This hotel was older, but reasonably well kept up. The air conditioner worked, but it was either on or off, so you couldn't maintain a comfortable temperature. The security chain on the door was broken which was a little concerning, but the area was quiet and the wi-fi was great. In the morning, I arrived in the breakfast area for coffee at 7a, but the coffee pot was already empty. I returned to the area once more, but I never did get in on the coffee. read more

It's relatively clean. If you don't mind fresh smelling sheets that are stained. The room has a general clean appearance. The bathroom and toilet has tons of stains all over them. I brought colorox wipes and cleaned everything and still feel a little icky. The towels are all stained. I used my own. The grossest thing I saw was a snot under the covers. GROSS. GROSS. GROSS. I pulled out my beach towels and slept on top of them. They are trying to provide a decent motel for a decent price, but I would advise going somewhere else. I have been out looking around and will be leaving as soon as I can secure something else. Some shady characters hanging around the parking lot talking on cell phones and drinking beer all night. This place was no-good. As another reviewer said, the whole place is dingy. The sheets were clearly clean and laundry-smelling, but they were stained and old and just no good. The pillows were insanely lumpy and sparse (only 3 for a king bed) and the comforter looked sinister. The carpet was dingy, old, stained, and our couch had old cigarette burns on it. The comforter had a cig burn, as well. The hotel is non-smoking but the stench still lingers in the paint and the carpets. The bathroom was OK clean but could use some sprucing up. The water flow of the shower was nice and at least there was a flatscreen TV. Refrigerator and microwave in the standard room were nice touches, especially for the few beers we wanted chilled while we were hanging out. Decent Mexican restaurant right in the same parking lot, so worth a go if you're hungry and don't feel like driving anywhere. The $59 price tag per night was NOT WORTH IT for the quality of this place, but the front desk service was nice and quick. The continental breakfast didn't seem worth staying for, so we went up the road to Starbucks and got something in the drive-thru before going on our way. Only 20 minutes from downtown Nashville and about 10 from The Hermitage, so it's not the worst place to stay if you find yourself on a serious budget (although $60 is expensive) and in need of a hotel room for a night. This exchange between my husband and the night desk clerk pretty much sums up what this hotel is all about: Hubs (calling desk): Hi, I'm in room 126. Would it be possible to get an extra pillow? The hotel was about half full, with a lot of rooms. It was a non-smoking hotel, but there was a twinge of smoke smell in my room. Continental breakfast was there, but no fresh fruit and we had to make our own coffee. Wi-fi quality was actually pretty good! read more

This place is downright horrible! First off trying to even find our room was a complete nightmare. We were in room 142 and couldn't find it due to it not being in between rooms 140 and 143. It was on another side of the building. That makes no sense!! When we finally found our room it was disgusting. There were hairs on the blankets and bugs in the room. I was hoping to get a good sleep after driving 10 hours, but couldn't. Whatever you do avoid this place at all cost. Also, the locks on the door wasn't that swell either. Wow. Just wow. How horrible this place is. I needed a cheap stay before my flight out, and I regret this place so. Bodily fluid stains on the comforter, sheets. Urine on the toilet seat and rim from a previous guest. Mold and mildew in the bathroom. Filthy toilet. Dusty, dirty, pathetic. I'm fairly certain the other people staying at the motel live there. I was in a non-smoking room... what a joke that was. The room next to it was smoking, and the adjoining room door was not flush to the frame, so light, noise, and smoke all came into my room. FILTHY. I tried speaking to the girl behind the counter. She only knew a few words of english. I tried telling her that the old tattered and faded American flag out front needed to be retired. She was clueless. Told a man later and he gave me a line about an "Army friend" that was going to take care of it. Bottom line: this place is a filthy dump and if you're travelling, you may acquire small itchy spots on your hands and arms like I did after staying in your room. It was dirt cheap though. There are literally bugs all over my room. When I tried to complain staff put me on hold and then finally asked me to call back. We simply want to move rooms. I also want to mention the plethora of bullet..... yes I said bullet holes from some type of fire arm in the windows on the back side of the building where they stuck us despite there having had open rooms in the front. The refrigerator leaks all over the place and I have yet to see house keeping come around to replace the towels I used to wipe up the mess. Oh and I'm out of TP. Have been since yesterday except I had the damn sense to bring my own just in case. The room is humid beyond belief. Had to bring my own dehumidifier to make it where I can breathe comfortably as I am an asthmatic that relies on nebulizer treatments. When asked if I can please just move to another room that feels 'safer' (there are continuously folks roaming around all night up and down the steps and in the parking lot) I was asked to call back in 5 min. And again 5 minutes after that. And again 5 min later. They offer no refund whatsoever so I am basically just shit out of luck for the money I shelled out to stay here for one week. I refuse to let my children stay in the this bug infested crime riddled shit hole. read more

This hotel by far is the worst one I have stayed in. The location is very nice but that is the only redeeming quality of this place. The lobby is a throwback to the 80's with anything but a full "executive" continental breakfast. The breakfast either waffles or cereal while the staff sits behind the desk staring at you. The rooms were hideous and cleaned by what looks like a homeless man that has no business cleaning. Half eaten bag of Doritos in a drawer, bathroom floor smelt of urine and not clean behind the toilet, walls were all mildew in the bathroom, sheets were stained and more. This place was bad. I have stayed in a few low class motels in the area, as I frequently visit this side of Nashville, but this is by far the worst place I have stayed in many, many years. The exterior door required excessive work to lock. To lock the door. That should be a code violation. The towels were stained. Or dirty. I'm hoping for stained. The bathroom was tiny. My knees touched the door while on the toilet. I am 5'8", not a giant. The toilet leaked all over the floor. Disgusting. The soaps they provided were worthless little squares. And the second day they only left me with 1 tiny little square soap. For 2 people at that. The breakfast they offer, wow, it was pathetic. They have the make-you-own waffle set up. Obviously they water down the mix as the waffle is hollow and thin. I am not a picky eater and to my knowledge, have never turned down breakfast at a motel, even when all they served were those tiny powdered boxed donuts, but this waffle was disgusting. I threw it away and left. Even the juices were watered down. Okay, the bed was comfortable enough. The fridge and microwave in the room were nice. There was running water. I will never stay here again and I will not recommend this motel to anyone. If everyplace else is booked in the area and there are rooms at this motel available, which is what happened to me, sorry. read more

One star is generous. The roof kept us dry. Furniture was falling apart. I think an Indian nail bed would feel more comfortable than the cement beds we slept on. When we pulled in, we saw someone cooking on a portable little grill in the driveway and a dozen kids running around in the parking area. The "executive" breakfast is a joke, unless you really like waffles with no syrup or butter. One coffee pot and never full. Don't stay here. So the first room had a smell that we could not identify but the smell by itself was not as bad as the burning of the eyes and nose. Lucky for us there was another room available. It was 90 degrees in the next room, but no smell. The AC cooled it down within 30 minutes. Sink is clogged. Towels are so thin you could mistake them for pillow cases. TV does not work and WiFi is so slow I could walk to the website faster. The only reason we gave it one star is you have to give it at least one star to complete the review. This motel is conveniently located to businesses and the interstate. We were just there 2 nights and were only in the room long enough to sleep after sightseeing. The rooms where clean. The staff was nice. The motel is a good deal for the affordable rates. I agree with Roy B.'s review, there was a twinge of smoke smell in our non-smoking room.The motel is a little dated and we would probably not stay here again. read more

This hotel was absolutely horrible. Upon walking into our room, there were two Burger King cups on the nightstand. As if that weren't nasty enough, we explored more of the room. There was a pair of dirty socks left by the ironing board. An open water bottle and ranch dressing cup in the fridge. Old, nasty pillowcases stuffed between the headboard and bed. The pillows are so dirty under the pillowcases. Frankly, I'm surprised we didn't find any bed bugs. Of course we checked after walking into such a nasty, dingy hotel. We were unlucky enough to get this off of Travelocity's Top Secret Hotels. It had a 2.5 star rating. Travelocity listed it as being on par with a Holiday Inn Express. LIES. I have never stayed in a nastier hotel. If you can find a room in ANY other hotel, take it over this one, for your own good. read more

Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. I've never been above staying in a low rates hotel, as I just need somewhere to lay my head for a night. However, I prefer where I lay my head to be clean and safe, which really isn't too much to ask. I booked this because of price and it was last minute for a business trip. The room smelled of urine and mold. There was a cockroach in my bed. There was an obvious prostitute checking in when I arrived. When I entered the room, it reminded me of an old hotel you'd see in the movies and TV where all the bad things happen (I.e. Rape, murders, drugs, dismemberment...). The paint was coming off the wall and there was an odd stain in the bathtub. I'm surprised I didn't find a dead body that had been left for days in the bath tub. There was obvious drug activity happening in many rooms around me. I stayed in my room for maybe 10 minutes before putting my belongings back in my car and demanding a refund. I found a cleaner, safer hotel in White House for the same price. Never again. read more
