These guys were awesome. I called and left a voicemail requesting an appointment for a junk removal quote. I had a decent amount of stuff that needed to be hauled away, including a couch, two TVs, two microwaves, a cat tower, a mirror, a bed frame, a pedestal fan, some cinder blocks, and a pallet. I got a call back soon after from Ernesto, who set up time for the next day to do the estimate. Ernesto showed up right when he said he would, took a look at everything, and quoted me a couple hundred bucks to dispose of it all. I liked that these guys try to reduce what ends up in a landfill and will donate what they can. After I ran the price by my husband, I texted Ernesto, told him we'd do it, and set up a time for the next day for service. Again, the guys showed up right on time and took everything away. Payment is due at the time of service and they take cash, check, or payment via P2P apps. These guys were professional, nice, punctual, and efficient. The prices were more than fair; given how much each trip to the dump is now, how I would've also had to find ways to dispose of some of the items (e-waste, pallet, etc.), *and* how I would've had to make a trip to the thrift store to donate some of the things (bed, mirror), I thought this was a much better option. Faster and more convenient, and it's great that they text you your appointment info and let you know when they're on their way. I'd use them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them. read more

They only sent one kinda' smallish guy, who was particularly smart and observant, and i thought he'd have problems picking up stuff, but in a blink he yanked up all the boxes, re-organized the truck to accommodate them and even gave me a few tips on how to get rid of some other stuff he saw on the side! My niece in law found this junk removal company courtesy of Facebook and we happen to need some left over junk by my brother in law who recently passed away for he left a lot so we got a quote from this company. My husband and I needed to have about a third of a one car garage worth of items hauled away the same day we were moving out of our apartment. I reached out to Ready Set Junk Inc. for a quote via Yelp on June 24th for service the morning of June 27th. I heard back from Ernesto almost immediately with a quote and we were able to lock in the date and time within 24 hours (the delay being due to me not having the time decided on my end). I let Ernesto know that the garage was further down the driveway and asked if their hauling vehicle would be able to fit. It wouldn't, but Ernesto said it was fine. Ernesto and Edgar are amazing! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them, you will not be disappointed!! We used Ready, Set, Junk back in 2020 when we moved back into our place after water damage that caused us to be away for a year. The contractors, Belfor threw/left a lot of the trash in our back yard and would not offer to help with the clean up. I came to visit my parents in the Bay Area (San Jose) and they have A LOT of stuff in their garage. My mom has been wanting to toss out unneeded items for a while now so we started cleaning out the garage. I looked on Yelp and Ernesto had all 5 star reviews. I submitted my quote request and he answered right away and was available the same day, which is what I specifically requested. He quickly asked for a few photos in order to give me a quote. I sent some photos and he responded with a fair price. From the time we first communicated to the time he was done it was less than 2 hours! He came solo, but moves fast. He was wearing a mask and had a lift on his truck so moving everything out was done efficiently. He quoted me a price and it seemed VERY reasonable compared to the other quotes I was receiving. We hired Ernesto and he arrived within 40 minutes! Ernesto was very polite, genuinely kind and I could tell he took pride in his work. He took a small couch, a mattress and box spring, 3 - 4 bikes, a lawnmower and lots of other random items. It cost $275 bucks and was well worth it to begin emptying out my parents garage! After he was done I received a receipt via text which was much appreciated. We'll be calling him back when I return to visit my parents in the summer. Great job!
