Communication!! I had an eye exam done on September 24 as I lost my glasses in the lake. Dr. Gannon was great. After the eye exam, I ordered a new pair of glasses at the front desk and I was told it would take 10-14 business days before the glasses would be available. That is a really long time to be without glasses, especially if you see as poorly as I do!! On September 30, I received this text from the Vision Center South: "Hi Douglas --------, this is Eye Partners, P.C.. We would like to communicate with you via text. Reply YES or Y to grant us permission." I immediately responded "Y", thinking that an additional text would come to notify me of the arrival of my new glasses. Today, October 15 (21 days later), I walked into the Vision Center South to check on my glasses because the 10-14 business days have passed. Although I have received no other communications concerning my glasses, I was excited to find that my glasses were on the shelf there in the office and I was able to get them! I was extremely disappointed to find out that my glasses have been on the shelf on the office since I received the first and only communication from the Vision Center, on September 30th!!! You would think someone in the office would reach out to notify you that the glasses were ready to be picked up! It seems that "processing" is more important than "patient care", and both need improvement. read more

I didn't even get to get in the door for my eye exam. I took time off of work so I could finally get an updated prescription and they call me four hours before my appointment to tell me it's canceled due to a scheduled power outage. why schedule appointments on the day you won't have power? then they have no other locations who can take me and all they said was to call back tomorrow and reschedule. why? so I can wait a month to two months for an appointment again? read more

The optometrist was fine, but everything else was abizmal, including their incompetent administrative staff and corporate customer service. Too many complaints to list, but I'll simply say avoid this place if you are looking for glasses or contacts. read more

The exam was fine, but overall this place is terrible. My husband and I both waited forever on our glasses to arrive so they could be picked up which we paid an arm and a leg for. I then decided that I wanted to order contacts as well. I called to see if they could use my same prescription for contacts. I had to pay for a "contact fitting" exam, where she literally handed me contacts, I put them in, and that's it. No eye exam to see "how they fit" so it was laughable to say the least. I was then told I had to order them through their website.. which of course they picked the highest priced brand there was. Ordered them, waited TWO MONTHS (which I consistently called and asked), was transferred multiple times to someone who never answered, left voicemails and never received a call back, then I finally sent an email which was responded to -- "The contacts weren't approved in the system so I needed to go back and reorder them & she will approve them right away". Excuse me.. what?? Every staff member just needs to be fired because this place is a joke. read more
