I have been going for years, since this was located in Scottsdale. A fun shop with a nice vibe. I've seen several of the psychics there among my favorite are Lisa, Jerry (Geri?), Tony, April(owner) and others. It's fascinating to see what comes up and what resounds with me. I always think "ok what if?" and watch to see how on or off some predictions are. Jerry (Geri?) is my most recent favorite. However I've only had one reading in the past year and a half. Let me tell you boy is she on the money. Painfully so. (And don't be scared ~ people always tell me they don't want to know or hear anything bad. Seldom are death predictions made, and "bad" is subjective.) Her reading was in depth and detailed about an issue just recently made true. I used to frequent this place a few years ago. I was not impressed and many of their predictions proved to be not real and therefore none of them ever came true for me. I did have one of their psychics tell me some true things about a toxic relationship I was in, but I feel that any regular person with insight or a counselor could've told me the same things. I've continued to look for a genuine psychic but to no avail. PS. I also had a medium psychic contact a dead relative and maybe one thing resonated with this person, but again, nothing impressive. read more

Was complete ignored and then given a dirty look by a cashier when I mentioned it was a good time to be wearing her Brigid's cross...she dismissed me outright when I was asking for help with the tarot cards and then started up a conversation with her friend. You would think in a store like that they would recognize what I was there for AND the importance of it. ESPECIALLY after I told one cashier who greeted me, why I was there...I hate places that claim to be "metaphysical" and really they are just elitists. "Arcadia" at its finest. This shop is fantastic. The vibe is warm and welcoming. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, kind and helpful. We purchased some essential oils, gorgeous sacred geometry cards (handmade by a local artisan), books (impressive selection of both new and previously owned in the shop!), and some crystals to add to our collection. It's not even close to my house but it is definitely now my go to spiritual store. Highly recommend checking it out. Keep up the good work and high vibes Vision Quest crew! I signed up for their e-mails, got a Psychic fair invite for classes and offerings for this weekend and decided to check it out. Apparently, it happens twice a year (Jan and July). They were super busy so I almost walked out but noticed new incense and oils and got happily distracted. When paying at the counter, the employees and owner were very friendly and immediately offered an opening for a read. I've had other good experiences with their readers since moving to Phoenix, but Bonnie was amazing! If you have any medical questions or "deeper" life questions, she can tap right in and give solid feedback. This location has a different feel than the older Scttsdale location, but if you're patient, it's worth the wait. I'm pretty receptive to good readers, and have walked out with plenty of information and things to think about. I'm also highly critical and will raise the b.s. flag instantly if someone is directing me or dictating "me to me" in any way. I've had nothing but positive experiences here the past few visits; bear in mind each reader does have a different feel and gift. The pricing is better with cash:) I have yet to check out the free classes tomorrow but I've consistently gotten a friendly but "respect for my space vibe", which I appreciate. This may not be everyone's cup of tea but every experience has its place/meaning. This is my 100th review!!!! So far, so good. I walked in today in order to obtain 2 each 7-day INTENTION candles that a Reiki-trained friend of mine suggested. I chose one each in Healing and Prosperity. Both are green and relate to the 4th, green, or heart chakra; and were created with intention, herbs, oils, and crystals by a certified priestess. I also purchased 2 small, affordable quartz crystals to wear on my person during the daytime. VQ is advertised as a bookstore, but it's truly a metaphysical shop with all things woo-woo: smudge and incense sticks, oils, singing bowls, prayer flags, intention/meditation candles, crystals, etc. Plus, they have astrologers, psychics, and Reiki-trained personnel on standby in the shop and by appointment. The set up reminds me of a co-op because different vendors sell a variety of metaphysical goods and services in the store. The customer service is great and I was able to complete my quest (ie, make a purchase) today despite the power going out due to construction issues in that area of town. UPDATE: About a month after burning the candles, I went through major healing. Unfortunately, I did not get the job I applied. Did this work? That's up for you to decide!!! read more

The new location is great! It's smaller, yes, but the atmosphere is more cozy and happy. The inventory is pretty much the same, (cool stuff that's hard to find anywhere else in the valley) plus they've added more product. Jimmy's Stones and Sondra's candles fantastic and magical. Great addition. The staff members are personable and the readers, I know, are educated and professional. I trust any one of them when I want a reading. Whenever I'm in town I go to V.Q. Vision Quest is my favorite metaphysical store in the Phoenix area, but I'm mostly here to review a reading/healing I had recently with Stacy Lynn. I consulted her because I was feeling depressed and despondent and couldn't figure out why, or how to shake it off. I had stopped taking care of myself and gained a lot of weight. I didn't bother wearing anything nice anymore, because I had a "why bother?" feeling about it. It was bad. We started with a tarot reading, which then turned into an Akashic Record reading, because the issue went deeper than the cards could show. She saw amazing (and highly accurate) things and was able to ascertain the cause of my depression. She then did an energy clearing/healing, which was fascinating to watch. She does get quiet for long stretches of time, but that's not because she's not doing anything. In fact, that's when she's doing the most powerful work. I didn't know what to expect afterwards, but I definitely felt much lighter. The next day I was back to my old self, smiling again. I hadn't lain awake all night with anxiety and bad dreams. As a metaphysical store, the books and other items where up to date and modern for the customers to buy. Also the psychics that does readings/healing seemed very aware of their custom. Came in this week for a reading and was extremely glad I did. I was hesitant at first because it has been awhile since I've had any sort of reading and I always thought they were a gimmick, sometimes little things happen but most of the time it's like their guessing. Upon coming in I was greeted by the staff who were masked up and cleaning which was comforting to see and made me feel a bit more secure. I was asked if I was there for a reading and It took me back a bit cause I wasn't sure if I should have or needed to make an appointment. Luckily, they do allow walkins and accommodate them. I was given the option of how long I'd like my reading for and they do allow 20 mins and up. I was taken back to a station where a beautiful woman was sitting waiting for me. It was then that I was introduced to an amazing soul named Jenni. Her energy is amazing even at first glance and I was comfortable in her presence so that helped me ease into the flow. Jenni began my reading and the things she knew right off the bat showed me this was nooooo gimmick. My eyes got huge and I literally mouthed the words "W T F" at what she was saying. How did she know this?!? Right away she knew how I was feeling about a huge decision I was facing, who was involved and she did a full lay out for it. She gave me advice not just from the cards but her knowledge of law attraction is truly amazing and she is VERY and I mean VERY gifted. She words things where you just get it. No fluff, no bs. It was all raw truth and it had me in tears. I bawled like a baby and I never do that. She just knew so much. This store and Jenni have restored my spirit so much in such a chaotic and difficult time in life with everything going on. After my reading I asked Jenni about some crystals and not only did she know the tarot like she was born with but she knew crystals and how to cleanse and care for them. The staff of this store is absolutely amazing and a true god send to me. The only thing I will say is I wish the reading areas were a bit more private because Jenni can really dig up info and she even asked how much of what she was getting did she want me to expose because there were people walking around and stuff. I told her to go for it, but when she did I was very very shocked and it did make me cry how much she knew. For that I do wish I had some more privacy in that regard. Other than that I loved everything about my experience and I will be back as much as I can to have Jenni read for me. If you're a skeptic at all, you want Jenni. Favorite store ever! Kinda sad they downsized from their previous location where they had more stuff. But I come for the readings. Some totally accurate, some not so much. I recommend Jheri. I have see her quite a few times and she is always on point. I have tried a few of the others. I love their vast selection of books and inspirational materials. Based in my opinion, according to my observations and experience: I stopped in for some fun gifts. Tried a 30 min. reading, but was reluctant to use the one named Lisa. I definately should have listened to my own pshyc. Not only was she not spiritual, unaware, and way off in her blah blah, but started spouting off laws that were not legitimate. When someone starts quoting the law to customers, it better be legal, ethical morale, and accurate. I abruptly stopped after 5 minutes and refused to listen to anymore nonsense. She seemed to have a bad attitude towards the customer and her beliefs should be unbias when consulting spirit. I peddled my business down the road for gifts elsewhere where the spiritual energy was mellow and harmonious and the fits I will give will have harmonious energy. The front desk clerk at Vision Quest was very pleasant and sweet and tried to make it right but the poor representation of spirtuality just doesnt seem to be with this one individual. read more

The people who work at the cash register are so nice and make you feel at home but if you use your phone (even on silent) to check anything ( your bank account for example like i did) be prepared for a completely uncalled for over reacting by the owner (even after respectfully turning off your phone) also you would have no idea if not for the tiny signs since everyone who works there is on there phone. I will personally not be returning due to the rudeness and unwelcoming attack i got from her i feel as though she has no care for her customers. I am very picky about psychic readers as it is really hard to find accurate readers. I haven't wanted a reading in many years, but apx 4 1/2 months ago, I wanted some insight on a situation. I have purchased a certain calendar at this store for years. Setting up the appointment, the gal was very friendly. My reading was with Geri. I found Geri to be very nice, down to earth & relatable. The reading was interesting, not what I expected her to say, but would have been very happy if things turned out as she stated. Time passed and based on some factors, I THOUGHT she was wrong. Well, there was a very sudden turn of events...and Geri was correct after all! A few minor details were not accurate, but that didn't matter. Geri got the big picture and some other added info correct, and no psychic is 100%. Geri is very good. I would give Geri a 5 star. The 4 stars is based off a conversation with one of the managers awhile ago. Although things ended up ok, I felt there was a bit of an attitude. If I want another reading, I will go to Geri again. read more

So after my first visit (which was less than ideal), the owner Beth reached out to me to make things right. I called today and made an appointment for the same day and requested StacyLynn. Because she was a different psychic than what Beth and I had discussed, I had to speak to the assistant manager (her name starts with a D- I wanna say Donnie, but for the life of me, I can't remember her full name). The reading started off a bit slow, but later Vikki started to reveal details that made my jaw drop. I was miserable at my workplace and was interviewing at a lot of places. She was able to describe each opportunity down to what the people I interviewed with- looked like/their age, etc. She made me take a big look at an opportunity that I brushed off. The job was far away, and it just didn't appeal to me, so I didn't even follow up after the interview. She encouraged me to go after this opportunity, to relocate locally and explained how the move would change my life in other aspects for the better. 2 months later, I've taken this job, relocated, and I have the most amazing new life.
