The school had already put my children in danger because of their actions so I was left with no choice but to homeschool them and when my youngest child became of age to attend high school I had to go to the ABC school district to get a waiver so she could attend high school somewhere else. I will say I was shocked to find out that the principal was still working there. The school district informed me that they had several complaints but were unable to replace him. I don't see that as a good reason for putting my children in harm's way. The school district has really dropped the ball with this school.

We have NEVER had a teacher we did not appreciate. As for the posts regarding bullying. . .I wonder if they are reaching out? Is the school aware of what is going on? I have had bullying issues with my child being on both ends and the school has not only contacted me immediately but helped resolve the issues, whether is be a meeting with teacher/principal, a phone call, or a sit down with other parents. They do have high turn over for principals but it has never really caused us any issues. And they do stress attendance but I cannot imagine any school not. Regular attendance helps the teacher & student build a relationship. Attendance is important!!

Or how to find the area of a 2 by 3 concrete slab. No joke. All three couldn't calculate it. And one was a "math wiz" of that normal looking group on my block. And it's nice to meet people at the front office who don't seem angry all the time. Someone missed their calling at our last two schools. Great and complete curriculum so far. Seems much more serious a school. Also the kids have fun for sure too. No major issues so far. Will check in later after he's been there longer. They got me to put off a decision on charter schools for a little longer.

Once during the first semester there were maybe 3-4 fights in one week, almost 2 in a day once. It was so bad for about 2 days we weren't allowed to move lunch tables or get up out of our seats at lunch. Not to mention there are multiple gang members at this school. As im writing this, there was almost a fight yesterday and a fight INSIDE A CLASSROOM 2 weeks ago. 2. Staff. Where do I even begin..... The staff is rude to students. If you have any concerns, I'd recommend talking to the vice principal Mr Mcleoud as he is the nicest and most understanding staff member on campus. The principal is rude and treats the school like a prison. She is sooo rude to students, and people are scared of her as she targets random kids for no reason to say something to when they aren't doing anything. There are no backpacks allowed on campus which causes students stuff to get stolen, such as chromebooks and more. When you ask them to look at the cameras so you don't have to pay a $400 fee to replace your Chromebook that was stolen, they don't listen and never cooperate with you. The staff in the office is rude sometimes except for one nice lady. Most of the teachers don't teach at all, and ms Kaiser hates children and teaches like the principal from the movie Matilda. The only teachers that genuinely teach and are good at what they do is Mr Courdy and Ms Sollecito. Not to mention basically none of the teachers respond to emails when you or a parent have questions or concerns.
