This is the third time we've had to bring our vehicle back. The service has been extremely disappointing due to poor communication and unprofessional workmanship. Issues include: Loose bolts Misaligned panels Unpainted parts Update: We dropped off the vehicle at 11:30 AM and were told it would be a quick fix since only three bolts secure the rear bumper to the frame. When I called at 3:40 PM to check the status, the adjuster said they were still looking at the vehicle. I explained that we needed the car back before they closed at 5 PM. At 4:27 PM, we received a call from Tom's informing us they were unable to get to our vehicle at all. This was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. If your insurance recommends this shop, I strongly suggest going elsewhere. The service here is terrible. read more

Answered all of my questions, had my paperwork ready and called the rental car company to pick me up. The staff took time to answer all of my questions and kept me informed the entire way. Zero communication. Continuous delays with excuse after excuse, and no effort in notifying us. We had to call every week for an update. Parts weren't ordered until vehicle was at the shop for over 2 weeks. A repair that we were told would take 21 days wasn't complete for 61 days. Do not recommend. read more

Came in to get an estimate on a scratch that occured and Christian did the estimate and offered to polish the scratch to see if it would polish out, it polished out some but was to deep. If I could put zero stars I definitely would. My car was there for 3 months after I was told it was supposed to be ready 2 months ago. It was like it was lie after lie from them. My car was still not at 100%, however if I left my car there for them to fix again it would have taken them another 3 months to get it back. Tim was the only helpful person there who pushed to get my car to me as fast as he could. The tech was horrible and did not do his job correctly. If you decide to take your car to get it fixed there, good luck because you won't be seeing your car for a good 3 months if you're lucky. read more

Back in May of 2023, I was involved in a accident that ruined the front/front driver side of my 2018 Toyota Tacoma, which is on a 3.5 inch lift and 33 inch tires. I had originally brought the truck which had been modified, to Caliber Collision in Armona, CA. After discovering the truck would require repairs to some aftermarket suspension components, Caliber had to decline service to my vehicle, but wrote up a rough draft estimate for vehicle damage. I had found Tom's Body & Paint through a Google search, and went in person to present the situation to see their shop. I had the pleasure of speaking to Brandon about bringing the vehicle in for repairs, and showed him some images I had on my phone of the damages and if it looked like something his shop could handle and fix. Without doubt or hesitation, he told me to bring it on over. I was already impressed by the fact that the shop seems to have a proactive attitude. I had the truck towed from Caliber Collision to Tom's Body & Paint around the beginning/middle of June and brought the estimate from Caliber Collision to Brandon so that way him and his team could have an idea of what they were going to be dealing with. I had communicated with Brandon my situation of being in the military, and that I would be leaving for a detachment from July to the end of August, and my ability to communicate with decrease significantly. Brandon understood and did his best to keep me in the loop of how the truck was doing as it was undergoing repairs, giving me status updates, and asking questions without hesitation on areas he needed my help with for making sure everything was brought back to it's original condition. I was pleased to know that through calls and emails, he made sure to keep great communication with me about my trucks whereabouts. I was also pleased to know that he didn't make any "best judgement" calls or any guess work. Everything he was unsure of, he called to make sure it was ran by me and had my approval, which was a huge plus. The customer service provided by not only Brandon, but his staff, is superb. Prior to me leaving for detachment, I made it clear to Brandon that in the scenario the truck does get finished, I will be unable to pick the truck up myself or have it be picked up, and he kindly offered to have it stay until I return, and even have it be cleaned inside and out so that way it was nice and presentable when I returned. The drive and initiative and willingness to go the extra mile was remarkable, and I thank Brandon and his team for making it all happen. Even when I left for my detachment, Brandon continued to email me and reply to give updates and still ask questions. Me being out on the detachment led to a somewhat lengthy turnaround time, but that is to no fault of Tom's. Upon return from my detachment, the final details and finishing touches were being wrapped up, and within a few days, it was ready for pickup. I was baffled by the quality of work, it was remarkable! The paint matches the OEM perfectly. The panel gaps were on point, there was so signs of anything being out of place or uneven. Upon taking delivery, Brandon was personable and understanding of all the troubles it took to get my truck ready, despite all the issues with trying to order and obtain the aftermarket components that were installed. Once I finally got to get behind the wheel and drive off, I knew the job was done right. The truck felt like it was driving better than it did before my collision. The calibration was on point, the alignment was great, and the quality of work for all the pieces that were put together to assemble the truck was nothing short of fantastic. I would highly advise anyone that was involved in an accident to utilize this body shop. I will state, quality takes time, but like they always say, it will be worth the wait. I took my car in at 8:00am on Wednesday. I called in the afternoon and informed them that insurance would only pay for a rental car when the parts are in. It hadn't even been looked at yet. It did not need any parts, just repair of scratch and paint. If drivable the insurance would not pay for a rental. I was told the car would be done the flowing Tuesday. I called on Tuesday they had barely finished prep. And said they hoped it would be done that week. read more

I was hit on my Driver side door. The impact was strong enough to make a substantial amount of damage. Thankfully the driver at fault helped make the claim process much easier. He actually referred Tom's Auto Body. I also started to ask around. Among my family and friends the consensus agreed this was a great place. Upon phone contact Amanda was so nice. She talked me through the process and was available for my to take my car in at any given time. Once I arrived Christian at the front desk was so very kind, funny, and helpful. He followed me outside to asses the damage and included touch ups on preexisting scratches. Brandon then further assisted with including a few other fix its. I was nervous still leaving my car. But thankfully a rental was awaiting. I encountered a snag with the car rental company due to insurance crap. Brandon and the Staff at Tom's Auto Body didn't leave me hanging. They continued to assist my kids and I with reliable transportation until my car was complete. I was given amazing service. Communication is key with me. And I appreciated everything they did. I picked my car up today. It looks better then it did when I dropped it off. Apart from the dent of course. I was reunited with my car. Thank you all so so much. VERY UPROFESSIONAL! Do NOT waste your time with these people. I came in on an insurance claim. Photos were taken and an estimate written, all fine. Made an appointment for two weeks later, called the day before to confirm, all fine. Arrive today at the shop and am told they REFUSE TO DO THE WORK. Didnt even look at it or give me a valid reason. They have kept my car way longer then originally reported and have costed me almost an additional $1000 in rentals because they set a long service time and then keep postponing it. They clearly do not know how to set a good date and get things done in the time they tell you. Took my car in after somebody scratched the front fender, Brandon helped me out and got me an estimate super quick! Free coffee inside while you wait and the front desk staff was super nice. The building looks brand new. I got my car back cleaner than when I left it there. They washed and cleaned it before they gave it back to me. They even restored my foggy headlights for free! I took my Ford in to have the liftgate realigned because it was loose, there was no accident involved. I was provided an estimate and told it would take 2 hours no problem. I got an estimate from a nice gentleman then was passed on to Christian who made me bring my car back each day for two days because the first day they never looked at the car After having it two full days, when I picked it up, he washed the car, I thought great how nice. Showed me the work it looked aligned but did not open it and I went home, my mistake. I opened the back of the liftgate trunk and the liftgate won't open more then a half inch and closed. of course I already paid for the work. I call the next day and he says, it will take a two minute "reset" let him research and call me back. No call back two days later I show up and he tells me can I bring it back the next day and leave it ALL day again he will have his guys research it which is what he was suppose to do on that Thursday. I may need $300 worth of new shocks. Nothing was wrong with the shocks when I brought it in...hmmm, and I may need to take it back to the dealer. Funny they referred me to you. So now I have an aligned liftgate that won't open for a job that was suppose to take two hours. Christian sucks. I ended up taking it home finding the fuse myself pulling it and the reset did not fix it. My husband turned the shocked slightly and surprise surprise my liftgate works. read more

My car was hit in a parking lot and sustained significant damage. I had researched this body shop before and found the staff to be very professional and attentive to all the questions I had. Wow! I came here after my first ever car accident last week. I walked in and was met by one of the owners, Brandon, who sat me down in his office got me a cup of coffee and a donut. He then walked through step by step how the whole process works with insurance and getting my car fixed. I dropped it off Tuesday and it was all fixed by Friday. He called me on Friday night and I couldn't go pick it up so he dropped off my car at my house after they had already been closed for over an hour! Tom's did a great job fixing my car - it's looks great. For the most part, Jay was professional and helpful. However, I did have an issue after I picked up the vehicle. After I reported the problem to Jay, he got very defensive, stubborn and unhelpful, and, since he was unable to reproduce the problem, it didn't exist (i.e I'm hearing things or I'm a liar). So, my vehicle remains with an issue that is unrepaired. When I bring it to the dealer for its next service, they'll take care of it for me. read more

Professional, thorough, and courteous, I was well taken care of by a knowledgeable individual who was a master of his trade. Stacy was great. Unfortunately in the long run, I wasn't able to commit to them because the value of my car (which wasn't much) was worth less than the cost of the body work and paint and I was paying out of pocket. My new van's fender got dented in pretty good in a parking lot. I was referred here by my dealership since my dealership doesn't do body work. I took my van to several places anyway since I was a bit wary on the actual cost to fix it. I was able to get a quote at several places and Tom's was the least expensive.
