The trio of movers were especially efficient in loading the furniture and boxes at my old place onto the truck. I really liked the portable closet they brought that made transporting nice clothes on hangers a breeze. The move was just a handful of miles -- from Berkeley to Oakland -- so the hope was to finish in the two hour minimum. We didn't quite make it, instead coming in at slightly over 2.5 hours - rounded up to 2.75. That was the only disappointment. I'll give them 4.7 or 4.8 stars.

I moved with All Star Moving again recently, going both to a storage unit and apartment. They were…read morevery timely and efficient, and even helped organize the storage unit to ensure everything fit well. They secured everything with plastic wrap, blankets and cables in the van so all my items felt secure and taken care of. They finished the move in about 2 hours and did a great job. Hopefully I don't have to move again anytime soon but will always turn to them to help when I do! Note: if you are in an apartment building, try to find out the car clearance in your garage and let them know. some of their trucks are really tall so may not be able to fit.

Wrapped up everything and nicely done Buuuuuuttt...... Only thing I didn't like the way the charged. At the end .. which was $200 extra than what was quoted. I didn't ask them to Wrap every single thing. Now wrapping the couch and tv was fine but they would stack every box about 3 high wrap it around several times which was unnecessary they would stack all the larger bags and wrap them as well. Now at the end is where I notice all the time they took to stack and wrap is where they charged up extra money with the time o was only moving in the next building over about 200 feet's away Wasn't to happy about this ....

He was so great the first time that when it came to another sofa move, he was the first person I called. I needed him to pick up to dispose of my old sofa on a Thursday since my new couch was supposed to be delivered Friday (right before the Super Bowl). Talked with him on the phone and made arrangements. Sent him pictures and talked with him on the phone. He said he could do the move and to just text him the date. I followed his instructions and didn't hear from him. Since I worked with him before, I figured everything was good. I text him the day before to ensure we were still on track. Called him multiple times (and everything was going to voicemail). But I figured, I've worked with Brandon before and he is reliable. Thursday came along and I text him again. Left him a voicemail. Called multiple times. When the time came for him to get the sofa, he was a no show. I had to reschedule my new sofa delivery all because he couldn't even bother to tell me he couldn't do it. Even a text from Brandon would have been fine to reschedule or cancel. He calls me on Saturday - not even a voicemail or a text apologizing. Life happens, so I would have been okay if he just communicated he couldn't do it. But to not say anything? I really thought he was a reliable guy but I won't use his moving servicing again. 5 stars for the first project. 0 stars for the second.
