Super quick service. Good price. But clean your tank man!!! Is that why this place is called green? read more

Visalia Green Smog - Fish tank - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Visalia, California

Took my car in and they were very short and rude, called me and demanded that I go to a dealership and get stickers for my engine bay. Took about 2 hours for a smog which wasn't great. They had Left my car without the parking brake on. read more

Passed bad Catalytic converters for Dann's Discount auto sales. He said he thought they were stock. 3 other places looked at them and said they were not. It cost over $4000 to replace. He did nothing to help. Seems like Kevin and Dann have something going on together. read more

Been going there for a few years, and it was always uneventful--but yesterday afternoon the guy at the counter was downright insulting. I know they do volume work so I never expected them to be "friendly"--just CIVIL. This one was ridiculous--THREW my debit card back at me under the plexiglass shield, it almost fell onto the floor. Mumbled in such a way I could barely understand what he was saying. No "please" or "thank you." And they shouldn't leave the customer's keys in the car with the driver window all the way down. Dude, get a grip. Don't like women? Customers? Find another job. There's plenty of competition out there, and that's where we're going next time! ;-) read more

I brought my car in on Saturday Jan. 8th 2022. The lady at the front desk was very nice and i got my smogged within 35 minutes. I will definitely refer my family and friends here. Thanks to 36 North Oil Charge for recommending Visalia Green Smog read more

Honestly when the reviews said they were rude, they were not lying. Tina that answers the phone needs a personality check...Rude.

I love this place. They are quick and easy and a great bargain. Been using them 3 years now. They are wonderful

Excellent customer service, especially the nice woman at the front desk. Very quick. No hassles. Much appreciated. No doubt will refer people to a business like this. read more

Fast and efficient... always happy with them! If you want a nice, friendly, professional... now you know!

They got me through very quick. I have used them twice and appreciate the great service.

The elder gentlemen who greeted me as soon as I walked in was kind and friendly. I was in and out with smog complete in about 30 mins or less no joke. Great folks. $35 out the door with certificate. read more

Very friend and fast service. I go for my smog checks and have even sent my son in and we both aways receive fast and polite service.

I have been going to them for years. This year the owner alerted me to a potential problem and even recommended a mechanic yo di the repairs. I appreciate his honesty and how he always looks out for his customers. read more

Just had my smog checked today! They were so fast and reasonably priced! The customer service is excellent and the woman who works in the front office was very friendly and helpful! I will definitely go there again when I need a smog test! read more

I've been here many times. Their prices are some of the best in town and they are always very efficient. The waiting room/lobby isn't exactly resort status, so don't come in expecting a clean recliner with a TV. I don't remember if there was a restroom available either. But the price and wait time overruled those items. One time I didn't pass smog on an old truck I had. The lady at the front desk explained that I didn't pass and provided me with info on what to do next. She didn't try to sell me anything or waste my time. read more

What I like about Visalia Green Smog is that they always look for ways to try to help you smog your vehicle.

Great service! No wait! In and out in 20 minutes! I hate getting smog checks but since I'll have to do it again when the DMV tells me to then I'll definitely come back here. Do yourself a favor and give this shop a shot. read more

Since my car has to be "Star Certified" now for my smog I have ONLY been coming here, that's how fast, reliable and friendly they are. Always greeted with a smile and a hello by the lovely lady behind the counter, if you're a returning customer they put a little smiley face on your paperwork so that way they can bring up your past visit and make sure you're up to par. I know there's a few Star Certified places on the same road, but why go anywhere else!? They have everything you could want here. Note: if you have an older model vehicle, I believe she said anything in the 90s and lower, it's by "appointment only". She was sweet enough to let a guy come up and do it today, but next time it has to be by appointment only. Newer vehicles can come down that day and get it done. Business has picked up a lot since Covid-19, so be prepared for a little wait in the morning, I came by in the afternoon last week and it was quiet, but they do have a tendency to close early sometimes so call ahead before you come down. read more

Fast, courteous, and professional! They did an amazing job on smog checking three of our vehicles. I'll be back!

The service was quick and affordable. But the customer service was so bad. The workers are not patience if you have questions or come unprepared. They were so short and rude when I talked to them. Very uncommunicative. If you wanna get it quick and cheap go ahead. If you want a nice interaction go somewhere else. read more

Quickly done and at a fair price. The girl up front was super friendly and helpful. Will bring my vehicle back.

This is such a great place good customer service convenient hours and a fast service.

Called a few places and this was the cheapest. My smog test very went smoothly and didnt require an appointment. Overheard an employee (possibly owner) help multiple people with a lot of patience and he seemed very helpful. Highly recommended. read more

Have gone here at least three times for a STAR smog; the service itself is always reliable and reasonably quick. However, this time a woman (co-owner?) was the one at the front office. For unknown reasons she sits yards away, with her back facing the customer window...takes forever to get up, comes across as hostile. Doesn't say *a word*--like "Can I help you?" or even "Hi." While waiting for the service, it didn't take me long to figure out that she goes overboard trying to please the male customers. Tsk, unprofessional. I may reconsider and try another place next time. read more

Fantastic efficient service. Was in and out within 20 minutes. Bonus: fun fish tanks in the lobby.

Called several places and Visalia Green Smog was the cheapest. I asked to make an appointment and the woman on the phone told me it wasn't necessary. Service wasn't that fast b/c there were a couple of people in front of me which I can totally understand although I would've liked to have been able to make an appointment to avoid that wait. Waited about 40 mins, but you can't beat the price so they get 5 stars. read more

First time getting a vehicle smogged and this place was clean, cool (perfect for a hot day) and Sarah was very sweet. I was in and out within 20 minutes and my certificate was sent immediately to the DMV. Will definitely be going back in the future. read more

Got my car smogged here during the pandemic when most businesses were still closed. I was selling my car and a smog is usually required. So I called around and this was the only place that answered their phone. I drove over there and it was kind of busy. I'm guessing because all the other places were closed. It was quite a long wait, but the people were really nice. read more

I selected this business for my smog test because of the Yelp reviews. I see why they have a 5-Star rating! They were pleasant and informative when I called. When I arrived they were courteous, professional and quick! Highly recommend this business!! read more

Star smogged my 2003 Dodge Ram truck. They even had a super helpful female technician. Fast friendly and efficient.

This was my first time going to Visalia Green Smog. They are very courteous in the front office and did a thorough job on my smog test. Additionally I was informed about a crack in one of my engine hoses. The mechanic said I should get the hose fixed in the next few months. Again a very professional business. I'm going back next time I need a smog test. read more

They don't serve vanilla lottes and pumpkin scones while you wait. But what they DO is smog check your vehicle quickly, efficiently at a reasonable price. Great customer service with a smile. They will take appointments. Have taken our cars there for smog checks for ten years. A very nice woman runs the front counter. A test only facility. read more

Saw this business on Yelp with good reviews and RV testing was mentioned. Also, they are open on Saturday which was a plus. Went in on a Saturday afternoon, friendly service, no problem with bringing in an RV - he didn't bat an eye. Said it would be done in 15 minutes and it was. Fixed price, reasonable, fast friendly service. I'll be back. read more

I recommend it 100%. They are fast, friendly and just good people to do business with. I am new to the area and had gone to a different station at first (bad experience there). I fixed my car, and went here after reading the reviews to get it tested, and I am thankful I found them. They're good people. I will be going here from now on for both my car and my wife's car. read more

Great place! Staff was friendly and very fast Service. They also give a military discount! The turtles was the coolest part.
