We have been to quite a few baseball games and can give a pretty good rating to this experience. Parking is easy and free on the street. The concessions are priced fairly while still making a profit. Tickets are priced well and pretty much every seat has a good view. The crowd is a melting pot of America with lots of hard working folks, retirees and families all enjoying a baseball game. We saw lots of conservative folk and even more liberal folks all getting along despite deep divisions in philosophy. Only one guy was pushing his paranoia with the nonsensical shirt but everyone ignored him. read more

This place is so fun! I came here with my husband and two dogs. They love dogs here! They have a large grass area called "The Pasture." It seems like a general admission section that caters to dogs and families. We sat at one of the picnic tables and I laid a sheet down for my dogs. Several staff members greeted us and we even got a welcome basket filled with dog stuff. There was an off leash dog park too but I didn't check it out. The Rawhides are the Minor League team for the Arizona Diamondbacks. read more

This was our first time watching a pro team play here at Valley Strong Baseball Park. We traveled from Bakersfield to watch the Rawhide take on the Storm from Lake Elsinore. From the first step coming into the park, the ticket taker bringing us up the outside steps because we couldn't open up the site to upload our tickets, to Taylor giving a game ball to one of our friends who will have a hip surgery in 2 weeks. Every soul that dealt with us was top shelf! Because of our friends very bad hip, the powers at be gave us the option of sitting just behind staging /entry area near the home team dugout . There was a folding table and 5 chairs. They were very good seats! Now, because of their kindness, Eddie didn't have to deal with climbing a bunch of stairs. We will be back! read more

Went here with hall of fame access and the service was horrible!! Rawhide discriminated against its patrons. They pick and choose who gets service and who gets their food first and make it very obvious. We asked to take a picture with tipper and they told us no yet another group of caucasian girls ran up and asked for a picture and they said yeah! so disappointed with the service and treatment. Never again. Do better. read more

I went and saw my first "Visalia Rawhide" baseball game at Visalia, CA on 8/5/2012. The "Rawhide" are a high A minor league team that plays in the California League. They beat their opponents the Stockton Ports soundly --- 8 to 2. The price of my ticket was $13.00 and I got to sit in Row A (the first row). It was great. I parked my R.V. "The Black Pearl" right across the street from the ballpark for free. The ballpark has a quaint feel to it - like many small minor league ballparks. For food I tried the pulled pork plate at "Sissy's BBQ" (a tent stand inside the ballpark) for $8.50 (it came with beans and cole slaw). Later I had a "sweet tea" from a vendor for $4.00 (I thought that a little high). All in all a pleasant way to spend an evening in Visalia. read more

Came out to support the 559 Fights, 6/19/2021! Was not happy that if you purchased a can beer at the original concession stand (north of the Diamond field) next to the restrooms, staff members are to be open your canned beers! We were told that it was their policies! If it really is a policy then why didn't the other concessions stands follow it! It's unsanitary for staff to open it! I would've been more than happy to open my own drink in-front of them if kindly asked! As for the restrooms attached to the building, the last time we were there was in 2019 for the michelada festival and the first restroom stall in the women's restroom was out of order back then and still out of order yesterday. No soap dispensers in the ladies restrooms, after this whole COVID-19 scare how can there now NOT be any soap dispensers! In my Google search automatic soap dispensers are only $33. My husband said the ONE soap dispenser in the men's restroom was empty! I'm just really disappointed that proper maintenance isn't being kept up! read more

Box seats at the game were great. Food was horrible, four happy meals would have been better! Hamburgers were cold, pork sandwich was disgusting, chicken sandwich was terrible. Had to pay six dollars per drink and then another four dollars if we wanted a refill. Food was overpriced and tasted disgusting! Was considering buying more season tickets before, but now we will never go back. read more
