I saw mostly brand new wrapped records and they have a small section in the back for used good quality records. I will return.

All were used (and all were in great shape upon arriving). Pretty freaking cool for $85 (includes shipping), for 13 records, that I genuinely enjoy and look forward to listening to again. I was really pleasantly surprised at how many records they had on the cheap that were in my wheelhouse. The descriptions on the website were very helpful, letting me (the buyer) know the condition of the record, if it came with an insert/poster/whatever, and if it was colored. Sometimes even more info than that. These guys and gals know how to vinyl. The guy I communicated with at Vinyl Conflict through email (Bobby) was really cool and didn't care about last-minute additions to my order. Packaging was great too upon receiving it. No, I don't need any new additions to my collection but I NEED to keep looking and buying (I bought about 12 or so LPs yesterday at Plan 9). I have a collection of (vinyl) records to rival most - over 15,000 plus almost as many CDs. I have thousands of 7 inch records. I'm 79 years old and I have most of the records I really want, but I love to continue the search. I love the experience of flipping through records. And Plan 9 is the best place (with the possible exception of Memory Lane) to do that. I spent an hour or so there yesterday morning and found things I don't need but like. I collect mostly Rock 'n' Roll, Folk, Jazz, Country, R&B/Soul but I am fascinated with the easy listening LPs of instrumentals and vocal choirs covering 60s and 70s popular music. The kids might call it "Exotica", but I call it easy listening. Plan 9 has it all - inexpensive to ridiculously expensive - Jazz, Easy Listening, Rock, Country, Soul, Hip-Hop/Rap, Folk, Local music. They also sell records and have a bargain section for $1 by the register, but those have to be paid in cash. I saw a lot of great books there and was able to find a Wally Lamb book. There were tons of books for such a small space and the books are fairly priced.You can bring books to sell, but only until 4pm. It is worth a visit.

They were playing good music there and the decorations were actually so cool. They had cassette tapes, CDs, and vinyl. They had guitar lying around, though I tried to avoid touching them just in case they were for display only. The value for these albums were perfect. They had sections for 5$ records, and some for 1$ records. The most expensive one I got was rubber soul for 20$! They had lots to see. It was awesome. I will definitely be coming back. They even have a decent number of CDs although they are priced higher than many Goodwills. Staff seems to be all volunteer. The staffer I encountered really knew his books like nothing else and he really understood vintage vs newer and how many different categories were integrated with each other. He also understood how some other volunteers might improperly categorize things and where to optimally try to look. He could tell that I had a sense of the different array of things in the store too. I was a bit surprised when he told me that he was here only part time. He was trying to see if he could give me a discount as he could tell I a bit surprised about the CD price. Even told me if I got one more CD or DVD that it would be $1 more. However, it was near closing and I just kept the purchase I had decided on. Two of the three CDs I got turned out not to be a win for me. Lol that is how it goes. He told me he worked here part time. He may've assumed I would come back here regularly. That person can feel free to reach out via private message if he was looking to build something more outside of the store. He was staying professional- and I was starting to get tired from a long trip and didn't want to hold him up from near closing time. I found some treasures. Not just books but DVDs, video games, crystals, and other stuff! Almost every book is under $6. The younger girl who was working was really nice and helpful. They have comics, kids books, old and new, something from almost every genre and type. It's a pretty massive place and it was fun combing through their genres!
