Completely arguing with patients and ignoring them as well no matter how many times I have asked for my nausea and pain meds after still being in pain and sweating from the heat and still not getting anything cold. The staff is the absolute worst why on earth would you only have one Dr in your whole er and 30+ nurses just giggling and laughing at there desk while you have people crying and dying in pain. The fact I had to lay on the nasty floor to get comfortable cause it was cold is so unacceptable and the way they talk to the patient omg especially the Dr I will never come back here and you shouldn't risk your health and sanity for these idiots who just are there to get a paycheck read more

I walked in to get an MRI there was no one at the desk! There was a lady in the back she just poked her head and said someone will be with you just have a sit. I sit down wait half an hour but no one showed up the desk! One of the guy came out and get the patient in the lobby didn't even eye contact with us or said anything! We had to leave . I don't know what's going on with Virtua! Last MRI I got from Cooper Hospital in Moorestown was amazing, they great me like VIp and they were very nice! I won't be going to Virtua anymore my new destination is Cooper now on. read more

From the moment I saw triage until just before I left, this was absolutely the worst hospital I've ever been to. The woman in triage was cold and rude. When I was brought back, I spoke to the doctor for two minutes and never saw him again. I had a nurse do an absolutely horrible job trying to draw blood, she dug around and then tried the other arm which told me that she's not skilled at what she does because I've never had a problem having my blood taken. She bruised me up so badly. I was never told that I had a nurse until the following morning, seven hours later, because she never introduced herself as my nurse. She simply administered pain meds, and I never saw her again. Not once, for the first seven hours, did anyone even bother to ask if I was OK. I also was not told that there was a normal restroom, not the disgusting, urine sprayed, non-locking mental health restroom so when I left that restroom, I smelled like urine for the remaining hours that I was there and had to leave in a pair of hospital scrub pants, so my car wouldn't smell like urine when I left. After all my tests were done, no one could tell me anything that was going on with my situation and that was only from me pressing the call button to have somebody come to the room. Apparently, they are doing construction in the ER, so the room that I was in was easily 85 to 90°, I was denied ice chips or water because I was told that my results were not in yet, but three hours prior to that, when my fiancé came and asked if the results were in, he was told that they were and that a doctor would be in shortly, which never happened. I sat in that room waiting and crying for hours and not one person had the decency to check on me and see if I was OK or if I needed anything. The only people that were kind were the ultrasound technician and the CAT scan technician. There was also an observer named Nerieda who deserves recognition for having a wonderful bedside manner, compassion, and tried to help me as best as she could, even though she's not a nurse. It wasn't until the 7 AM shift change that I actually had a nurse named Shamika, come in and introduce herself to me. She was professional, cared and knew how to do her job. Dr. Thompson and Dr. Saurez were wonderful for the brief time I saw them but aside from that, this hospital needs a lot of work. You need to get a better night crew and remind them that they are dealing with patients not customers, people who are sick hurt or scared and if they can't be kind, understanding and compassionate then maybe they are in the wrong line of work. To think of the bill I'm going to receive, from this kind of treatment, infuriates me and I refuse to just accept it. Word of mouth spreads like wildfire and people need to know that if you want excellent care and to be treated properly, maybe Voorhees is the better ontion. Shame on this hospital. read more

My husband had to leave against doctor's orders because a nurse pushed him down. He wasn't getting proper care and complained. She had no right to touch him. He had a hassle getting a CPAP and nurses brought the wrong medication. He didn't feel safe and worried about more maltreatment. I wanted to have him transferred to another Virtua but received no cooperation. My husband was too afraid to stay so I brought him home. It was a traumatic and unnecessarily awful experience. I want to file a complaint, especially against the nurse who pushed him down. read more

A large part of my career has been with Virtua. I'm slightly biased, but truly did have a good experience! My very first trip here was to visit my good friend who just had her second baby, who is now 22 years old! I like this Mt. Holly division. It's a smaller hospital for Virtua, but as equally nice. I especially like and appreciate the easy parking. Even though I live in Turnersville, I can make it to Mt. Holly in a half hour flat, due to 295N and a newly acquired "lead foot" lol. The staff was super nice and on top of everything, the floor that I was on looked very clean, and my friend's room was well cared for with staff floating in and out. Very good care! read more

Had an MRI scheduled. I have a inspire implant. They needed the model and serial number To see if they can do the MRI with an implant. After given them the model /serial number and was told they would let me know in seven business days. 14 business days later no call. I called. Spoke to somebody in the morning I got an answer by that day in the afternoon saying yes, they could and I scheduled an appointment. I go to my appointment after an hour drive, my name was called. The first thing the tech asked me was do you have your remote with you. I said no nobody told me I needed to bring my remote. She replied I can't do it reschedule at front desk and walked out. She wasn't the friendliest person for sure. I got an appointment for the next morning at 9 o'clock. the afternoon before they called me and told me after further review for my safety they couldn't do the MRI. With that being said if I had my remote with me the first morning, they would have done it. So why did we go over and review it again and then decide not to. Their system is broken. This is after flying from Florida to get this test done . Not happy. So I called to speak to a supervisor and they're gone at 3 o'clock in the afternoon. I can't leave a message for the supervisor to call me back nor do they have an email where I can email them. (So I was told) I have to call back again after being on the phone for 30 minutes seeing if there was a supervisor available. This place doesn't deserve a one star. Please don't respond to this saying you're sorry for your inconvenience. If you're sorry then call me and let's talk because I'm not Done with this yet. Someone is paying for my air fare. read more

I recently did a surgery with Dr Sharma and thank God my surgery was successful. All the stuff was kind and helpful except nurse Molly. I ring my buzzer by my bed because I needed to use the restroom 15mins later I saw Molly coming from a room and I called out to her and she ignored me about 25mins later she came in how can I help you. My wife just had her knee replaced and we can speak more highly of the total experience. Of course a shout out the surgeon, Dr Nguyen. He did her left knee 4 years ago and she would go to no one else for this second surgery. The nursing staff was so supportive. Starting with Donna A then Jane in the OR, Bernard and Melody after the OR. Everyone was so supportive and provided quality care to her every step of the way. I particularly liked how they kept me informed of every move. She is in physical therapy now and is making remarkable progress. read more

The nurses seem unable to withdraw blood. Several attempts is painful. I overheard staff in the hall stating the nurses are incompetent. The doctor ignored me when I wanted to ask him a question. He walked away from me without acknowledging me. On the positive side, I did not have to wait in the ER (I was critical). I like that I can choose what I want for meals. read more

This is one of the worst ran emergency rooms in New Jersey. There's no water in the waiting room, and trust you're going to be waiting. It's extremely dirty and did not have bandaids. Bought my mother here, a Type 2 diabetic with breathing problems, we waited 6 hours to be seen. I respect ALL medical professionals and I'm aware every patient's life matters, however someone in their late 50's, who is on a GLP-1 medication and insulin and who can't breathe should not wait 6 hours to be seen. Bad customer service from Linda the Mammo Tech. She gave me racist vibes, she never introduced herself until I was behind the curtain getting changed, she never smiled at me like she smiled at the Caucasian patients, she also didn't wear gloves while manipulating my breast which were sweaty from on a hot summer day. 8/31 to be exact. She was All bad so I definitely will make sure she doesn't perform anything else on me. I reached out to corporate compliance and asked wheres my press ganey? Guess what Linda had Jeanne the registrar turn off the press ganey notification because she knew she fucked up with me. It was obvious because she failed to put her name on the card, I said to her where's your name because I do reviews. So obvious that she did what I said she did SMDH. Sadly only one person reached out to me but it's been a week now times up. Welcome to Yelp so the world could know how Linda treat Black patients. Raquel did a terrible job following up with me. But that's Virtua horrible place/poor customer service. Word to the wise, do Yelp if these bad companies don't provide surveys or reviews. This wait time is ALWAYS ridiculous, even if wait time online says only a few minutes, you'll more than likely be waiting forever. They will also keep you waiting in the waiting room and conduct tests/observations on you in front of other patients. They do not abide by HIPPA, they will announce in front of all other patients in waiting room exactly what is wrong/what they're doing. They leave doors opened during exams and refuse to provide actual wait times. Will just keep putting people in front of you and tell you beds are full!! read more

Entered the ER 10:35pm, severe chest, back & shoulder pain accompanied by vomiting. 1st nurse couldn't initially get a good stick. Treated me as if she was disguested by my vomiting & put me back in the waiting room. Again, I came in with chest pains, I'm hysterical in the waiting room, 16 minutes later, nurse calls my name & expects me to get up to walk to her. Puts me in a room (I'm still waiting to be seen. Its 12:15am) & I wait again. Finally Hannah & Allie come in. Blood work taken, hooked up. 11:20, Hannah tells me she will see about pain meds, returns with the saline & cup I requested, and says have a great night. Stacy & (I missed the 2nd name) are your nurses. XRay comes in 12:10 am. Quick. Simple. It was the X Ray techs who asked if I would like a blanket;asked if I am comfortable. It's 12:18. The only reason I came here, is b/c it was the closest. Willingboro would NEVER have left me uncomfortable, in distress & without looking in to check on me. Nor would the doctor or PA have taken this long to introduce themselves. Even if to say 'I will return'. It's 12:21. Unbelievable. read more

I am currently here . Going in for my 3rd surgery this year. In and out of the hospital going on 8 months. This hospital is hit or miss.. sometimes I receive the best care and sometimes I receive the absolute worst care unfortunately more often than I would like. I receive bad care. Often left to rot in pain. People who are in actual pain are treated like they are drug seeking especially if you're a woman of color. You are definitely forgotten. There's no way to get in touch with someone to help you. I've tried multipleways supervisors ,charges nurses . calling the patient advocate hotline is a fucking joke. Many a time the doctor doesn't even come to see you. But yet plans your medications for the day. When you asked to speak to the doctor 50-50 chance you'll get a call. No communication of plan of care for the day no explanation really when you leave or be discharged. No one there to make sure that you fully understand what's going on with your care. I am literally crying right now because I am in so much pain. Left all night to be in pain the day before my surgery I came to the hospital for relief ,for help. My nurse wouldn't even come to my room when I called. I currently have an IV that doesn't even work.. it's been in since I left the ER and got to my room. I see medication that are in my MyChart. They say that I'm getting and I'm not I hope that no one has to go through what I'm going through and it's so important to speak up. Please research before he comes in the hospital. DO NOT GO TO Mt.HOLLY HOSPITAL! The nurses were "rough" with the patient I was with. By 10pm, there was only one nurse on the floor (or at least in the area of the ER that we were in). We were waiting for hours for test results and for doctors to come talk to us. We pushed the 'nurse call' button to get some pain meds because the poor patient I was with was in severe pain and a nurse came by, shut off the button and left. 30 minutes later we still had not gotten pain meds and so I pushed the button again. The nurses that came over to bandage the patient didn't even bother to throw out the trash, he just left it piled up on the table in the little ER room (Lew was the nurse). There are cops escorting patients in all night, there are prisoners in orange jumpsuits..... it is not a good hospital. Go somewhere else! read more

Emergency surgery on a Sunday evening Dr. Avi Galler assembled a surgical team 9 pm. Successful surgery then 11 days later released pain free and regular now. Bowl cancerous blockage successfully removed with clear margins. Dr Avi Galler thank you! Had been seen at Cooper University Gastroenterologist sent home to wait for a colonoscopy 6 weeks later! Why a CT scan was not ordered stat is beyond me. She surly would of died from a perforated colon. Avoid Cooper Gastroenterologist your life may depend on it. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVES ONES TO 6 STOKES IN VIRTUA MEMORIAL When I tell you this was a complete nightmare of an experience, I am not kidding.  I just had the WORST experience in my life yesterday. I had gone to Vitrua in Voorhees for a self-hospitalization. Everyone was really nice there but I was stuck there for 12 hours. I had been told I would get my own room there, which I believe the girls got confused and gave me incorrect information. When I was in the hospital they gave me a nightgown with the strings cut off and I was wearing only socks and underwear. I had a blanket they gave me at the hospital covering me and that is all.  After 12 hours, the transfer happened. I want to state that I came in with clothes that would be appropriate for the inpatient. I arrived at the facility and they did the normal check up and took my stuff. They left me to go watch TV outside in the living room area. Again , I am in a hospital gown with a single blanket covering me. They never took me to my room so I started panicking in the living room. I have PTSD and even told the facility I have it. Finally one of the nurses, the only nice one, saw I was crying. He took me to my room where I realized I was gonna have to share a room. I started to panic again and went and told the staff I cannot stay here because of my triggers. They told me to wait for the doctor to see me. I am then stuck in the living room with a hospital gown. I finally met with the director of the facility and he let me know they couldn't accommodate me because of the bed situation, which I was perfectly fine with. I called my fiancé and we planned for something else I can do to help me. Sara, she's the only nurse I will use their name because she should be fired, saw I was looking around uncomfortable. Again I'm in a hospital gown with no real clothes. I told her I talked to my fiancé and we have a plan since they are gonna let me in. She told me it wasn't gonna happen, that I wasn't gonna leave. She told me I wouldn't see the doctor until after dinner. And then she walked away. I started to panic again. I felt so triggered the whole time I was there. I felt so exposed and so terrified as a victim of SA and Rape. And they couldn't care less. I started getting into a flashback and lovely Sara came over. She's not here to make me feel better, she's monotone and is like do you want to go talk somewhere else or I will have to drug you. I cannot get up BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE FUCKING CLOTHES AND I AM TRIGGERED SARA. When I wouldn't come down because I am petrified, she walks away. Leaving me scared and terrified still.  The director was walking by me and saw I was panicking. I told him I was scared and triggered. He IMMEDIATELY went and got me a bunch of blankets and got the doctor to see me sooner. I'm thankful for him because that shit staff didn't fucking do anything to help me. Saw the doctor, he was so patient and so kind and he did release me from the center. The morning crew left for the day and the night crew came in.  When I tell you how it was completely night and day with this crew, I'm astonished. The morning crew did this shit to me and were awful to the patients. Some of them were treating one of them as if he was a dog or some shit. They gave away all the food in the morning and the guy woke up and was rightfully upset they gave away his food. The night shift however was so kind and caring. They IMMEDIATELY gave me my clothes. How fucked up is it that I sat from 7am to 4pm WITHOUT FUCKING CLOTHES because the morning crew were fucking lazy and chit chatting in the office.  I have since come home and I needed to let people know. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVE ONES HERE. IT'S NOT WORTH IT. The mental health system is so fucked up and as someone whose going to school to be in that field, I would hope others were as understanding as I am. read more
