FIRST CLASS OPERATION. I've had my share of shady shops over the years, but from experience, I can say that these guys are very professional and committed to their craft. The office is organized and on top of the insurance and paperwork and Albert is a fantastic asset to the company. Communication was responsive and proactive, pricing was very fair (actually the best quote I got in town) and they were able to work with me on various items to get the end result I wanted. And of course - the workmanship was great - I had a 20+ year old BLACK car that needed a lot. It left the shop as good as a factory paint job, maybe better. Overpriced quote! I can't comment on the quality of work performed here but can say the quote I was given was astronomical for the replacement of a small plastic part behind my wheel well. The quote from Alex's was about $1,200.00, including 8 hours of labor for painting (for what, I cannot say). Two subsequent quotes from nearby auto body businesses BOTH quoted me at $130.00. I never leave reviews, but the discrepancy in the quotes was pretty upsetting. Needless to say, I took my business to Duran Duran where they did a fantastic job. Having to go back and forth with them sucks. They're final inspection is horrible. From forgetting to put the badges on to not noticing an indent on the leather on the inner door. They tell you they send it to the insurance to send money for them to fix again. But they don't. They call you and tell you that you the consumer has to submit it even though they did the work and the part was delivered like that don't you think they would address any defect in any parts delivered to make sure you're getting the top value you want back in your vehicle? Upon pick up my steering wheel was half cocked to the left after they said they got an alignment done lmao how do you miss this!!!! The door wasn't aligned right it would drag at the bottom I addressed it and retuned it they had it another week and guess what it's still rubbing at the bottom. Driving it down the road it sounds like air is coming in on the side it was damaged on. Weather stripping wasn't installed the right way the manager had stated it was backwards and they had re install. The tint was chipped I asked if they would replace and the manager John said yea bring back a receipt and you'll be reimbursed. Well I did that when I return with the receipt John states I need to send it back to insurance to be paid kind you it was $50 to replace the tint. Well Albert the other manager stepped in and paid me out of his own pocket. End of story is, how do you conduct business like this ? How do you do a final walk around inspection of the work you completed and give it back to the customer ? It blows my mind. I probably won't get anything out of this but I felt that I needed to voice what we have gone through. Albert seemed to have the only sense to talk to. But I do have to say he did take a picture of the inner door and said he sent it back to the insurance so they can pay for another one? Yet I haven't seen or heard back except the fact that he said I need to contact them for the payment so they can fix. Mind you I picked my car up at the very end of January. And still nothing has been done or said. Albert your customer service is great but maybe the business side needs attending to. And work on final inspections before you guys deliver the car back to the consumer. read more

This is probably the most upsetting and disappointing review I've ever posted. In part, because the owner, "Alex," would not even take my call, after doing business with this shop for almost 20 years. Albert, his "main man," is always nice, but I'm afraid his hands are tied. Service has gone to crap, first and foremost. Second, I showed up yesterday to pick up my 2016 GMC Yukon Denali XL, and was blown away at what they were trying to deliver to me. It looked like my 2 year old fingerpainted the finish to the door, bumper, and rear quarter panel. I'm just like, "and why did you call me?" So, I left it. Came back this evening to pick it up, and what's this I see on the door? Metal? As in, no paint or clearcoat. Answer? Paint it with a touch up brush and no clear coat? No thanks. I left it again. Car has now been with them over 2 weeks. I don't know what happened with the traditional Alex's I once knew, the communication, or the craftsmanship, but it is definitely gone now. I have to say this place and it's staff went above and beyond for me. I got an estimate fast but they thing was they couldn't see me for 3 weeks. I told them I needed it done in 4 days. They said let us take it in and see if there is any further damage that is not visible and we will call u with an update. I dropped my car off in the morning and within two hours they called me back and said we could have it done in three days. There is no further damage than what was estimated and we can have the part here by tomorrow. Bam, it was all done and taken care of. Above excellent customer service. Unfortunately, my car was parked at the right place at the wrong time and my car was damaged. My insurance gave me some money for it, but I didn't get my car fixed till this month (June). I ended up taking my car to Alex's Paint & Body since I heard good things about them. When I went to get an estimate, I was told everything would be over $2k and they told me not to worry because my Insurance would cover the rest. I took my car in on a Monday and they called me the next day and told me that they fixed my car already but the paint was still drying, so I could come in the next day to pick it up. They also told me that they couldn't fix the small damages inside my car because the materials were on back order, so I would have to come in another time to get it fixed. When I came to pick up my car, they wanted me to pay what my insurance gave me, plus my $500 deductible even though they only fixed one thing. I told them that I only wanted to pay for what was fixed already and that I did not want the inside fixed anymore, since the materials were on back order, plus I doubted that my insurance would pay the additional costs. It seemed like they didn't want me to only pay for what was only done, but I brought someone with me who knows the owner, so they worked it out for me and only charged me for what was fixed. I'm very happy with how my car looks. You can't even tell that it was ever damaged! read more

As we were trying to get to my great-grandma's funeral we ended up with a flat tire. Our spare was flat as well. We saw them as we were sitting on the side of the 198, called and they were so kind. They let us roll our tire over and to fill it with air then put the tire and my dad in a truck drove him back to our car.
