I had a sleep study at Vista Sleep Center on February 2nd, and it's now April 1st. Unfortunately, I'm still waiting for my results. Here's a breakdown of my experience: Uncomfortable Environment: During my sleep study on February 2nd, the bed provided was low to the ground and didn't feel clean or welcoming. Waiting for Results: Despite being told it would take three weeks to get my results, I still haven't received my results. Failed Transfer of Information: When I sought care from another Sleep Center, Vista was supposed to forward my information. But when my new center reviewed it, they found only a questionnaire, no medical information. Long Wait for Answers: On April 1st, two months after my test, I returned to Vista to request my results. Unfortunately, they still didn't have them, leaving me frustrated and concerned about my health. Confusing Billing Process: When I asked to ensure my insurance wasn't billed for this since I now had to go to another facility, I was told they couldn't help me there either and handed me a business card to another company I had to call. The guy there told my he would email verification I wouldn't be billed. I never received it and called my insurance company. They rejected it since the attending doctor is not an approved provider through them. In summary, my experience at Vista Sleep Center was unsatisfactory. Test was done in March 2024 after we waited a month or so to get in. They don't show up for 30 minutes after the scheduled appt to let my husband in. It's June 10th and we still haven't received the results after being told it would take 6-8 weeks. No one answers the phone and it seems as if they do the bare minimal to just get a paycheck. My experience is similar to Roberto R's on 11/3/22. I had been waiting since 03/22 to get an appt for a "sleep study". Was finally scheduled in 08/22 only to be called a day prior to cancel and reschedule (they said it would be two weeks later). They, too, said they would call me back. Weeks passed without any calls so I stopped by the office and scheduled a date. After the study they said it would take two weeks to get the results. Six weeks passed and I had not heard anything so I went to their office and was told they "just that day" received my results and they could see me the following week. Lo and behold, I actually got to keep the appointment and the Dr. said to call when I got my CPAP machine. I called when I got my machine and was told to use it for a month then come back for a followup. My appt was scheduled for this morning and when I arrived the clerk said they didn't have my "compliance results" and were waiting for the CPAP provided to send it to them. She called the had the report faxed immediately. THEN, she told me the doctor decided not to come to the office today. They didn't even have the courtesy to call me to prevent a wasted trip. I was told they would call to reschedule a new appointment. I went to the CPAP provider's office and obtained a copy of the "compliance report" and can get the information I need on my own. I will NEVER return to that inept, incompetent, ill-prepared office again. read more
