History

Established in 2017.

Visan Massage & Bodywork established in 2017, by Nickole Renea Visan, MSOL/LMT. Nickole is an active Student Member of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA),and is currently completing her Masters and clinical residency in Ayurvedic and Integrative Medicine at Maharishi International University in Fairfield, Iowa. Visan Massage & Bodywork; infusing therapeutic bodywork with awakening ones innate healing capacities utilizing Maharishi Ayurveda.

Meet the Business Owner: Nickole V.

Nickole served the community in past years as an addiction and mental health professional. After becoming a mom in 2013, she shifted gears to a more hands-on approach to helping others cope with pain of all forms physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. In 2014, Nickole began her studies in therapeutic bodywork by attending the Academy of Massage & Bodywork in Bear, Delaware. Soon after, she completed her state licensure. In two short years she had trained with Erik Dalton in Coasta Rica, John F. Barnes in Las Vegas and Rey Allen in Boston. Specializing Modalities: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Reflexology, Myofasical Release, Myoskeletal Alignment Therapy, DermoNeuroModulation, Hot Stone, Pre/Post Pregnancy, Kinesiology Taping, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization and NeuroKinetic Therapy Level-1.
