When I called Vision Home Inspections, a nice lady answered. I called her three times within a few minutes (my husband called, had to go...forgot a question, had to call back, etc.). She was very patient, gave me information I didn't know to ask for & answered all my questions. She set up an appointment for Thursday (I called on Monday & was hoping to get it done this week) & gave us a military discount (ask about it). She thanked us for our service (a little extra niceness), sent the contract by email & made me feel better with her professionalism. John was early, very nice & patiently answered all of our questions while inspecting our home. He discussed things we had noticed already first, took his time going through everything & prepared a detailed report within a few hours. Our inspection was thorough (they used a thermal gun on the walls) and the report detailed with pictures. I requested a printed copy also & that will be mailed to me at no extra charge. When I emailed him about prices he was very quick to respond. He went above and beyond to work with me for my unique circumstances in the home. The woman that scheduled my appointment even called back after thinking on it to make sure that I wasn't being bullied into pushing it off for a week by the sellers. Was able to meet me at a later time to conduct the inspection due to my work schedule. Included 2 inspector's which made the process go by quicker. I was able to walk along through the process and ask questions about location of filters, the fuse box, etc. An added bonus, James provided me with some extremely helpful home maintenance tips. Anything from a non-grounded outlet to a small crack in the concrete that could cause someone to trip.
