Despite their horrendous reviews across the internet (on Yelp, Google & several used car websites), we chose to do business with Vista Motors because they had an Audi A3 Hatchback on their lot at a price we (up until that point) couldn't beat elsewhere locally. We checked & double-checked their online advertisements (including their website) & confirmed the price of the vehicle and that (1) that price wasn't a "cash only" price as they offered financing on the amount in their advertisements and (2) that each advertisement literally contained the phrase "guaranteed approval" for everyone with "20% down." After a couple of visits to the lot to test drive and inspect the car thoroughly we sat down with one of the sales reps (Leann) to get more information. In particular, we wanted to know why they'd had the car on their lot(s) for more than a year without moving it either to a customer or auction. She didn't know. We left and did our own research to be sure there were no major accidents (including pulling the CarFax on it ourselves since they didn't have it available for us in their office when we inquired on the history of the car). Satisfied that we weren't buying a lemon, we walked back into the dealership on Saturday, July 25, 2015 and found why so many people leave awful reviews. We were helped initially by Carlos (I think that's his name) who knew even less about the vehicle than Leann. And when we began trying to negotiate price on the vehicle he looked at us like we had three heads & were speaking Greek since he said he doesn't do that. Let me repeat that. A sales rep at Vista Motors said he's not the one who negotiates price. What is he there for then? I mean, he had no information on the car when we asked (literally, none...he barely knew what model it was). Is he a seat warmer? Leann walked in the door moments later and offered to work on the price with us as soon as she finished with the customer she was with. Without another word to us Carlos picked up our paperwork and threw it on her desk exclaiming, "she can deal with you now" and didn't say another word to us that visit. Dealing with Leann wasn't much more productive. She attempted to employ every sneaky used-car-dealership scam in the book from asking for a deposit to hold the car (before we'd even agreed on a purchase price) to continually shoving a credit application across the counter telling us she can negotiate our price easier if she knows our credit score (while asking how much we wanted to pay per month). Even after showing her our credit scores (using Credit Karma - which showed an updated credit report date of that week) she insisted credit scores can "change wildly!" and that she couldn't negotiate without them. Even knowing this to be patently false and gimmicky, we continued since we wanted the car. We noticed on the car a sticker price $1,000 more than the online advertised price. She said that's the "cash only" price and that it's for people either paying cash or who have great credit. We pointed out that it didn't say that in the advertisement (literally) and she said she'd work to get us a "good deal". A week after filling out the credit app with her guarantee she'd get a good deal, we hadn't heard back from her. This was after she promised she'd call on Monday no matter what. The following Saturday - a week later - she still had no answers. As of that following (second) Monday, August 4, 2015, I called and left a message since we knew it couldn't take *that* long to run a credit report and discuss price figures with the owner. Alas, as we expected, that wasn't the case. They'd gone through the entire loan application process over that period with the banks they work with and Leann "explained" that since we have poor credit (due to student loans, which is another story completely) she had to use the NADA value for the loan (which is even more than the sticker price on the car at the lot) for the loan. Not only did they move forward with a loan app without consulting me on the final price, they went above their advertised and their lot-posted prices using credit as an excuse. This is neither ethical nor legal in Massachusetts. Adding insult to injury, they wanted to charge us an exorbitant amount of money for the car with an outrageous down payment (nearly 50% down). The car was listed online for $9,990. They wanted $5,000 down and then wanted to put us on a five year $11,000 loan at $241/month. After all was said and done, we would've ended up paying almost $20,000 (including interest) on a car advertised for half that. We politely declined and immediately filed a complaint with the Consumer Protection Agency for deceptive advertising practices. read more

Avoid!!! Car buying purchase is a nightmare. Made payment on a car 13 days ago, and still have not received a valid title. I currently have the car, which I can't drive legally, as it is unregistered and no longer insured (as my 7 day window has closed) Dealership has done nothing to remedy this, and has become rude, as if this problem is my fault. This dealership is by far, the best dealership I've had the pleasure of doing business with in Massachusetts. In my 19 years of driving I've owned over 10 vehicles 8 of which I've purchased from a dealer and I've never been treated so well from the moment I poked my head in the door quickly inquiring as to the price of a vehicle in their lot. I spent 3 months searching & test driving 7 very different vehicles between the Cape and Boston. What really compelled me to write this review is the difference in treatment I received from this group in Bridgewater which set them far apart from the rest and ultimately earned my business. In current society, we've accepted that once we walk onto a dealerships property we ready ourselves to be screwed, all we can do is try to minimize it. I didn't feel that way here, I was treated respectfully, professionally, compassionately and Frankly, the way it should be. I left with my vehicle in the timeframe promised and with all concerns answered. The vehicle was pristine, shining from the inside out and ran like a dream. Now it's all well and good for the vehicle to work on day one but, what really blew me away is when I encountered an issue... I called & they were back in touch with me in a few hours asking me what they could do to make it more convenient to get the vehicle & have work done at no expense to me. Now here comes the kicker, every vehicle I've purchased in 19 years has had problems but the difference, they gave me a loaner car (for free) while they serviced my vehicle (for free). Never, and I mean never has any dealership ever ever ever given me a loaner car!!! I can't name one dealership that has ever done me such a kindness and really kept their promise to sell me a vehicle that I'm going to be happy with, feel safe in and protect my wallet as well. Was swindled into believing the 2005 Prius I bought would need no work and was in tip top shape for at least two years. Bought in November and by April the battery required a $500 dollar repair. I put $850.00 down on a 2010 Volvo XC 90 Sport. I brought in my car title (my trade in) filled out all the paperwork thinking I was going to take delivery of my car that day. I was told it would be ready in two days. Two days turned into five days and they still weren't ready. They refused to refund my $850.00 or return my title to the trade in and stated "everything will be ready tomorrow". I ended up going with a W. Bridgewater police officer and then they gave me my title back to my trade in. Meanwhile, they kept the proceeds of loan ($10,000.00) that was taken out on the car that I didn't take delivery of and didn't return the banks money FOR OVER TWO MONTHS. Absolutely the worst car dealership I have ever been involved with. I was interested in the car would you say held for me I want to take a look at it all looked well the rear hatch didn't work they said they would take care of it. Went back after making a deposit and paid cash in full strove home and the hatch was in the same condition a month-and-a-half later the transmission went I spent over $2,500 in the first month of owning the car only because I trusted him when he said the car was in fine shape I should have known better when all of the information on the cars work history was removed from the book. Every time I called the dealership they had at all sure not a problem we'll take care of it attitude in the end result nothing was done as I was stuck with the $6,000 car that was worth nothing. I attempted to purchase a vehicle from this dealer in January of 2107. I was specifically looking at an Infiniti QX4. After a test drive I asked the dealer to fix a few small things, specifically the driver seat did not adjust back and forth, there was no antenna and the key fob didn't work. He told me that the repairs would be made and I was going to get financing and we would complete the sale 2 days later. Because the car was older than 10 years old, it took me a few extra days to get my financing. I called him to keep him updated and told him that I would have the financing 2 days later and we could complete the sale. The morning I closed on my loan I called to let them know that I would be on my way shortly to pick up the car. All seemed fine until I got to the dealership. Not only was the car not ready but it was being worked on offsite at an Infiniti dealership. This was now a full week after I'd given him a deposit and he never told me the car wasn't ready. Now I was pist because i was driving from over an hour to get to his dealership and I was never told that the car wasn't ready. So I left without my car and with over 2 hours of my time and a friend's time wasted in bringing me there. At that point he told me the car should be ready within 48 hours and that he would compensate me for my lost time by filling the gas tank of the car I was purchasing. I told him that $40 worth of gas was an insult considering the amount of gas and time wasted in getting there to pick up the car that wasn't ready. I would never have driven that far if he was just honest with me in the first place. 48 hours past and when I called to ask when I could come pick the car up he said it still wasn't ready. At this point I was beyond angry and started to inquire about what was taking so long to fix. I never received a straight answer but was told that if I came to the dealership he would lend me a car off his lot until my car was ready. So I went there the next day to pick up my rental and to try to negotiate some form of compensation for the miscommunication and constant misleading, I was told that he would not lend me one of his cars, but he was waiting for the Infiniti dealership to bring him a loner car to give to me. At this point I was quick to not want to give him my business and he was extremely quick to give me my deposit check back, stating that many dealers would make me fight for that in court. I was also quick to bad mouth him to his potential clients on the way out the door, warning them that he doesn't include a full tank of gas with your vehicle purchase. Ronnie was the most misleading and shady dealer that I was glad to not give my business to at the end of this awful experience. Long story short.. I bought a car here with less than 75K miles on it.. Before I even made my first payment, I had to put $700 ( tension struts) worth of repairs into it. MATT at Vista Motors would not honor warranty, because the repairs needed were not a "safety hazard". Is it unreasonable to expect a car to run perfectly for at least 30 days after paying 10K for it? I bought a 2012 Chevy Suburban and when I picked up the vehicle the dealership already had it inspected. Though they thought it was convenient it was not. Once I picked up the truck I took it to a reputable garage and they told me that they wouldn't have given me a sticker based on the worn tires. I tried to speak to someone about this and they said it passed inspection in their end so they wouldn't help me out. Tires are not cheap, so now I have to buy new ones. Wish I had read Joey B's review before wasting my time at Vista Motors today. What a dump. Could get killed just trying to find a place to park or walking to the front door - snow and ice everywhere. They're either too lazy or cheap to shovel and throw down salt. Ronnie and his office buddy were more interested in making excuses. Customers are evidently not important to them and they proved that true during our visit. Went to see a 2002 Ford Ranger priced at $4499. Wanted an inexpensive truck to use for carrying stuff around and bringing plants and mulch home in the spring/summer. It's a 13-year-old truck with 122,000+ miles. I wasn't expecting a perfect truck by any means. I brought the truck to Baystate Ford to have it checked out. Mark, the mechanic, was great and took us to the shop to show us some important safety issues. He mentioned that a few of the issues would prevent the truck from passing inspection. Total cost for all items needing repair was roughly $1,500. I was still interested in the truck but expected that Ronnie would be willing to negotiate some considering the safety issues. Oh, I forgot to mention that the mechanic found that there was NO OIL in the reservoir even though Vista Motors advertised that there was a recent oil change and engine tune-up performed on the truck. I had to buy $5 of gas to get to the dealership and back and 2 quarts of oil to put into the truck. It was so very obvious that Ronnie wasn't the least bit interested in hearing about the mechanic's evaluation. He commented that "he hated it when people brought cars to a mechanic"...and he would never have brought it to the Ford dealership anyway. Oh, he went on and on about "maybe this isn't the truck for you"...blah, blah, blah. We made an offer of $3200 expecting him to come back with a counteroffer. He never budged off of the asking price of $4499. He eventually said he'd have to sell the truck to some kid who didn't expect it to be perfect. Well, how nice. He's going to sell an unsafe vehicle to an unsuspecting individual. We left. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. FIND A REPUTABLE DEALER OR INDIVIDUAL TO BUY FROM. Bought a 2004 Dodge Ram from from them back in the fall. A few weeks later I discovered the back seat and rug was all damp when it raining. Then I found a huge water leak coming from the back window. I got the back window replaced. The truck smells musty and it won't go away. Now I just found out the truck has a rot hole in the frame, dented frame, a power steering rack that is leaking heavily, power steering lines leaking, differentials leaking, transmission lines leaking, all the brake hoses are rotted, front control arms and bushings need to be replaced, has an exhaust leak and the whole exhaust system is pretty much rotted out, it needs front and rear shocks, radiator hoses are leaking, and the brakes are already pulsating and the rotors and pads need to be replaced. On top of all this the truck has a bent rim which is causing extreme shaking at highway speeds. Also the tires have feathered. Stay far away from this place. Their stories don't match up and they lied to me about the truck getting an alignment and tie rod replaced. read more

Bought an SUV from Vista without pulling my own carfax. Big mistake. After having the car for about five months I started to notice it just felt weird when going over bumps at highway speeds. I'll keep this short, by the time I decided to get this car out of my life I was into it for over three thousand dollars in repairs. Tirerod, blown O2 sensor (literally blew off the convertor and could have seized the engine), the mechanic asked me if he could keep the old part beause he was so amazed by it and I had to have the entire exhaust rebuilt. Not because of normal wear and tear but because somewhere in this car's lifetime someone decided to weld the exhaust to the actual body of the car. This car should have never been on the market as it was damaged beyond repair and unsafe for the road. And to top it all off when I went to trade it in on a new car they pulled the carfax and found that "major structural damage to the frame" was reported on this car. Guess that explains the swaying at highway speeds. So please be careful when purchasing a used car (especially from little car lots like Vista) and for the love of God get your own carfax, it's worth the money. read more

Terrible experience. Do not purchase a vehicle from here, or even waste your time test driving a vehicle from here, no matter how good it looks, or how good the price is. You'll save yourself a lot of money and headaches. Run!!! Unfortunately, I purchased a vehicle from them, and within the first 6-8 weeks, spent about $2,000, including a part that was needed in order to pass inspection. A trusted mechanic suspected the dealership tripped the car computer to disengage the check engine light for the few days that it took from test drive to purchase, which unfortunately, I hear is a common practice. The check engine light came on the second day after purchase. Prior to that, when I went to pick up the car, the sticker price was still on the windshield, which suspiciously was about $1,500 more than what I paid. In hindsight, I believe the dealership knew of the multiple problems with the car, and chose not to do anything about it. Money spent after purchase included a complete front brake replacement...all parts, pads, etc. The car shuttered at 60 MPH getting off the highway, and was dangerous to drive. This started within the first week after purchase. My mechanic said they were in terrible shape. A couple of months later, one of the rear calipers seized up, and I had to purchase complete new brake parts for one of the rear tires, which cost me about $400. I've spent over $2,500 in repairs so far. I've also had 3 flat tires, and after bringing the car for the first flat, I was told that the tires were all 2011, and were showing signs of dry rot. They look new, but makes me think that the dealership has a surplus of old tires used to create the illusion that the tires are in great shape, which they look like they are, but I've never had 3 flat tires in 7 months. I've been driving for over 20 years. I wish I'd read reviews prior to my purchase, and I've certainly learned my lesson. Believe the other negative reviews! Do your best to find a reputable dealership. They're out there, as I've experienced in the past. Just wish I'd done my due diligence, but unfortunately, I was too hasty. read more

What do you really want to know about this dealer??? The way they treated me like shit after they sold me the 2009 Lexus car...They know who am i talking about? When i first came in they were so nice to me. Me: I needed the car in emergency for my sister..How long you think i can take the car home? Dealer: in 1 or 2 days.. Some how they came up with some bullshit with the RMV system was down and they couldn't register the car and it took almost 10 days for me to take the car home after i paid in full... then after i looked at the car and a lots of scratches around and told them if i buy this car ...Can you please take off all these scratches? Oh no problem, we will take care it for you...Bullshit ( never done a shit ) Cause i needed the car in Emergency, the prize is fair so i said ok i can take it home and take care it later.. 1 week home the car broke down two times, i called and let them know the battery wasn't good and my sister had to stay outside in the winter cold to ask people for help. I had to call them 3 times and it takes a month for them to take care my battery... When i called the guy at the dealer talking shit and so mean... so i ask him if you were me , you bought a car with 12k and the car broke down 2 times and you called almost a month the dealer didn't care...And now you talked to me so mean and said i complained too much??? I asked him...Is that how you treat customer after you sold them the car ??? He was quite and told me just a damn battery...Hahahaha let's see if he was me how did he feel and react when dealer treat him like that??? I bought a lot of cars in the past, most dealer care and ask me how the car is driving..they do care...This dealer is bullshit try to blame each others for their own faults..Oh i didn't know..Oh the person was taking a note for your car..we fired her...next week we call you ok, 2 weeks no call..WTF...Then i called again he said we will called you when the battery arrive..never did...and i had to call them again..Shit..I am not gonna pay for battery after a week they sold me the car with 12,000.00 with bad battery in a week... I wish there was an option to give this place "0" stars because that's just what they amount to. We were actively searching for a car to replace my wife's aging one. Originally we were given the price and negotiated a discount. When we decided to go ahead with the purchase, their owner, a guy called Alex Ponomarenko I believe, came in at the last minute and told us that we would have to purchase the car at the original price. We showed him our paperwork where the salesperson had signed off on the price after the negotiated discount. He then came back and told us that the salesperson didn't have the authority to give a discount. When we informed him that the salesperson had told us he was an assistant manager he became aggressive and rude. Needless to say we walked away and went to another dealership. You have been warned... We just purchased a luxury SUV for our family today and the buying experience was made so accommodating by the staff. It has been a stressful seach for us as we have three young children and finding something appropriate and affordable for our family was priority. Our search has brought us all over and we ended up making the hour drive to near by dealerships to this one, which ended up severely disappointing us. We found Vista on CarGurus and decided to check them out before hitting the highway home. We found a great fit for our family and the buying process from the test drives to the paperwork was made easy. They are getting the sticker done before pickup even! Very nice workers (and we have run into the fake ones so we know the difference..this was honestly like the 18th dealership we've gone to in a 2week search). Definitely recommend! Ps. I don't normally review places but we had such an awful experience with Vista Motors I would hate for anyone else to waste their time. We put a deposit down on a car to hold it while they got the financing in order. Instead of putting two of us on the car loan as we asked and had filled out the information they put one. We asked them to go back and have it done correctly, which should take no time. Two more days go by without a word from them and numerous ignored calls. Come to found out they sold the car despite the fact we put down a deposit we were told would hold it and also didn't have the courtesy to pick up the phone or answer the phone to let us know. They wasted three days we could have been looking for a new car and were paying for a rental. Total scum and lack of courtesy. I would hesitate to buy a vehicle from a place that treats their customers like this and would be hard pressed to believe that they also tell the complete truth when it comes to the vehicles they sell. NEVER would I send anyone not even my worst enemy to buy a car from Vista Motors. The staff including all managers and owners are definitely uneducated in the car dealing business. Besides for the fact that they sold me a dangerous vehicle they lied about fixing it as well. Several times the car was brought in under warranty for the same issue. The dealers refused to give paperwork on the work that was done and told me their mechanic did not provide it. After going to their mechanic and demanding it he told me he put it in my glovecomparment (which They had removed) he also told me because I was not his customer Vista was he was not able to give it to me. After fighting over an hour he told me that the week my car was in for an engine issue I was given only an oil change. That the car had just had done a week before. Since dropping my car off the last time and their mechanic were intoxicated working on vehicles and there was an oil leak due to carlessness I have refused to deal with the company at all. It has now been 8 months. After the first 30days I tried to return the vehicle and they told me no. After sending them noterized letter they have still not replied and it has been well over two months. They play stupid act as if they have no idea what your talking about when you call and that is only if you actually have someone answer the phone or return your messages. 8 months later and out $6,000 I have no car due to a bad engine which has been the issue with the car since day one. I purchased a used 2007 Nissan Altima for my 16 year old son at Vista Motors. We looked around for over a month and found this car listed on cars.com. Nick P. was very pleasant to deal with and made sure the minor issues we discovered after test driving the car were resolved before signing the contract. He took care of registering and inspecting the car and delivered the car himself to my house the next day (30 miles from dealership). My son loves the car!! So this was my first stop on a long list of dealerships to check out on my only day off of work. The gentleman that helped me out (forget his name and threw away his card without looking at it) was an arrogant prick. First he judges me about being able to afford or finance a $10k car because I look young, both of which I can do (have the cash and the credit). After checking out the car he asked me what I thought and being honest I said it was a little too beat up, to which he says "ya it's a used car, if you want a new one you can go to the Nissan dealership". I left a post back in July when we bought a car from Nick. Everything went good, Nick was great. In the last month the car started burning through oil, we brought it into a shop to be checked and guess what, we need a new motor. We contact the warranty company (btw, worst people you will ever deal with) and they are not covering it. So now on top of a car payment, we need to save for a new motor. SUCKS!!!! I recently bought a car at this dealership. OMG what a nightmare. They were dishonest and Skeemy!!! I didn't receive the car till 2 weeks later. They falsified the car inspection so that it could pass, the mileage is completely different on all my documents. When we went back to return the car, they refused. All my documets have differnt prices and their office Manager was RUDE. They didn't seem to know what they were doing.. I've never had such a horrible experience buying a car before. Oh and now it's not even 25 days and the car is giving massive trouble, has ants crawling all over the inside and has safety issues. Again we called and the owner ALEX advises that "its not his problem". I would not recommend buying any cars at this location. Called about 10 times and left a few messages but never heard anything back so I decided to just drive 45 minutes there because they had the exact Audi I was looking for. I walk in and what I assume is the owner (Ronnie) is arguing with a guy trying to trade in his car. That guy leaves and he immediately starts talking shit about the guy to me and my girlfriend. Very professional. He then says he can help me after "these two hurry up and leave" and points to a mother and son looking at cars in the lot outside and slams on the window and waves for them to come in so he can tell them to hurry. I fill out an application an he tells me to text him the next day. I do. No answer. This was 3 weeks ago, he has yet to tell me if I'm approved for a loan and has been ignoring me for a week. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! I started looking for a car-lot that does "Guaranteed Financing" and was directed to Vista Motors. I looked through their inventory and found a couple cars I am interested in, so I completed the online credit application, this was a Thursday early afternoon. I never heard from them so I called Monday morning to touch base with them and to ensure they received my paperwork. There was no answer so I left a message. I did receive a return call from Stacy a couple hours later. She asked me what car I was interested in and when I completed the online application, she then placed me on hold to find my application. She got back on the phone and asked how much money I would like to put down and I said $500. She said OK, I will call you back shortly. She called me back and said that even though they "Guarantee Financing" I did not qualify for the car I wanted. I was told that I had to choose a car priced at no more than $8,000, and that I would need to make a down payment of around a $1,000. I told her the car I was interested in, priced at $7,999. and would put the $1,000 down. She told me that she would return my call. I never received a return call, so I called and spoke with Stacy once again, she now proceeded to tell me that I would need to put down around $1,800. Reluctantly, I agreed to that and I was told once again that she would call me back. I never heard from her so I called back again Wednesday and spoke with Carlos. I explained everything that happened up to this point and that I chose a car in the criteria I was given. Carlos now tells me that due to my credit he wasn't sure if he could get me financed. I explained to him that I went there because all over their website they push how 'EVERYONE IS GUARANTEED FINANCING", and his response was a laugh, gotta admit that it ticked me off! Despite the HORRIBLE service I had already received at this point I made another offer to Carlos to help secure financing. I offered to put down $2,500 towards the $7,999 car, that would leave $5,499 to finance, that should not be hard to get financed no matter how bad your credit is. It is now 3 days later and despite calling each day and leaving a message asking for a return call to let me know that status, nothing from them, not a single call back and it is now late Friday afternoon. I decided to post my experience here on YELP, when I read all the nightmares and horrible service just about every person has written I was glad my sale had not gotten any further. I will be sure to file a complaint with the town as well as with the Better Business Bureau, this place needs to be shut down!! There are good, honest, hard working men and women in the used car business these days, but this place appears to be full of dishonest weasels trying to screw as many people as they can. read more

do not deal with this dealership. i was interested in purchasing a vehiicle from them i offered them 5500 on a car that was 5799. alex the one i was dealing with gave me this bull crap story about the owner being out of the country. i had a male friend of mine call to pretend he was interested in the same car and offered them 5300 and woudn't you know they accepted his offer. when i brought this to his attention, he hung up on me. when i tried to call back it went straight to voicemail i mean who does business like that? not people of tntegrity thats for sure. they propably figureged because i am a woman that i was going to let them take advantage of me. they are totally disrespectful they speak their foriegn language in front of their customers which i find to be extremely rude. i read a complaint against them on the bbb how the car owner actually had to call 911. read the complaint and judge for yourself. avoid this place. terrible, terrible customer service. i don't even give this place a one star. 0 time ten is more like it. read more
