I was sent here after other doctors orders didn't "work" but Dr. Meier acted like the specialist he is and I was on the road to recovery within hours!

When we came in we were brought to a room that had PEANUTS and PEANUT DUST scattered around the patient room floor. This is especially awful because they were made aware ahead of time that my child has a PEANUT ALLERGY. This tells me that they do not clean rooms whatsoever between patients. When we informed the nurse we were given a new room and told there was a mom in there before us with kids. This was said far too nonchalantly. At the allergist of all places this felt so dangerous. Allergies are too life or death for this to be no big deal to them. We got Dr. Moore on this visit to establish care for our daughter as a new patient. My husband and I found her to be immediately rude. She was also incredibly quiet in speaking volume it was extremely difficult to hear her. We had informed her of all of our daughter's allergies yet she still had done skins prick tests even on already diagnosed allergies that will cost money just to tell us what we've already known. Really I don't feel comfortable with her as a physician for my child. I think she and her patients would benefit from her taking a course In something along the lines of collaborative healthcare communication. There was one nurse who came by to inform us about epis and she was up to date on the FARE procedure . The information wasn't new to us but I can appreciate the information being given to people who aren't familiar with the severity of allergies.

Am up for a Mohls the end of Dec which I am nervous about, but I trust in the doctors here. The staff have always been thoughtful and considerate with me, and the young women that rang me to inform of the upcoming Mohls, was very patient and compassionate. Greatly appreciate!

While a gown is offered the exam still exposes the patient. My concern is- that it is best practice to have a female (same gender) in the room or to offer the patient a choice. While I could have spoke up to request a female, in the moment or leading up to the scan, I didn't. I thought about all the other patients that would not have been comfortable due to past trauma or other personal reasons. On my way from the exam room to the patient checkout there were a group of 3 or 4 female medical assistants in their work area. It appeared they would have been available. I spoke with the office manager before leaving offering my feedback. She was defensive. Kept repeating that a note would be placed in my records for next time. I told her that while I appreciate that, my point was to draw attention to their practice of not offering a female in with a female patient for a full body scan, such as it was. The office manager remained defensive and snarky saying they don't have enough female MAs available - to which I responded that there were at least three when I walked by their work station. As an aside, the male MA had terrible BO! What has happened to patient care? I felt the exam was ok, but also rushed - overall the experience left me with an ick feeling and questioning the thoroughness of the exam.

Dr. Dave treated me successfully with the Bowen technique when I had lower back and hip pain. Also, at his suggestion, I tried Kangen water and have been drinking it exclusively for over 5 years. I love it and have recently begun to use some of the other features of the water machine, which Dr. Dave has patiently explained to me more than once. Recently I experienced an excruciating back spasm, and he treated me with massage and natural creams, which lowered the pain level quite a bit while I waited for the spasm to run its course. I highly recommend Dr. Newirth for everyone who wants to avoid prescription medicine, only put healthy things in their body, and thrive naturally.
