This facility has a fancy system that alerts the aides to come check on the patients to clean, turn and check on them. They turn off the alert in the patients room. The problem is, they come in the room and turn off the alert and never turns or changes the patient. They let my mother in law lose a huge amount of weight. Anything she was fed, was fed by family. No snacks offered. We brought food to her that we knew she loved to encourage eating. The staff let it sit in the refrigerator. They were too lazy to warm it up. My mother in law got weaker and weaker. They let her lie in a dirty diaper. I arrived for a visit and informed the aide that she needed changing. The aide was busy texting on her phone. She looked at me and said, "you want me to change her"? We removed my mother in law but the damage was done. She does three weeks later. The "leadership" is only in this for the money. If you love you family member, don't come here.

I would not send anyone I loved to this place. My mother was in here less than a month. She was…read morephysically manhandled by the staff (fingerprint bruises on her arms - we have photos), left in soiled diapers (everytime the family went to check on her - which was often - she was wet or soiled). She was left in bed and not dressed. They did not make sure she was feed. The staff was rude to the family. They try to blame one another for the lack of care given. There is basically NO supervision there in the evenings. My mother depended on them for everything and they gave her little to no care. There was no nurse on staff. Is that even legal? CNAs - if they were even that - handed out medicines. The director and three others stood and watched when my sister rescued my mom from that place yesterday. When my sister walked in the stench from my mom's soiled diaper was unbearable, yet the director and her people stood outside like guards and just watched. No help offered. I am going to report this place to the Better Business Bureau and the State. They should be ashamed treating the elderly this way.
