Was rear ended and had a lot of damage to rear of SUV. Car is 11years old. Was worried about matching the paint. They did an excellent job. It looks brand new. We were so pleased with the work the paint job looks excellent. And we were aware of everything they were doing and they did their best.

If I could give no I would... the owner is so rude. My car was returned with defects from their no good quality of work. My car had scratches, fish eye and paint chips that the car didn't have prior to dropping off. The owner was informed and refuse to being liable for the defects that he him self admitted accurred in his shop. Very disappointed...never never again will I recommend or take my cars to them. They don't stand behind their name nor what they promised of quality work. read more

I recently lost my husband ... he would go to Golden State for paint or body repair. After he died I would go there for an oil change. Then I found myself going there for all my car needs because not only were they helpful, the staff is so friendly and nice to my dog. The waiting area is clean and smiles and laughter abound. If they don't provide a service they will recommend a few. My car broke down in another town where they have an office. I called the local office and they got my location and sent someone right out. They're a locally owned business that treat their employees like family. That's a plus for me. Great company read more

They fixed my bumper after a fender bender. When I showed up to pick it up my battery was dead. It is a 2014 Nissan Maxima that has never had a problem with the battery. Well, I picked it up on the 7th and went to the car wash and turned off my car to vacuum and bam, dead battery. Called them and Wayne told me sorry it's the original battery it just happened to die there. When he said it happens all the time at auto body places. Really? Probably because YOU left the door open. Now I'm out 104.00 so just beware. Even though you go in for bumper repair you might come out with a dead battery because "it happens". read more

Went in for an estimate. Girl was very friendly and professional. Told her I need an estimate. No problem. Guy came out looked.at it not overly professional. Told him I want an estimate. He wanted my claim number gave it to him. Now he wants itemized estimate.from the insurance. Company of the guy who hit my car..I told him just send me the estimate. He says that between him and the insurance company. Kiss my @$$. Don't care how good their repair work might be, don't try to manipulate me into making me choose your services. Filed a claim with my auto insurance due a sizable dent found on the drivers side quarter panel on my Silverado. Insurance's associated body shop is Golden St paint & body. And I'm glad it worked out like that. Work done on my truck was excellent! They went above and beyond! An ugly scratch on the fender that's been there for a couple of years was even buffed out!
