My employer gave me a few options to come in and get safety glasses. While I was at it, I got a personal set also. My personal ones came in much sooner than the safety glasses. The prescription was not right and it made my car dash seem tilted. They redid the prescription and it still did not seem right. They convinced me it was due to my first set of progressive lenses. My safety glasses were also not right. Fast forward a few months, I went to a different place, and they told me the prescription I got from Foxhill were not right for me. It also took over an hour of the doctor having me look at charts while changing lenses at the second place where Foxhill I was in/out in less than 30 min. read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! This clinic has shady business practices when it comes to selling contacts. I ordered over $500 worth of contacts and promised a $200 rebate. By the time I found out that my contacts were ready, the rebate had expired. The clinic NEVER notified me that my contacts were ready for pickup and BLAMED ME for never picking them up. I was told that they sent me a text message when the contacts were ready. The clinic also could have notified me that I have 60 days to complete the rebate at the time of purchase. I saw Dr. Smith on Saturday, at the recommendation of my spouse who saw her and had a good experience. I was nervous because I've had very lackluster experiences with other, chain vision clinics and I also don't use my legal name (because I'm trans) in everyday life, which can be a problem. But my worries were for nothing. Their forms ask for your name, then there's a box to check yes or no if it's your legal name; if not, you check no and write in your legal name. I appreciate this since any name you use in everyday life will be the first one they look up and it makes it really great, especially for transgender people. Front desk staff was super friendly and prompt with paperwork. They also went over how much our insurance would cover based on a benefits list before the appointment started, which was a nice surprise. Dr. Smith was really friendly and, boy, does she have the puff test down. She only had to puff me once in each eye; every other place I've been to has to do it several times. I opted to try the OptoMap because getting your eyes dilated sucks and technology is cool. I HIGHLY recommend doing this if you feel you need a better look at your eyes because it was painless, didn't leave me half blind for several hours, and Dr. Smith showed me the pictures of the insides of my eyes and explained them. She also was extremely thorough with my exam and made me feel confident in her abilities. I had a chance to browse the eyeglasses before my appointment but I hadn't found anything I was in love with so I browsed some more afterward. Staff was very friendly and helpful while I looked. Once I found one I liked, they picked out a few similar to them and helped me decide which ones looked the best on me. I'm very pleased with my experience and I'm so glad to have found a vision clinic with staff and doctors who care. I can't wait for my glasses to come in! read more

My son and I always get treated very well when we go in for our check ups. The lady (I can't remember her name!) at the front desk who helps fit your glasses is definitely one of the main reasons that we keep coming back. i went in for my appointment on the 26th of January and service was amazing, the lady that helped me pick out my glasses was awesome! They told me it should be about 2-3 weeks so about Feb. 9 for pickup, it is now March 4th and they have finally arrived, but I know this because I called in, they didn't call me. I have been calling in every week though to get an update and they did let me know they should be ready today (Thursday). since she told me that, I scheduled my lunch at work around a time that would work to go pick them up and she informs me barely today that I have to make an appointment to pick them up. I get why, but why didn't they tell me this before when they know how long I've been waiting on my glasses and when I've been calling in every week. First come first serve is what they said but what about patients who have been waiting way over a month due to problems on their end??? I'm needing my glasses so bad, and there's nothing I can do about it since I can't pick up until next week now. Before this clinic was taken over by the two current doctors it was fantastic. Mary Fry tag took great care of everyone. Now they(doctors and staff) are dishonest and just plain rude. When I made my appointment they failed to tell me Mrs. Frytag retired and I would be seeing someone new. I canceled my appointment but they still billed my insurance. In doing so I had to pay out of pocket for an exam a week later. Do not go to them. They treat you like a number and are more concerned with making money than helping their patients. read more
