What a great decision to take my car to Visalia Auto Body! I got rear-ended in my Subaru Impreza and needed to get my car fixed. There were several issues with State Farm and Enterprise, but Visalia Auto Body was so easy to work with! Everyone was kind and professional, and they made the experience with them painless. My husband and I are sharing one car at the moment, so when he took it in and then the rental place told him that they could only rent to me, we were in quite a pickle. He was there, with no way to get to me. I was home in Tulare, with no way to get to him. Lucky for us there are some genuinely good, kind people working at Visalia Auto Body! The owner drove my husband to Tulare to pick me up and drove us back to the car rental shop. That's a 40 minute round trip drive just out of the goodness of his heart! We were very impressed by their concern for their customers. I'd give them five stars just for that, but they did even better than that! Not only was my car ready a week earlier than anticipated, it looked just as it did before the accident (with the exception that it was no longer dirty because they cleaned it!). My fiance might allude that I'm a bad driver, but I swear that I attract the real bad drivers and they just make me look bad. I was rear-ended in my not-so-new anymore car and crumpled my back bumper. State Farm listed off some local places for repairs and I did my homework, decided according to stellar reviews and a smart looking website that Visalia Auto Body was the place for me. The staff made it such an easy process beginning to end. They were very professional on the phone and in person. No appointment needed for an estimate and I had the repair set in motion pretty much the same day of the accident. I asked an, "oh by the way how much would it be to fix this other thing over here for future reference," and received a separate quote for that. The slowest bit was waiting for the new parts to come from the dealer. Sam shuttled me to the rental car place after I dropped of my damaged vehicle. The next day after discussing with aforementioned fiance, we decided to have them go ahead and fix the unrelated area. Not a problem! Was happy to see the final product. Found this place when I googled Auto body shops and checked out their Yelp reviews. I seen they had great reviews and though I live in Tulare I felt this was a great place to try. Sam was very helpful and let me know they were booked but would call me the following week if they could get me in. Sure enough he called when he said he would which was the first good sign, he kept his word. They took care of my Lexus and fixed my front bumper I popped off. They sure saved me a lot of money, kept me from replacing the whole front bumper. They even gave me a ride to work. I'm glad I brought my car here. I got it back super fast and service was amazing. When I got in a fender bender, I was dreading taking my car in for repairs. My experiences in the past were filled with endless delays and extra costs. Imagine my surprise when I arrived at Visalia Auto Body and -after one short phone call- they were completely ready to meet me and schedule my repair. I called the week before my repair confirming our appointment and I was flabbergasted to learn they had already ordered the necessary parts. Repair was done in less than a week and my car was pristine when I picked it up. Probably cleaner than it's ever been. I can't believe how easy and professionally handled the whole experience was. Unbelievable service. Had stopped at another places and had been put off for a period of time so drive to see Visalia Auto Body. They took a look at my problem (a bumper that had been completely pulled away). The owner gave me an extremely reasonable estimate and said it would be about an hour. It took just slightly longer (while I relaxed in their lobby), but they also fixed a small area on a side panel at no extra cost. Pleasant professional reasonable and timely. The body work was great the paint job is way below any ones standers. Very nice staff but highly dis-satisfied. I was given the run around, I was told my car could be fixed but in the end the story changed several times and after being at the shop for more than three weeks nothing had been even started. When I called about the staus I was encouraged to pick my car up as they once again changed the reason saying they could not locate the part. I picked up my vehicle and with in 2 minutes located what was needed on E-Bay. Very disappointed...Very dis-satisfied if they couldn't fix it they should have just said they could't ,and when I suggested they couldn't I was spoked to defensively and disrespectful. read more

These guys are awesome!!! I was dreading getting quotes and work done for some damage done to the lift gate of our minivan. I was able to get a quote the same day I called, and they were super informative, knowledgable, professional, and helpful. I got a few other quotes and they were not only the lowest, but by far the most helpful. I was able to schedule the work to be done the same week and it was completed on time with no "extra" costs added. They even helped with the insurance process! I can't say enough about the work that was done. You can not even tell there was any damage, and they even fixed a smaller issue on the front of the van as well!! As a woman with two small children I felt respected and like I was treated as an equal throughout the whole process. I never felt like they were talking down to me, or trying to cheat me in any way. I can not say enough good things about everyone I interacted with. I will take all of my work to Visalia Auto Body from now on without hesitation. Their work is amazing and their professionalism, honesty, support, and communication throughout the whole process was fantastic!
