The bandana matches the clothing so I can see this being popular with dog owners. They sell their matcha tins indoors as well as keep it Kaimuki merchandise so if you ever wanted to come by and pick it up you can find a selection here. They have limited outdoor seating to chill with open-air vibes. I especially love to come here and visit Frankie the shop mascot. He is so friendly and loves people

I was assisted to try on a few dresses. The dresses feel soft and are flattering. What I love the most is the dress I chose has pockets. I was able to find a matching shirt for my husband and a dress my for 5 year old. The price seems a lot, but its not. It's made in Hawaii. Made in house. So the QUALITY and WORKMANSHIP is what you are getting from it. Many people ask where I get my clothes. A lot of my favorite pieces are from this place. The quality is worth the money spent. There is only a few places you can get an outfit that will look good, last long and makes you feel good in it. This place is will always be my go to. A lot of the clothing pieces travel well and are versatile. You can look beach ready and dress it up with the right accessories and shoes. Last purchase I made was for a dress item that was too long. They provided alterations so I got the dress and a week later picked it up. It was perfect! Overall, ladies you can't go wrong here. The have flattering tops, pants and dresses. They have some pieces for the family. They even have jewelry to accessorize. They even do alterations.

Their online drops are legendary--beautiful, meaningful designs rooted in Hawaiian culture--but blink and you'll miss them. I've lost out more times than I can count, so stepping into their charming little yellow cottages on Monsarrat Avenue felt like a dream come true. The shop is small but thoughtfully curated, with just one of each size available--so every piece feels extra special. There are a few parking spots right out front (a gift in itself on Monsarrat!), and the whole experience feels intimate and intentional. From the hand-printed fabrics to the cultural storytelling woven into every design, Kealopiko is more than a clothing brand--it's a celebration of place, language, and identity. Super adorbs and totally worth the visit.

I saw the reviews of others saying that the service isn't super friendly. I get it. I live with some pretty angry Hawaiians and I get that it's hard to be happy all the time living here and working in an area filled with tourists. The few times I've been here, service has been a mixed bag. But they all get the job done. They'll usually try to give you a new item (instead of the display items) if they have any in stock. I think they are card only. Ofc the most difficult thing about kealopiko is how exclusive it is. They make their clothes in small batches and hand print the material. It's good quality items and honestly less expensive than some other locally owned stores, so I like shopping here. It's just sometimes hard to get your hands on things. I'll definitely be back. I try to follow them on Instagram so that I can head to the store when they do a drop. It was definitely easier when I lived in town.

Stüssy Honolulu is extremely popular, so plan ahead if you're hoping to shop the newest releases. I…read morevisited four times during my trip and picked up a few useful tips. Pro tips: 1. Arrive very early. The line starts well before sunrise. On Tuesday, the first person arrived at 4:50 AM; I got there at 6:00 AM and was already in the third section of the line. Another day I arrived at 3:45 AM thinking I would be first, but someone had been there since 3:30 AM. Small sizes are especially difficult to get. If you line up before 8:00 AM, you'll generally have a better chance at Medium through XXL. 2. They may open before the posted time. Although the store lists a 10:00 AM opening, it has opened around 9:15 AM. 3. Use the next-day exchange option. If your preferred size is unavailable, buy an available size and return around 9:00 AM the following day to exchange it. Keep in mind that exchanges are only for swapping sizes. You cannot purchase additional items during that visit. And since Small sells out quickly, it may still be difficult to exchange into one. Overall, the staff is friendly and professional, especially considering they manage huge crowds all day and answer the same questions repeatedly. Great store, but treat it like an early-morning event rather than a casual shopping stop. Value - get ready to pay for an arm & leg: - T-shirts: $45 - Hoodies: $130 - Zipper Hoodies: $140 - Jackets: $200+

If you're serious about finding an aloha shirt you think you'll wear when you get back home, you…read moremight be looking for something that doesn't exist. You can find aloha shirts just about anywhere on Oahu, whether at expensive boutiques in Waikiki or in the nearest ABC store. However, the visual appeal of the shirt depends completely the eye of the beholder. With that in mind, there probably isn't any other store on the island that offers a broader selection. It's pretty overwhelming. The drawback is that the massive inventory is packed in a retail space so constrained that it can be a challenge to navigate. It took me a while to realize the shirts on the central racks are the priciest, some costing hundreds and (gasp) even thousands of dollars. There are used shirts along the wall that sell as low as $9. I wasn't particularly clear on the difference in quality, but I'll give you one guess which racks I was rifling through. If you want an Aloha shirt, and a somewhat authentic one or even retro one, you should come here,…read morebut you should know what you are getting yourself in for. The walk from the Waikiki hotels is only about 10-15 minutes. On the strip in Waikiki you'll see a lot of places that will charge you Hawaii tourist prices for shirts - only some of which are decent. At Bailey's you'll definitely see what you want, and new or used, you might even come away with some money left over in your wallet for the next exorbitant meal. If you come in expecting space to be able to stand back and have a good look at the many, many shirts they have, well, there just isn't any. And if you want access to a dressing room, chances are you won't get that either. There is a single dressing room, and pretty much everyone goes in there with the 10-15 shirts they just picked out because they know it is the only access they will have to it (because everyone else has been in there doing the same thing, or waiting for their turn with a stack of shirts). But you'll find shirts, and ones that you like. You could pay anywhere from $10-$15 for a cheaper used one, most of the decent quality used ones are in the $25-$30 range, and then you can find some new Reyn Spooner types that might be up to $120. They have other stuff as well, but I think the majority of people probably go here to get Aloha shirts. This is very much a thrift store vibe, so if that ain't your jam, this place probably isn't for you. But it's an institution. It would be 5 stars for me, but I think it was important for clarity to take off one star just because it is an overwhelming number of shirts in a supremely confined space. My arms hurt from dragging shirts on hangers and holding the others back to try to look at them. The lady behind the counter is nice.

For a brief moment I enjoyed joining a 5K and 10K walks/runs and with that I had no idea what type of shoes is for me as many recommend what is the best somehow it jut never really worked for me though the stability and comfort is what many brands to encourage they have my feet just says differently. There are moments when packet pick ups was here at the Running Room and with that I always somehow never leave without purchasing something as they just have so many items besides shoes and socks and the perfect location on Kapahulu with free parking does make it an easy place to shop as well and on this sad to hear of its closure did take me by surprise so I just had to pay them a visit and I guess many have known about it as basically majority of their inventory has already been sold. Luckily for my larger sized feet there was my size left though the color situation was sparse understandably I did find one that looked promising and decided to get my very first pair of Hoka. I haven't treated myself to a brand new shoe in years so it felt like a cloud but being cautious since my legs hurt the next day. Not exactly sure when their last will be but glad to have given them one final visit and hope that the future will grand for this part of Kapahulu. Thank you!
