, and the attention to customer satisfaction given to me. Loved my experience, and hope everyone gives this hidden gem a try! Kudos to Heaven's Garden!
