This might be long - I had Tanya as my massage therapist about a week ago. I went in for back pain and she 100% helped me. As a bonus, I came out completely relaxed which I did not even know I needed. Not only was she a very talented massage therapist, she was also very educated in her practice, and in that 90 minutes I met SUCH A GOOD PERSON. We chatted, but I could tell she was very sensitive to know if someone just wanted complete silence too. In short, I received one of the best massages I've ever had, but also felt heard as far as my pain goes, and met an extremely special person. Worth every penny. read more

My husband and I had a couples massage while on vacation. From booking the service to our massages was wonderful. Our masseuses-Casey and Susan were exceptional! We get massages regularly and they were some of the best we ever had. The only draw back and it was disappointing because it really dampened our mood leaving the massages on such a high- was checking out. We are from Baltimore and the receptionist first said "dangerous" and then proceeded to tell us her bad experience in Baltimore. It was a bad experience- however as people who live in, work for and love our City- we didn't need to hear this. It was deflating. I should note- I've lived in Baltimore for 34 years and have never been a victim of any crime. Go for the services! Hands down - the clinicians are amazing. The ambiance is wonderful, all of the staff was very helpful and nice. We got a couple's massage for an hour and it was the absolute best. Before we started my masseuse Cece asked if I had a massage before. Of course I told her, yes. I threw my back out while in Ocean City. I had a really rough night with pain. I texted early in the morning asking for an appointment. They said they were booked, so I asked to be notified if someone cancels. Probably within an hour or two I received a text that someone had canceled, and I could come in. When I arrived, I was really impressed with the location and look of the spa. I explained my problems and the therapist could not have been better. She was nice, friendly, and extremely good at what she did. I truly appreciated their professionalism and timely assistance. read more

The facility is very professional and well-run. My massage therapist protected sore areas and places where I previously had surgery. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and picked the location based on their Yelp review. I can only rate them with four stars because there is no facility to shower either before or after. I did shower before leaving home, but I like to shower after a massage and comb my hair afterward. There were no facilities to groom or at least put yourself together afterward. The pricing is comparable to local pricing where I live, where I can expect to find these amenities. I was disappointed they were not available. It would have provided a five-star review. read more

I've been here a few times. Finding a massage therapist that meets your needs is hard but it seems like they have everything from light pressure to intense pressure massages. I called for a deep pressure massage and the front desk recommended Chris. From the initial introduction to the end, I could tell Chris had the knowledge for deep tissue. I had an amazing massage. CeCe is a great massage therapist! The atmosphere however is very unprofessional and LOUD!! We have told them every time we were there to please keep it to a whisper in the lobby. I'm baffled by the other review that I saw on yelp for Bethany Massage. This place is, by far, the best massage place I have ever been to, including all of the fancy spots in the Washington DC area (such as the Ritz Carlton in McLean) and Las Vegas (such as the spa in Caesars Palace and Bellagio). The rooms are quiet and nicely decorated with flowers on the ceiling. They change the flowers based on the season. The massage therapists are all outstanding. They are very strong and can work on your ailments. I wish I could go more often, but I live several hours away and only come to the Bethany area every few months. I have been going for massage for over 20 years and know what I am discussing. This place is fabulous! read more

While visiting Bethany Beach, DE took time to have a 90 minute massage here. My partner did one at the same time. He says this massage therapist was one of the best he's ever had. I had a great experience here again. Not just the massage, which helped work out a terrible knot I had in my back. The massage therapist agreed to come in 30 mints early so I could maximize my beach time later. The room was comfortable and the therapist was friendly and professional. I lost my receipt that my insurance company required to reimburse (no credit card slips) and they cheerfully agreed to email me another. This was one of the BEST massages I have ever had. I'm in town from LA and I needed some help with my neck, shoulders and apparently my hips too. Chris was absolutely wonderful and so intuitive. I had a 60 minute deep tissue massage and I left feeling like I was floating. Chris was really able to tune in and tap some of my problem areas with old injuries and chronic stress. 10/10 would recommend getting a facial at this location! I chose to come to this spa to get an acne facial because I suffer from very bad hormonal acne and my skin was in serious need of a deep cleansing. I arrived to the spa and the staff was extremely welcoming and answered any and very question I had, this was my first facial so I had many questions! Monica is the leading esthetician and was the one who did my facial. Before beginning the facial, Monica explained each product that was going to be used on my face. The facial was very relaxing and the atmosphere was overall great. She was very gentle with my face and the results were amazing. My skin was GLOWING after the facial and my skin has never looked better. I waited a week after my facial to review the spa to see if the facial had long lasting results, and let me just say that there definitely were! My skin is still glowing and soft from from the t few Armenta and my acne has reduced. Even my issue with the mascne (acne caused by mask wearing) had lessened. I have been an avid spa goer for 20+ years and have been visiting Bethany Massage and Healing Arts for the past 4 years on a regular basis in order to see Alice who is excellent. Since the company changed hands it no longer seems to understand the point of massage which in my opinion is harmony and wellness. The receptionist is extremely rude, the owner is clueless on how to run a business and the expectation that you can "escape" and trust the people in a "wellness center" to care about you as an individual no longer exists here. I recommend that you DO NOT trust these people to care for you. DO NOT buy a gift certificate from them as they may just decide that they don't want to honor it. Give yourself the courtesy to at least check them out on the BBB before you make that appointment. They are crooked as crooked can be. read more

I had the best massage of my life yesterday (good enough to sign up for Yelp and post a review!). My massage therapist, Alyce, started slowly, loosening up my muscles so I could take some deep tissue work. I've resisted deep tissue massage since a painful experience many years ago, but this was fantastic! She managed to massage each arm, leg, and of course my back, neck, and shoulders, in an integrated way (meaning I didn't feel like she was measuring her time on each limb). And it's not only Alyce that stands out...my fiance also felt he'd had the best massage of his life (I don't remember who worked on him). The facilities are basic (it's not a cushy spa), but the rooms were dark and comfortable, the table was warm and the music was relaxing. A white noise machine blocked the sound of voices from outside the door. I will definitely go back next time I'm in Bethany Beach! read more
