After a long drive from Canton, Ohio I found this location adjacent to Crocker Park. This area and the people shopping reminded me of an area in Orange County, California that I use to live in. Great Shopping, well dressed shoppers and exclusive findings. Well, that's what I experienced when I walked in Eye Candy and my mouth started drooling as the merchandise was sweet. Now the store isn't that spacious, but trust me you will instantly see glasses that you have never seen. To start I was warmly welcomed by two well dressed ladies, both wearing amazing glasses that just made their aesthetic pop. Then I saw whom I believed was a physician leaving with awesome glasses that gave character and pizzazz. I scoped out the pair of Cartier glasses that had my interest but decided to purchase a pair of Erker frames. Finally , I have another pair of frames for one of my outfits but, this time a pair that truly fits my face and pupillary distance. Thank you so much Francine for your human kindness and your professionalism. Now, here's what made this establishment exceptional. After being measured, I walked out with my single vision frames completed in approximately 15 minutes. I've never had that happen to me and in today's environment most optical location have eliminated their lab. So, if you want temptation, go here. If you want service, go here. They were confident their Zeiss lab -- in Kentucky or Germany -- could handle it, and they were absolutely right. I chose a pair of fantastic blue frames that really complement my face and style. For years my lenses have been thick, but Eye Candy was able to use 1.74 glass lenses that are the thinnest I've ever had. They took a bit longer since they were made in Germany, but the first-time quality was perfect. I'm over the moon with my new glasses. Outstanding service, expertise, and results. The doctor checked his vision and said he needed a new prescription that required specialized lens. He is a truck driver so it's important that he get the correct prescription for his needs! After the exam this ophthalmologist said the new glasses would cost close to $1,000!! We decided to take the new prescription to America's Best at the North Olmsted location. The store was very clean and well organized and upon arriving we were greeted with a smile. Our technician was Selena Ortiz and she was a delight to work with! She was kind, professional and very knowledgeable about these new "special lens" my husband required! She explained in depth how they functioned and how they would help my husband! She was very patient with all of our questions as well! When all was said and done the lens that a private ophthalmologist wanted almost $1,000 for ended up costing us half that price! Terrible customer service. Got an eye exam from an optometrist on tv/zoom virtually I guess…read more Ordered my glasses and was told 1 week. 2 1/2 weeks later my glasses were finally in. It took them three attempts and weeks to get the bi focal placement right in the lenses. Final straw was today I broke the arm of my sunglasses..not the frame at all the frame and lenses are perfect I took them up to the store expecting to be able to order and pay for a new arm. It's literally held on by a small screw! I was told somewhat rudely tonight that I'll have to have my lenses put into new frames they don't order parts for glasses. I'm done with this place. Do yourself a favor and go to Warby Parker like I should have. And will in the future.
